The attitude was appalling, the hospitality was nonexistent, and the overall experience was enough to make me never want to spend another dollar here. And let's talk about the merchandise. The quality is so appallingly poor that these items seem to go beyond first- or second-grade rejects. They look like the kind of castoffs that even the Salvation Army might turn away, only to somehow find their way onto the racks of this store. The quality is absolutely dismal, yet apparently the owner expects customers to shop here and tolerate his attitude on top of it. Speaking of the owner, the behavior was every bit as disappointing as the merchandise. You would expect someone running a business to understand the basic principles of customer service, courtesy, and respect. Instead, the owner came across as arrogant, dismissive, obnoxious, and needlessly rude. Quite frankly, the owner has the personality of a gnat and the customer service skills to match. A little humility and a great deal of basic manners would go a long way. Let's be clear: customers are not asking for special treatment. We simply expect to be treated with respect and to find merchandise that is worth considering in the first place. When the products are this disappointing and the person running the store is this unpleasant, there is absolutely no reason to spend a single dollar here. There are plenty of other businesses that deserve customers' money. This store, in my experience, is certainly not one of them. Bottom line: substandard merchandise, atrocious customer service, and an owner whose attitude is even worse than the products being sold. Save your money, save your time, and shop somewhere else.

Pretty much a complete waste of time. Shameful!!! On my previous visit to the store back in the early spring, I went there because I was in a bind for a pair of black slacks. Had an event to go to the following day and somehow was lacking black pants, must have left all I have up north. Explained to the salesman I had everything I needed but was short the black pants. He was very pleasant, showed me the different styles, materials as well as prices. As I was trying to figure out which pants I wanted, this other salesperson came over and started showing me jackets, shirts, and shoes. I told him I didn't need anything else, but he kept pressing me. He insisted I put on the store shoes while I tried on the black pants.  Finally, I had to snap at the creepy guy before he eventually disappeared. Ridiculous!!! Recently, I arrived early down in Las Olas for a lunch event and thought I would run in the store and see what new items they had. I walked in the place, it literally smelled like Taco Bell and it was warm, like 85 degrees in the store. I walked in stayed for about 30 seconds and walked out. Speechless!!!

I love finding small independent businesess like this with nostalgic clothing that sparks a memory. You never know what you might find. Thrift Sh!t Vintage was founded in 2019 by Victor Rodriguez III, who started out by selling vintage apparel while he was still in college. He worked to build his business through local markets. Pieces were sold at UCF and vintage markets around Florida before opening a pop-up in August 2021 at Velvet Velour Creative House in Miami. It was a success and he moved to Proper Studio. In July 2023, Rodriguez opened in the shop's current home in Progresso. This shop specializes in men's and women's clothing. It includes Y2K fashion, retro streetwear, concert and band T-shirts, and sports memorabilia. There was a sale rack when I visited, although some of the rarer concert shirts were priced much higher. A Spinal Tap shirt gave me a chuckle. It also made me start thinking about whether I still have my own box of old concert T-shirts somewhere! I really enjoyed the way the store displays its merchandise. One of my favorite details was an old pool table being repurposed to display jeans. There's also a dressing room, so you can try things on before making your purchase. And if you have vintage clothes of your own that you're ready to part with, they buy clothing as well. This would be a fun outing with friends. The one drawback is parking, which is limited. There is also a sign in the window warning customers not to park at the nearby dog park because vehicles will be towed, so definitely pay attention to where you leave your car. I found Thrift Sh!t Vintage to be worth it if you find yourself in the area.

Deborah makes one of a kind pieces that can complement any body, for any occasion. She can also turn your visions into an incredible outfit. She is a true professional and expert seamstress as sometimes she simply eyed what needed to be done and it was a perfect fit during the fitting.
