Astro Illinois (Appliance) Services in Lake Zurich was assigned by our home warranty provider, American Home Shield/AHS, to diagnose & fix the sudden failure of the freezer section of our Sub-Zero kitchen refrigerator. First diagnostic visit required 2+ hours, lasting from late afternoon 'til early evening, and they found a leaking Freon line. After getting approval from AHS the next day, they returned to do the fix--again requiring a 2-hour afternoon/evening visit--but in the process discovered the compressor unit had also failed! Another next-day repair approval from AHS led to a third visit to replace the compressor, this one taking from 5pm to ~8:30pm. While some might see this episode as frustrating, we appreciate and applaud Astro Illinois Services' dedication to investigating serious problem(s) thoroughly and taking whatever time is required to get things back to working as they should.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. First of all the technician who came to look at my…read morefaulty dishwasher didn't speak a lick of English. It was borderline impossible to have an intelligent conversation about the issue and potential fix. It was through my home warranty so I didn't have a choice but when I asked for a different technician to come they still sent the same guy. Even when I showed him VIDEO of the issue happening in real time it was like talking to a wall. He gave me some BS about it being fine, AFTER SHOWING HIM THE VIDEO. Not only that but they supposedly ordered a new part and he didn't even install it because he was there for 3 minutes and said "is no leak" even though I tried to explain to him that it happens at the end of the cycle. So now I had to call and demand a new company completely to come through my warranty provider because it's been over 5 weeks of the same back and forth. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY unless you happen to speak whatever language they speak. If I owed a company in France, I would expect all my employees to be able to speak French. How you think you can do business in a country you don't speak the language is beyond me I promise you all these 5-star reviews were purchased. There's no way they earned them

Repeat customer!…read more Todd and Natalie are a phenomenal team! We first worked with Bulldog Property Services, LLC late 2017 going into 2018. My husband and I were in the process of renting my girlfriend's property which was almost unlivable! The Firmstones came in, worked their magic in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner and we were good to move in earlier than expected! Natalie and Todd made sure we were happy down to every minute detail and made several trips to our property to make sure all was well. They're great about keeping an open line of communication every step of the way. Such a professional duo! Here we are, 2 years later, and the village has requested more work be done on the property. After trying endlessly to work with the villages recommended contractors, we ended up going back to Bulldog Property Services, LLC. We should have started with them to begin with and saved ourselves a lot of time and headache! Todd has done more for this project in the last week than the last contractor did in months. Can't recommend working with them enough!
