I waited five weeks to consult with this doctor regarding some scalp cysts that I wanted removed…read more At the consultation, she told me that she doesn't do this kind of surgery anymore and said that she can refer me to some plastic surgeons who could handle this because "the area bleeds too much and one is in "soft tissue" in my neck and I need to have a plastic surgeon handle it and prep for weeks by stopping anything that could thin the blood". Now I have an appointment in 9 weeks just to consult with a plastic surgeon to remove these cysts. This office seems very preoccupied with obtaining payment from their patients. No confirmation call for my appointment and while I was there a patient showed up for an appointment and he was told that his appoint was not in Port Jervis but was in Middletown, NY office. So he had to scramble and race out to go to Middletown to see his doctor. I also heard the office staff complaining about patients who are late or do not show up. Someone at this office needs to make confirmation calls and communicate better. Also, this office seems like you are in 1986, everything is clean but definitely not up to date and the walls are very thin and you can hear patients in the next room very clearly so speak very softly if you want to maintain some level of privacy. I spent more time filling out new patient paperwork than I did with the doctor who just took payment for an office visit to tell me, go elsewhere.
