You really can't visit Ross without also stopping by Marshalls when they're right next door! We decided to pop into Marshalls while we were out shopping and spent some time browsing around. We ended up finding a few items and, of course, I had to grab some of their reusable shopping bags. I always love their bag designs and they come in handy for so many things. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop. One of the things I love most about Marshalls is that you never know what you'll find. Whether you're looking for home décor, clothing, accessories, beauty products, or seasonal items, there are always hidden gems waiting to be discovered. If you're already shopping in the area, definitely make time to stop by Marshalls. It's one of my favorite stores for finding unique items at great prices, and this visit was no exception! Always a huge line. Expected sometimes but normally it goes fast. HOWEVER, the last time I was there (Jan 31 around 430) there was a girl (brown hair, young, sweatshirt register 7) that stood behind the girl checking me up and complained about her hours while on her phone while all these people where in line. The cashier asked her to help wrap something and she gave her attitude. The manager had to come over and tell her "all these people here and you on your phone" and she remained on her phone! Worst employee of the year award and I hate that HomeGoods is hurting so bad for help. She was horrible. Also, her sweatshirt was black with writing. Check the camera HomeGoods. read more

I do like this store but my goodness it's always busy. Parking can also be a pain. Their shoe department is small in my opinion. They have a good selection of clothes and lots of houseware items. Prices are good and decent and the lines go by quick. read more

Who doesn't love a Marshalls/HomeGoods combo. I could spend hours browsing this store. This is one of those stores were you can find some gems/deal if you have time to explore. Definitely not the best Marshall's in the area. I went looking for a wallet and some polo shirts for my husband. There was a very limited men's section considering they are in the busiest shopping area of Greenville. Stood in line for 11 minutes to check out at 11am on a Monday! read more

We love this store! It has so much good stuff you don't need until you see it and realize you MUST have it. Clothes, furniture, linens, lamps, glassware, even dog beds, as well as some exotic food items. This is where you go when you're setting up in a new house or dorm! I thought they'd only have items for the home. But they have clothes / shoes too. I spent an hour + here. Walked out with more than enough things for my house. I'd shop here again , & again. The check out line even went fast! & they had hella shoppers When I first walked in they're weren't any carts. I came to get only two items anyway. I walked around the shoes & clothes section. The purse section was laid out nice. They had them assorted by color which made it beautiful. I found a blouse for me in the junior section which fits perfect & is super cute! Once I started to pick up more items , I went to go get a cart but there were NO carts near the door. It was pretty crowded in store but that didn't stop me from shopping. I got 2 wine glasses that were ombre(ish) & reallllly cute! I didn't know that marshall's could do me this good. I am satisfied !! read more

I thought that I left behind an item that I bought from a different store so I called and spoke to staff members and explained my situation. Each staff member that I spoke to got other staff memembers involved in searching for my item. They exceeded my expectations! Each employee that I spoke to genuinely cared. The item that I thought I had left behind was found underneath the seat of my car, oops! I contacted the assistant manager who was involved (I forgot her name, yikes) and she was so happy for me and showed no signs of discouragement as I wasted their time. The only reason this store doesn't get 5 stars is because of the layout, especially in the furniture section, and that it's located in the most congested area of Woodruff Rd. Otherwise, this store never disappoints. I could spend hours, especially now during the holidays, and get most every gift I need that wasn't already purchased online, the cutest wrap and cards, and even a blouse for a party. Going early in the day or later at night will help to avoid the worst traffic. Great brands with the best prices, lots of choices, friendly employees, and plenty of registers open. The fitting room lady told me to put back everything on the hanger. This is so wired. I have never seen such a thing ever. And then the manager said this's store policy. TIME FOR A BIT OF PAMPERING! I don't really shop for clothing here anymore but I love going to Marshalls for non-clothing items because they always surprise me. I love the personal care department because this is the place where you can actually go to get something uniquely for you to pamper yourself. I have found some really cool items here such as make-up brushes, a quality sleep mask and odds and ends. Today I decided that I wanted to get some therapeutic socks and knew this would be the first place to look. BINGO, I was right because they had the exact item I was looking for: moisturizing socks that feel and smell divine! I wanted a nice pair of socks to protect and condition my feet at night so that I can get the most mileage out of my pedicure. I sleep on flannel sheets which are heavy cotton and very absorbent so they are just sucking the moisture out of my feet as I sleep and that this not good. In addition to creams and implements to take care of your feet, they also have skin creams and conditioners, hair care items, fragrances and more. This store should be a prototype for other stores because it was so clean, organized and spacious with everything being displayed in a thoughtful and intentional manner. Also, this has been the first time that I can actually recall not having to actually wait in line to check out. It was quick and easy! ***Ladies, it is so easy to go in focused on the hubby or the kids but take time to think about yourself as well. Went in today to buy a number of suitcases for a trip, asked if they would look in back for some matching colors to make a complete set. Employees said they have more in back but didn't want to go look. So we walked out. Will not be back ever again. We usually go to Marshalls mainly to check home decor or kitchen essentials. This store never disappoints us. They have very unique and useful things and most importantly everything is priced appropriately. You don't feel that you are splurging. As far as Marshall's goes, this is one of the bigger locations that I have been to, outside of the numerous locations in New England that I have visited and the gigantic one in Sunrise, FL. The downside is the slim pickings that it has for men's clothing. Not nearly as good as the smaller TJ Maxx or Marshall's locations in New England. It has a lot of garbage for men. Women's clothing on the other hand, plenty. Looking forward to the new TJ Maxx location opening soon on Haywood Road (at the former Toys 'R Us location). read more

I went here twice over the holidays. I can't say I enjoyed my experience, because "enjoying shopping" is an oxymoron, but this was about as pleasant as it gets, for me. I didn't have someone hassling me all the time. I was able to mosey in and out of the less-than-organized aisles rather seamlessly. The haphazardness and dishevelment gave me the peace of mind that I wasn't destroying someone's hard work or leaving the place worse than I found it. I bought some coats in my first visit and had to return one on the second. The line was about 10-15 people deep on both visits, which gave me immediate hesitation. However, they moved through the patrons rather quickly because they actually had enough staff to accommodate the holiday shopping season (surprisingly, this seems to be the exception rather than the rule). I stood in line for maybe five minutes and was on my way. Prices are reasonable with a pretty good selection, given the prices. Went twice in two weeks and would go back again. read more
