I came here with family for a quick celebratory late breakfast, and it was such a great choice! The place was pretty quiet (probably because it was a weekday), which made it feel even cozier. Keith was at the front and he was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions with patience. The staff in the back were just as friendly and welcoming. I had the breakfast burrito and it was absolutely delicious. Other family members ordered the chicken & waffles and the Arbutus plate, and everyone was really happy with their meals. For drinks, we tried a hot coffee, iced pumpkin spice latte, hot vanilla chai, and mango lemonade--each one was a hit. The cafe has such a homey feel, like a classic diner where you can really relax and enjoy your meal. We'd all definitely come back again!

Oh, I love this place!!!! My family was in the area to celebrate a citizenship ceremony at the Baltimore Field Office, and we came here for a celebratory brunch!! This place is so cute, vibey, and has a great atmosphere. The food and drinks are SOOO good and reasonably priced. We ate our food and drinks so fast because it was so good. We literally finished eating within 10-15 minutes. I ordered the chicken and waffles, along with a vanilla chai latte. Delicious!!!! Everything was homemade. Everything on the menu sounded super good and original for the restaurant. Our drinks are made on the spot. Our servers, Keith, were the sweetest and so kind. He was so helpful answering every question that we had, checking in about our food and drinks to ensure we were satisfied. He was the best. We don't eat pork, so both he and the chefs made sure to make substitutions to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The place is so cute (see pictures attached). There's artwork along the wall for sale. I truly love this place and would highly recommend it to others for a cute bite to eat solo, with family, or with friends. Thres ton of parallel parking out front and I will be back next week to try something else on the menu even though i dont live in the area. After submitting this review, I'd better not see this place empty on a Tuesday morning, again!!!!

We had been here once before and weren't as impressed as much as we were today. Jeremiah, our server was fabulous! Everything was served with a smile and a great attitude. The food was cooked perfectly and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Looking forward to trying breakfast here in time. Great place to go if your are in Arbutus hanging out!

Definitely coming back .. thanks to Jeremiah ( I hope that's his name) his energy from start to finish made this experience worth wild. The food was GREAT... the breakfast potatoes were AMAZING... the spinach omelet was made to perfection . Overall the food was great . The place its self is small yet cute . The decor could be updated . But again I highly recommend stopping by .

What in the world am I doing in Arbutus? Planning a rare lunch with two coworkers proximate to Catonsville, another coworker from the area steered us toward Arbutus' fairly new Martha's--where old school diner meets modern taste. Fresh food, fresh faces, homey vibe! I enjoyed my fine grilled (or crispy) chicken sandwich on roll with "shreddy letty" and other condiments with Parmesan fries and Old Bay broccoli sides. My cos enjoyed shrimp and creamy tan grits and the breakfast plate. Service from various young and upbeat staff was efficient and attention to our diet and allergy requests much appreciated. Definitely nice to know this varied menu cafe in a quiet residential area is around for brunch and lunch!

Really cute place inside! The Service was just ok.....The food lacked flavor. The best thing was the toast and avocado. The iced coffee was all cream! Hot coffee had no flavor. They need to add Turkey bacon or turkey sausage to there menu for the non-pork eaters. They were out of cinnamon rolls which was the one thing I went there for.

The food a service was sensational, and it feels safe, a great atmosphere. The farm fresh eggs were wonderful. Will return

Finally made it to Martha's Cafe - why did I wait so long?! Delicious food, attentive/cheerful service and overall an awesome experience! Chicken and waffles and creamed chipped beef with Pullman toast were fresh and good portions.

I not only recommend Cozy Café, I shout from the rooftops to go here now!…read more Whenever I have company or family coming into town, old Ellicott and Cozy Café specifically are my first thoughts. One time my partner was standing outside with one of our doggos and I was inside ordering us coffee/breakfast. The owner came up to me and told me that we can bring our dog in. I couldn't figure out how he even knew that they were my people or how he saw them because they weren't standing near windows or doors. But that just shows how much they pay attention to their customers. When I found out that they had coffee flights after I already had been going there for months, I about about lost it. You can choose iced or hot and they come with a variety of flavors. They even top it off with different pastries! Those pastries go with the flavors. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Cozy Café. This is a staple in my house and it should be a staple in yours!

So the flight was for different ice lattes paired with a pastry, which was a croissant a Blondie brownie, a macaroon and lastly.strawberry cake for $25. It took a while for the flight to be prepared because I think they're a little bit shortstaffed on a Monday morning, but they had a lot of comfortable places to sit and wait. The corn beef sandwich came out good and I mentioned it was simple because it's literally just corn beef with some white bread and some cheese, but it was actually pretty tasty for breakfast. The coffee flight came out and it's on a large paddle and it looked really delicious. I have to say the regular flavored lattes and the croissant weren't my favorite choices, but as I started moving down the paddleboard towards flavored lattes and the Blondi bar, it was pretty good. My favorite latte was the butter beer and my favorite pastry actually turned out to be the Blondie brownie bar. The inside has enough seating for about 50 people and it's really cutely decorated. I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the mood for a coffee after a day of shopping in Ellicott city.

The waffles, catfish, and fries really stood out to me. The waffles were the perfect amount sweet and dense. The catfish was perfectly moist and seasoned and the fries were crunchy and savory. The crab was cold in the Chesapeake bowl and it was an expensive dish. The chicken in the chicken and waffles was only okay. I'd definitely return.

The chicken, egg, and cheddar was bomb!! Both sandwiches were a good portion and ratio of meat and eggs. I loved that the bacon was crispy--nothing worse than a rubbery piece of bacon on your sandwich. They were advertising Belgium waffles so we had to try--it was ok. The real star was the sandwiches. Not shown in this review are our beverages. We ordered an iced tea with raspberry syrup and a tiramisu iced latte (didn't taste much of the tiramisu flavor). It was a cozy feel to the seating area.
