Prior to my procedure, I gathered as much information as possible, and Dr. Sena clearly communicated to me all of the potential risks. Going into this experience, I fully understood that complications are indeed possible and can happen to anyone...regardless of any surgeon's talent and due-diligence. That said, although my surgery went well, I developed a fairly common infection early in the healing process. Dr. Sena went above and beyond to remedy this problem. He saw me multiple times after hours and on weekends, and ultimately performed two more surgical procedures. Not only did Dr. Sena successfully resolve the infection, he also took great care to ensure a satisfactory outcome and aesthetically pleasing result, despite complications. Overall, my experience with Dr. Sena was truly phenomenal. He is the "real deal"--a talented and knowledgeable, yet quietly humble surgeon who provides excellent care and exhibits genuine compassion for his patients. From start to finish, I was well cared for, and I highly recommend Dr. Sena as of one of Connecticut's very best cosmetic surgeons. I have never looked younger nor have I ever received so many compliments on my skin. My facial and peel were performed by Kelsey (who is outstanding) and for Restylane in my cheeks and tear troughs. Each time except for the facial I have seen Luanne Hespeler, who is absolutely fabulous. She is extremely knowledgeable in what she does. With that knowledge she is able to recommend and explain different options in order to get the results you're looking for. She's a fantastic listener, kind, considerate, generous, she genuinely cares about her patients and giving them the results they are hoping for. She even gave me her cell phone number after my first fractora treatment. Just to make sure I get a hold of her if something didn't feel right. Honestly who does that anymore? I was amazed! I have recently moved from CT to CA and I hate that I have to find another dermatologist. They will have a high bar to reach after being with Luanne and the staff that supports her. From the receptionists Brittany, maryann, Veronica to her assistants Jennifer and Jenny, they are all incredible, caring and accommodating. All my friends and family rave about this practice and rightfully so, they are amazing. If you are looking for the best dermatology & medspa experience in CT, integrated dermatology of Groton is the place to go. Thanks Luanne for helping me regain my lost confidence and making me look and feel fabulous again. Highly recommend

I'm originally from Central Connecticut and any spa that performed a lip wax always cleansed the area of makeup base and used a magnifying loop to better see the baby fine hairs on the lip. Then pluck a couple that may be strays and apply a soothing lotion. Thus owner did not use a loop, rushed through the process, I told her I could still feel a ton of prickly hairs so she proceeds to rant about hiw she's a legend in the industry. She then gets aggressive with tweezing BUNCHES of hairs all at the same time which HURT!! Why was so much still there?? Never applied any soothing lotion!! She is absolutely a train wreck and unprofessional!! I have never experienced this at other spas over 4 decades of having this performed, EVER!!
