We had Bay Comfort come out to look at an issue with our heat pump and it turned out to be an issue…read morewith the transistor which ended up being cheap to address. Some other inspection showed the original installers hadn't configured the air handler's CFM to match the heat pump, and even showed us the manufacturers guide on the correct matching to ensure a more efficient airflow volume. And finally one last note was the moisture overflow drain had been installed upside down which could have essentially destroyed the air handler in the attic if there was ever serious moisture buildup. All for an extremely reasonable price compared to the last company we dealt with. Highly recommend, we'll have Bay Comfort out again in the future for any issues or maintenance.

My 3 year old LG refrigerator started leaking water from the ice compartment over the memorial day…read moreweekend. Then by Monday, everything spotted cooling and all food was spoiled. Call Fair Repair on Monday of the memorial day weekend. Alex came out and diagnosed the fridge and said the compressor was dead. Told me the steps to get a new one ordered from LG, which is covered under warranty. They repair to install would not be covered. He gave me and price to replace and would waive the diagnostic fee if they were to install the new compressor. The compressor took almost 2 weeks to get from LG as their process is not acceptable but nothing to do with Fair Repair. Once Alex received the compressor we scheduled the date to install, he came on a Friday night and finished putting in the new compressor. Fridge is back up and even though LG is responsible for such a bad product, Fair Repair did an great job getting our Fridge back up and running. Give Alex a ring next time something (appliance) gives out on you within couple years of owning it.

My tenant reported my house had a wire fire on Sunday August 24, 2026 evening. I remembered 15…read moreyears ago I called Anchor Electric Gus Kanakis to upgrade the panel for my rental house. I called Anchor and reported to Gus. He said turned off the circuit right away. He came to the house on time and texted me. He repaired the arced conductor and relanded to a new receptacle. After further examination, determined loads being used were exceeding circuit capacity. My tenant has portable air conditioning, water dispenser, fans in all three bedrooms, lighting, television, and space heater. Recommended to not use AC and space heater on this circuit. He also installed AFCI circuit breakers to replace standard breakers. Gus consulted with the tenant as to which loads were acceptable and took current readings with these loads. He gave all of us an electricity class. I learned from his class too. He is a wonderful professional electrician.
