A few weeks ago it stopped working for some reason. I took it to a reputable jeweller and I was told that it needed a replacement movement, but that the replacement unit would not have the illumination feature because it wasn't available. I decided against getting the repair done and I took the watch to another reputable jeweller. This jeweller also checked the watch and told me the same thing. I also decided not to have the repair done. As I mentioned, this watch is very dear to me and I wanted it to work as it was intended. A friend of mine recommended Master Jewellers to me as he so very pleased with their service. I took there and I told the lady how much I cherished this watch, also mentioning the information that I was given from the 2 other jewellers. The lady was familiar with this model of watch and told me that the illumination feature is separate from the movement and it would be retained if a new movement was needed. I agreed to have the inspection and repair done. A few days later she told me that the watch only needed a battery and the existing movement was operating correctly. I was so pleased!!! Not only did it not need a replacement movement that 2 other jewellers told me it would need , but it only needed a battery ! This watch is now woking perfectly just as it had been for so so many years. I highly recommend Master Jewellers to everyone, especially if a treasured item is involved. They are so courteous and honest , such wonderful service !!

It wasn't teasing, this lady was joking about how the poor girl-- who was trying to get through a pile of engraving-- must have been drunk when she knocked over a display. It wasn't an offhand comment! It was nasty, vicious slander in front of a customer too polite to tell this lady off! I saw this mean lady at other stores beore. It's a cute little mall that I used to frequent as a child. I did bring my children here to show…read morethem around and they thought it was such a fun mall to walk around in. It's like one long tunnel surrounding by shops with a connection to a bus terminal. It's a great mall for the neighborhood hosting a some larger stores like Walmart, Independent Grocer, Dollarama, and Natural Food Pantry. I did take a stroll to the second floor where the food court was. It did not look very appealing so we left and didn't check out the restaurants. We ended our stroll through the mall with an ice cream at Laura Secord, which was great and headed home. Overall, its an A-OK mall for the neighborhood but nothing outstanding where I would go out of my way and go back to.

Thats not the malls fault I thought there was one, thats googles fault. It is the malls fault I had to wall the whole length of the mall to find that out, because the only map I could find is up in the food court. The last three times I was here, it was a disappointing waste of time so we would be better off if this mall just closed. Its going to happen eventually.

I'm really grateful that SoftMoc is sticking in Billings. They have the right crowd for it (comfy,…read moreergonomic shoes) and I believe there is a good care clinic in the mall (?) so makes sense to have a good shoe store in house. SoftMoc has really increased their style over the years (and it helps that Birkenstocks are now also fashionable) and they now carry all sorts of brand names shoes that are also good for the feet - it's that nice mix of style and comfort that I really appreciate. In comparison, this SoftMoc is a little smaller than many others so they don't have as much variety as other stores, but it's certainly still worth checking out. If you find something you like, they can order it in or even find the shoe in another store via their system, which is much more sophisticated than other inter-store systems I have come across.
