I purchased a stunning rug, only to realize later that it didn't match the bedding I had ordered from Portugal. Since the bedding took longer to arrive due to international shipping, I was worried about exchanging the rug. I called the store, explained my situation, and mentioned that I had my receipt and original tags. That evening, I met with the manager, Jamie, who was incredibly kind and understanding. It was clear that she genuinely enjoys her job and values her customers. She made the exchange process smooth and stress-free, and I ended up finding an even more beautiful rug that matched my bedding perfectly! To top it off, I had help from two amazing team members, the young man with the great accent who helped me load the rug into my car and the lovely young woman with the cute twists and warm smile. These three were the HomeGoods dream team! Their outstanding customer service turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a fantastic one. Fast forward a few months later.. I'm on the hunt again, and I hear someone call my name. I look up, and there's Jamie, all smiles and radiating positive energy! While I like going to this location because they are always well stocked the line is absolutely insane. And I'm talking about early morning at 10/11. Also the clothes don't seem to be as clean as I want them. The clothes section feels more thrifty store than anything. That's why I stay more in housewares. A few times I've gone. I've seen some unsavory characters stealing things and it's just really I turn off. I tell the employees. Not sure if I will be back. read more

While I enjoy shopping at Marshall's, I have learned to check the length of the check-out line frequently. I tend to get "lost" in the store perusing the isles looking for that special something. Then, I go to check out and the line is ridiculously long. Most times I will wait but there are the times when I have only a couple items and I will leave without them. Other than that, I enjoy shopping at Marshall's even if I don't find anything to take home. read more

First let me start by saying I absolutely love TJ Maxx/Marshall's/HomeGoods stores. When I used to work in Davidson several years ago, this particular location was my favorite. You find unique items here and in general the pricing is good. But I've been here about 10-15 times in the last year and the checkout line is always out of control. Wrapped around the kitchen section well into the men's section on most days, regardless of the time of day. 40 minute waits. It's unreal. It's like the holiday lines you expect at the end of the year, except year-round. Even on a good day you will wait 20 minutes easy before you can checkout. My advice is either avoid this location if you don't like long waits or go when they first open. Even when the store opens the lines are lengthy, not sure how that's possible, but it's much better then than later in the morning, afternoon or evening. As much as I love this store, knowing how long the lines will be has kept me from visiting more. Guess that works out for my wallet at least. Funny thing as I was waiting in the long line for the second time today, I heard an associate proudly tell the customers entering "we ALWAYS have a line!" So there you go. And today there were about 40 people waiting in it. read more

This is one of my wife's favorite store. It's also attached to it's Sister Store Home Goods and actually you enter through Marshalls and check out on the Home Goods side. This and Pier 1 over in Birkdale were my wife's two favorite stores for home decor. Since Pier 1 closed the Brick and Morter stores and went to a on line format, most of my wife's shopping is at this store. I like it too but unlike my wife who can spend hours here, I'm good for about 15 - 20 minutes. Biggest complaint is the check out. Always very slow and backed up. You can spend 20 minutes trying to check out and that is on a good day. Don't try that during the Holidays. Good variety and prices are good so if you can put up with the slow checkout, would recommend as a place to find creative home decor. read more

I have been in this store about 24 times. I bought something twice. I only buy food, sneakers, and t-shirts. Only t-shirts would work but I don't want an oversized Seattle Seahawks t-shirt when I live in NC. I have bought a picture frame with a dog in the picture. I keep that picture so when people come over they ask about the dog, which they don't see. I tell them he is no longer with us. Then I receive sympathy for hours. Maybe even a batch of cookies. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!! It's the worst Marshall's I've ever seen in my life! ALWAYS packed, parking lot ALWAYS full, lines ALWAYS long! Clearly, NO ONE in this neighborhood works, because they hang out at Marshall's all day long. Their lines wrap around and in between their aisles and everyone blocks the aisles with their carts. I love Marshall's but this location is always understaffed and the staff will straight up yell at you or be rude as soon as they get 30 minutes to closing. We were waiting for my sister to get out of line (which took forever because they're understaffed) as they were 10 minutes to close. We were yelled at by a lady that we had to move even though we explained to her we weren't planning to buy right now and we're just waiting. She still continued to berate us. I totally understand when businesses want to close but you still have to be respectful to your shoppers. We weren't in the way and weren't shopping or moving anything, just looking. We would've happily moved if she'd had an ounce of kindness. Instead she snapped at us and the rest of the staff. Not cool. read more

