I am writing to complain about unprofessional behavior and negative attitude to me as a customer in Marshall's store at 16800 Collins Avenue, North Miami Beach. The cashier who served me on August 18th around 12:40 PM, counter #2, named Marie St.Louis (as I can remember her name, because she refused to let me photograph her badge, as a sign of unprofessionalism and at-fault behavior), refused to refund me on a returned order # 31895357847. The returned items were in a pristine condition, returned within return time, and return was started online. I presented the bar code and order number at the counter, all in accordance with your online return policy. Yet, the cashier refused to pay me the refund claiming that I need to show her the email from my personal phone--a requirement that does not exist in your published terms.. She continuously reminded me that she does not have time for 'all this'. The responding manager failed to intervene or rectify the situation, displaying a complete lack of professional standard. Ultimately, the store confiscated my merchandise but refused to issue my lawful refund. Instead, they forced an unauthorized gift card return on me, the balance of which I cannot verify. Because my return was fully accepted, the store's refusal to credit my original payment method constitutes an unauthorized conversion of funds. As I no longer intend to shop with Marshalls due to this abusive customer experience, I require immediate corporate intervention to reverse this action. To resolve this matter, I require the following actions within 5 business days: 1. Full Refund Reversal: Void the issued gift card and credit the full amount of approximately $100 back to my original form of payment. 2. Order Modification: For my subsequent online order (#31936969802), ensure a physical paper receipt is included in the shipment to bypass any further digital obstruction by your store staff. 3. Disciplinary Review: Forward this incident to the District Manager to address the hostile behavior, policy ignorance, and lack of professionalism exhibited by Marie St. Louis and the management on duty. Terrible and unfair experience at Marshall's - 16800 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 Our car was towed while we were still on the premises of the Marshall's located at 16800 Collins Ave. The vehicle was parked properly, and we were inside the store shopping. We even have the receipt to prove our purchase. Just 10-15 minutes after we walked away from the register, we saw our car being towed -- right in front of us. All of our belongings were left inside the vehicle -- IDs, money, documents, everything. When we tried to contact the towing company, none of the phone numbers worked. Every line was busy or went unanswered, no matter how many times we called. When we came to the towing company (Dolphin Towing & Recovery) we spoke to a person at the office on-site, who said he would not deal with the situation. He refused to show us any camera footage and made it clear that unless we were ready to pay, we had to leave. No proof was ever provided that we had left the property -- because we hadn't. This situation was not only frustrating, it was completely unjust. We were treated with zero respect or consideration. I just went shopping there with my daughter. I live across the street on the beach., within 10 minutes of me being inside of the store I get a notification from my car. It is a Tesla that the alarm is going off. I look at the cameras and it is being towed., I'm standing in line at Marshall's waiting to check out , I call 911 to report this incident of them illegally taking my car, they said there is a security guard that sits in the parking lot and reports vehicles and they get a commission on how many cars they can tow . The police could not do anything about it and they said to file report with RK. Center , I have learned this is a huge scam going on. You're not even safe to park at Marshalls parking lot to shop. Their security guards are making money off, towing their customers cars., even though I had proof of receipt their security footage of me in the store. SAVE YOURSELF!!! I usually love Marshall's but this one is particularly awful. It's across the road from the beach so in our shopping we walked across the street for twenty minutes (no exaggeration) and came back to a missing car. We had to search for a sign to find the towing information (there's only one in the whole lot) and our car hadn't even made it to the yard yet when we called. We needed an Uber to get there and watched another car get towed while we waited. The Marshalls has someone stand in the lot and follow people to tow them as soon as they step foot off property. $210 and an Uber ride later, we will never be back. read more

