The tacos are good. Has everything you need for a small market, plus more. Funky cool place. Worth dropping in.

Who knew this little grocery on the side of the road with a western facade would house such delicious Mexican food?? The price was great too! I think we (my boyfriend and I) paid a total of $14 for 2 tacos, 1 tamales and nachos!! Need a quick, delicious bite on your road trip? Stop by here and grab a bite!! It's reeeeaal Y-U-M!!!

Awesome little market in aromas run by Oscar and his family. The stores been there for a blue moon and really is the heart of the town. Located on the main drag, you can't miss it rolling into town. There's a taqueria inside which had great Mexican good which is hot hot hot if you have a unaccustomed tongue. They can adjust the heat if you like mild or not spicey but you have to let them know. Order ur Mexican food and pay at the counter before you leave. Pick up ur drinks including soda, beer, wine, juice or water and you can be on ur way pretty quickly ! Want yo know my personal favorite thing about Marshall's grocery store? In the summer they have a classic car show on Wednesday nights and the lot is usually full of all kinds of cars! Some are restored, some are in progress and some are "virgin " cars meaning nothing has been done to restore their original beauty. You get to meet a lot of people from the town at this social event and some attendees even come from the central. Coast! It's a blast! Check out Marshall's grocery and say hi to Oscar and his lovely wife for me. Tell them Karen sent you'

My husband went in to inquire about it and the associate pointed him to the porta potty in the parking lot. I wasn't thrilled about this but had no other options. As my daughter and I were crossing the lot, the associate noticed us and waved us in, saying that the porta potty is only for men and that women could use the actual bathroom located inside, which was good for us. It wasn't the cleanest facility but it was much better than the porta potty that had sh*t smeared on the seat, blech. They have so much stuff inside this market, the aisles are cramped with you trying to walk through because the shelves are so stocked. Definitely a good place to stock up on any supply that you would want.

Located in the quaint town of Aromas, inside the old Firehouse Market (listed as "Independent" on my map), you'll discover this hidden gem near the liquor section--a true food haven. The Mexican cuisine here is crafted by the same talented lady every time, and she has the magic touch. While there's no space to eat inside or outside, the burrito is simply to die for. The service is wonderful; she always greets you with a smile and takes your order with genuine warmth. I ordered an Asada burrito, ensuring to ask for extra sauce. She knows exactly what she's doing! The ratio of beans, rice, and meat is perfectly balanced. The burrito offers a deliciously flavorful combination without the usual mushiness found elsewhere. The meat is perfectly seasoned and moist, complemented by a salsa that, though a bit spicy for me, might be just right for you. They don't skimp on the meat, making it a satisfyingly hearty burrito! Each bite is a symphony of flavors in your mouth, thanks to the harmonious blend of rice, beans, meat, and that incredibly flavorful salsa. I had to visit three times to confirm this burrito was as good as I thought, and it hit the spot every single time. The consistency in quality is remarkable. This place knows what it takes to make a great burrito. Please, never change the cook--that's the key!

While we didn't see it listed on the menu board, when my wife asked the order taker, she knew exactly what we wanted and told her that the wait would be 15 minutes as they made them to order. OMG, it was beautiful! Loaded with fresh strawberries and just enough glaze to bind it, the glaze did not overwhelm the taste of the strawberries. You can't really slice it as created. Instead, you pick off some of the fruit on top until it's down to a manageable height and then we use a large spoon to parse it out. Whipped cream? Ice cream? Both would be excellent accompaniments to be sure, but we used neither.