The manager was absolutely terrible. I overheard her talking to her employees and heard she was going to ban them from working at other Marshalls/home goods even if they decided to do their formal two weeks and leave. The manager name is serop, and I've talked to the employees. They said that they have friends that left and couldn't work at any other home goods because she placed them on a do not hire even though they were amazing employees! It was just simply because they wanted to leave the specific store. She needs to stop bullying employees!! read more

This Marshalls/HomeGoods is horrible. Never any parking spaces and always packed. Went there a couple of weeks ago and the line was wrapped around twice and all the way to the back of the store!! There were literally 2 cashiers working and 5 or 6 stocking shelves. Maybe they should stock when the store is less bus. Went there today and it was the same story. This store was absolutely beautiful! Well stocked and clean. So why a 2 star review? The line to check out was absolutely ridiculously slow. 45 minutes to check out. At one time there were 7 people behind the counter, 5 register lights turned on and only 3 people actually taking customers. me and my sister were in this marshalls homegood collab and we sat down because i have POTS and was feeling lightheaded, while i sat down i put my feet up on the second level of this shelf/table (i understand its kind of unclean) and then one of the workers walked passed me, i didnt get her name, and she asked me to put my feet down in a polite way so i responded back saying sorry and i put my feet down, but, as she was walking away she turned her head around and gave me a snarky dirty look. i understand i could be in the wrong but she did not have to be "sneakily" rude about it. she was tall and wearing her hair in 2 low buns. read more

The Home Goods side has great deals on one decor. We get things for our pix/mix here, rather than PetCo (too expensive!). We bought a great quality dog bed, and even a few toys from here! Our dog goes through toys quickly (2 min max!) but we found one that lasted over a month! The Marshalls side is actually quite clean! Very well organized. Usually stores like that make my nose runny because there's a lot of dust, but you can tell this location is well taken care of :) read more

It hurts my heart to not a Marshall's five stars....but after the umpteenth time of a bad experience at this location, I wanted to give them a little feedback. The selection is not great. First, clothes: poor brands and at the same/similar cost to sales at beaded store. And who stocks American Eagle anywhere anymore? Sucks that is the majority of their jeans. Bathing suits were crap and athletic wear gives MUCH to be desired. Second, furniture: good stuff but WAAYYYY overpriced for this kind of store. Why would I come to a Marshall's to drop $200 on a plain and not very well made end table? I do like the selection of pillows though...pillows make me happy. Third and most importantly, costumer service: rude, rude, rude. A simple question about lines, products or the dressing room shouldn't be responded with condescension. I shouldn't leave a place bullies into feeling like an idiot or hurt. I also shouldn't feel like I'm being accused of stealing just because I want to try on clothes. I get it you have to check bc it's the reality of society, but I get very accused just when she checked the number of items. "Where does things thing go? What's under here?" IT CALLED A MAXI DRESS, there a lot of material. During peak times there should be more than five cashiers on hand. I waited to check out with two items for 40 minutes. Outrageous. Needless to say, I WILL make the extra 20 minute drive to concord or another location where I feel welcome and things aren't stupidly overpriced. read more

This Marshalls/ Homegoods is one of the best if you ask me! The Marshalls side of the store is always organized well, has plenty of helpful staff and has clean changing rooms. Their baby selection is quite big, as well as their Men's section ( both of which are frequently small in Marshalls and TJ Maxx). The Homegoods side of the store is better than any other I have been to. They carry the most stylish and up to date furniture, décor and rugs. This store is super busy at all times and I believe its all due to the volume, style and array of goodies! read more

I love looking thru every isle (my daughter and husband refuse to go with me) for my latest deal! I love this Marshall's. I've been to this location on several occasions. I've even been twice in one day that's how much I love it. It is very organized and you can find great quality items. The customer service is exceptional. When asked where I get my household items, I always mention this Marshall's. I mainly shop here for household items and I find nice shoes here every now and then. read more

I moved here from Nj and spent a lot of time and money in Marshalls, Tj Maxx and Home Goods. They were separate stores but returns to could be made in any of the three no matter where the purchase was made. The lines to pay and return from Huntersville are ridiculously long and they won't take returns from Tjs . My favorite stores are now reduced to my worst ! read more