When I walked in, the first thing I did was go to the restroom to drain the lizard. I couldn't believe my eyes! I turned around and noticed a sign on the door that read: "we attempt to keep our restrooms maintained at all times. if you find them unsatisfactory, please contact the store manager at the service desk." I just had to do it, so I located the store manager, a strung-out older gentleman, and told him the restroom was messed up. He looked at me with this face... LOL. He said, "OK." He was at his wits end. Poor guy. That was pretty funny, so I went back to the restroom and took pictures. The photos have been uploaded to Yelp for your enjoyment. The rest of the store was pretty jacked up, too. But they did have a nice selection of shoes (as another yelper noted) and a bunch of nice ties and belts for men. parked at this marshall's on a sunday afternoon. shopped in the plaza, went and walked around the area, saw the pier. came back and our car was gone. a short, balding, seemingly nice older gentleman came up to us. he asked if our car was gone to which we replied yes, and he told us it was probably towed. he said the manager of mashalls tows cars, and he says you know because he marks them by putting the windshield wipers up. well, after talking with others, and searching the area, we came to 3 conclusions: 1) there are no visible cameras or windows so someone has to be watching people come in and out of their cars 2) there is ONE sign posted in this GIANT parking lot for towing. it might be 6 in x 3 in large 3) this short, balding seemingly nice man IS the manger who is marking cars for towing STAY AWAY from this marshall's, and this shady manager that is clearly running a scheme between himself and Dolphin Towing and Recovery (14710 W Dixie Hwy) to make $$ from all the clothes they clearly aren't selling. they towed 4 cars in our group, and made $210 of each person. save yourself the time, money, and bullshit of this marshall's. read more

This store is located in a commercial real estate strip mall run by RK Properties. RK Properties contracts with Dolphin towing, who are a very aggressive towing company. They employ spotters who will watch your every move and tow your car at the slightest infraction. I've never been towed from a strip mall before, and in talking to locals they're stunned by this as well. But basically, by visiting any business in this development, you bear an unacceptably high risk of being towed. I met a guy who was shopping at this Marshalls, ran into a store to buy a drink for his son, and when he emerged he found that his car had been towed. read more

This is a pretty good Marshalls. It's clean and they have a pretty big selection. 1) The shoe selection is pretty large here, they also have 3 rows of men's shoes..plus the shoe department doesn't look like a hurricane went off in the middle of it... which is always nice! 2) they have a large selection of bathing suits...but be careful I found 2 identical ones with different prices...I took the cheaper on of course. 3) smaller handbag selection, I think it was taken over by the shoes So, I ended my trip with a bathing suit and some shoes...didn't make it to the home section of this store, since I was on a mission for bathing suits and clothes. The check out was pretty quick and painless here. They had 4 registers running. read more

Do not shop here or at any store in the same plaza it's a trap!!! We traveled down here from Tennessee and went shopping for souvenirs in the plaza and got some food there as well and as we came out of Marshalls our truck which was parked completely legally was gone. I called the police and they informed me that it had been towed and I told them my party that got out of the truck was shopping in the plaza and they more or less acted as if I were lying. I then asked for an officer to be dispatched to my location for a report. When they got there they refused to do a report and said there was nothing they could do for me. It's an illegal money racket and it seems as if the local police department has received some hush money to steer clear of it. When we came out for the truck there was numerous families sitting in the parking lot stranded just like us. Save yourself the trouble, embarrassment, and $250 and shop elsewhere let's put the plaza out of business and maybe they'll learn a lesson on scamming people. read more

I used to come to this shop all the time when I had a job in the area. I would walk here during my lunch hour just to get out of the office. This shop is cleaner than must discount stores. But I find Marshalls harder to find discounts than other discount shops. But don't get me wrong, sometimes you get lucky. But $30 for a sweater than the original store couldn't sell seems pricey to me. But people like Marshalls for a reason. The quality of clothing is better than others. But still pricey for me. We parked in the area of this Marshals. The lot on the Southeast side was empty. The fence line, (property line) again in the Southeast area, did not have signage indicating a car would be towed should you leave the property (whether having shopped in the area or not). Our car was towed. We watched another person park their car and immediately after they walked away, their car was towed. The Dolphin Towing Company refused to provide the name of the person authorizing the tow. If you shop in this area you should beware of the above information. I told her that i was very impress with her attitude and professionalism and she just say thank you and smile. Just tried making a return, didn't have the tag on the shoes cause I took them home removed the tags and when I wore them they didn't fit right. The manager tells me that the shoes they charged me are Nine West, not Steve Madden and won't be able to return them. The store still had 20 minutes before closing time and my wife is a quiet and peaceful person who didn't deserve the employee running up directly to her and screaming at her "don't mess up the clothes - we are closed!!!"
