Yes, at times customers are greater in number than cashiers...that is a universal problem. However I have found the staff friendlier than most stores. Courtesy on the part of a customer can make a big difference in a store clerks reaction, even when they just had a bad experience with previous customers. As far as the available merchandise, it's one of the best Marshalls stores I've visited. I no longer live in Spartanburg, so I'm shopping other locations. Several have far less than than this location. So when I visit Spartanburg and have time, I will make a stop at Marshall's. It is the thrill of the hunt, and I'm not often disappointed.

Hi, I went to this Belk for like 1 million times and this one time I came my daughter wanted these…read morejeans and shorts so we paid for that we paid for them and then we went home because they said we have to wait till June 5 or June 7 so a couple days later is June 7 so we went and when we got there, we went to the shoe rack where we were told to meet up we went to the customer service and we asked for it. They told us to tell our name in our last name so we did that and after we did that they were like OK we'll go grab it in the back for you. They come out and they're like hey, your card was declined out loud in front of 10 other people and it was declined apparently because they don't take tap but apparently they took a tap that day so I'm a little confused and then we went to like this one thing we're like hey so if we're gonna pay for it again to me at least have the five dollar coupon we used on this day for it and they're like no you cannot have your five dollar coupon which I find very rude and I will respect it if they would have been more nice to me in front of my kids and then we go upstairs and speak to the manager, but the manager was not there and the lady said the manager is too busy to speak with us so we come downstairs to see the manager so then I come up to the manager and talk to her, but it's only escalate down from there to the point where the lady who was helping us earlier after the problem with somewhat getting solved, the lady was helping us earlier, comes up to us and starts calling me mean and is shouting at me in front of my kids which I find very disrespectful and you're not one of my kids to have to witness that so I just want to say this and please they don't associate and help you and apparently they don't accept tap but they accept tap the day we paid and don't understand that Apple think it's fraud if you have it opened for more than five Days

Today my daughter was with me and she spent most of her time not grocery shopping. I got a good look at their other merchandise and it looked extremely on the high side. Truthfully this is a beautifully designed store. It's got a ton of floor space. It's super clean and the store associates were pleasant and courteous. Target is like a high end Walmart in my opinion. Today was the first time that I was a little disappointed with Costco. I made a special twenty two…read moremile trip one way from my home in Gaffney, S.C. to their nearest location in Spartanburg, S.C. I made this journey with the hopes to buy two boxes of their Goolsby's sausage patties. There are 24 frozen patties in a box. I couldn't find them anywhere so I went to the Costco Membership Desk/ customer service center. They happily looked up my item and told me they had some two hundred and eighty some odd boxes in their massive backroom freezer. A C.S. guy (I don't like to name people in these circumstances as this isn't personal) offered to get them for me. He was gone about twenty minutes. When he returned he said my sausage patties were buried in the back of the freezer and I would have to come back tomorrow. I showed no emotion and just blankly stared at him. Normally Costco will move a mountain to please a customer and it surprised me when that didn't happen. This C.S. guy was trying to be helpful and he was pleasant and apologized and shook my hand. Gas is at near all time highs and I didn't appreciate making another forty four mile round trip tomorrow. I apologize to the Yelp World and Costco Land if I'm being too harsh. Every other of the hundreds of Costco visits have been nothing short of spectacular! I still love this place!
