Not the ideal place for men's clothing. The selections are dull. It's like they just recycle stuff that didn't sell at Walmart. Also not a fan of how this place is organized either, you've gotta just dig around a bunch of unorganized racks and hope for the best. Think they are going for quantity over quality. read more

The store cleanliness at this location was uniform across the other Marshalls locations. I think this location has a tad more prevalent brands (A&F, Hollister, etc.). Some associates are more friendly than others, but they're overall okay on the customer service scale. There's really nothing too special about this particular location other than the fact that I found a really cheap (and cute) umbrella. Lol! I know. It's pretty random. My mission was to find a super adorable umbrella that wasn't tote sized for $8 or less. Long and behold, I found one here at this location. :) Parking was plentiful as the store is located in a large shopping complex. read more

Update* So today I went to Marshall's to see if I could find any deals in the cosmetics section and I did. I found a name brand eye lash curler and these black dual-tip tweezers for $3.99 each and a elf kohl pencil for $2.39. Super Cheap!! Anyways I have changed my rating from 4 stars to 1 star due to the fact that there was an Marshall's employee looking over me the entire time and walking almost behind me like if I was gonna steal something, please loser, who do you think I am! I would never ever steal anything from any store and specially this cheap ass store! I felt so uncomfortable that I basically didn't want to keep looking around and it was obvious because he never once asked if needed help finding something or anything at all, it's fucking ridiculous, I might never go back to that Marshall's!! 1/19/14 I got a legit iPhone5 car charger for $14 bucks. Not my favorite Marshalls, but when in the area, I usually make a quick stop, to run through the shoes, women's clothing, and home sections. I typically do not find anything that catch my eye, which is needed for me to slow down. Yesterday, however, I did find some nice serving ware for dinner parties, so with them in tow, I headed to the register. Maybe it was the temperate weather, but it seemed that lots of others planned to come shop at the same time as me. This resulted in a longer-than-wanted wait in line, though I admit that the process is pretty efficient, and I ended up passing the time by checking out all the things they have lining the shelves on the way to the cashiers. Several times, I picked up bags of coffee or candles and strongly considered adding them to my treasure trove. I resisted, which my bank account did not complain about. Friendly people at the register and considerate wrapping up of glass/ceramic/breakable items. While the only interesting things I found were for the dining room/kitchen, I will still come back and quickly run through the shoes and clothes aisles, just in case I find something great. Around 9 pm on the eve of Father's Day, I still had not bought my dad a gift. (I know, I know... that's pretty bad...) I contemplated just giving my dad the nice card I had already purchased and "owing" him a gift A.S.A.P. However, it was then that I was driving past Marshalls and decided it couldn't hurt to just stop by and see what they had. I really didn't think I'd find anything to get my dad. I was surprised and grateful to learn that Marshalls stores close at 9:30 pm every day except for Sunday, when they close at 8 pm. So basically, I had 30 minutes to see if I could find a suitable gift for dad. As you can imagine, it was pretty busy with customers like myself who didn't buy their Father's Day gifts ahead of time. This particular store is probably one of the smallest Marshalls I had ever been to so naturally, the selection of merchandise was lacking. My dad likes wine, so I thought it would be best to get something related to wine. I looked at some wine glass sets and liked one in particular, but I couldn't find a price sticker on the box and didn't want to waste time getting an employee to search for it. However, I ended up finding a Vinturi Red Wine Aerator for a pretty good price! For an additional gift (because I felt that the aerator by itself wasn't sufficient), I found a Dirt Devil mini handheld vacuum cleaner to clean little nooks and crannies, such as keyboards and spots inside your car. The price for this wasn't bad, either. Check out took a bit of time, but I didn't mind browsing through the little items by the line as I waited. I really like that they have a system which utilizes a flashing sign by each register to indicate when it is available once each customer is finished paying. This takes the awkwardness out of constantly looking at each cashier to see if he/she was ready for the next customer. Overall, this Marshalls gets 3 stars for its friendly employees and good selection of merchandise considering the small store size. I'm thankful that Marshalls saved me that evening before Father's Day because I would have felt terrible if I hadn't found anything for my dad. My dad had never heard of a wine aerator before, but he liked it and my family has enjoyed using it to enhance the flavor of our red wines. I'm not sure if he has tried the handheld vacuum yet, but I'm excited to try it out for myself. I tend to visit a lot of Marshalls stores, and most of the time I don't buy anything. I just like to peruse and see what offerings they may have available. Sometimes, you can get some really good deals in these stores. Anyway, this is one of the nicer Marshalls I have been to. The layout is nice, it is rarely over crowded, and the customer service is friendly. It is right near a few other places I go for errands in Atlanta, so I swing by here and just see if there is anything I want to pick up. Most recently, that was a belt when mine broke and I was in town. I don't have much negative to say about the store. The parking lot is a little odd in this shopping system and can be difficult to get in and out of your parking space, though. So if you can park at a distance and walk, it would be much easier. read more

What a mess :-( stand in line for a LONG time every time I'm here. Lawrenceville location is much better

This review is just based on the Marshalls on Satellite Blvd, Duluth of Georgia. I haven't experienced any kind of issues with any other Marshalls or its sister stores, TJ Maxx and so on. This particular Marshalls store has the absolute worst customer service and most of the employees including the management seem untrained at the resister and treat their customers like trash. I'm not sure how they get away with half the treatment but I figure it's because most of the customers are ethnic minorities who can't speak English very well, let alone write any kind of reviews. The last couple of visits here have been consistently getting to be more and more of a stressful shopping experience so I have decided to drop shopping altogether at this location. The convenience of the location is not worth the stress anymore of dealing with these nincompoops who act like trolls on their periods. A recent scenario was that I had a card with store credit in it, not that much mind you; it was less then $10 but I was in the area so I thought why not? I got my purchases, took it to the register and the employee swiped my card. She seemed to be having difficulties operating the register or combining payment so she called the manager. The manager comes and tells me that there's nothing on the store credit card so I would have to pay the full amount. I tell her I had already swiped the store credit card and that's why it's been deducted. It then takes her and the employee a good 20 minutes to figure out what is going on all the while the manager trying to argue with me that there's nothing on the card. They finally find out what's going on and it happens that the employee made the mistake by checking me out without combining the payment with my debit card. The manager looks at the employee and the employee is like, 'she never told me that there was less than $10 on the card.' Not only was there not even a simple 'sorry' but somehow I get the blame for the employee's fuckup? *facepalm* Come on, do it right by AT LEAST owning up to your own mess. By then, I was already tired and felt worn down trying to keep this encounter pleasant and even though I felt otherwise, just brushed it off as... well, everyone's human and make mistakes too. So against my better judgement, I went back to return a purchase I made before that mess and was smacked in the face with, yet again, another stressful and unpleasant experience. (if it was going to be like this again I would have opted to just give away the return to someone else or throw it away) I had bought a bunch of supplements and workout stuff some weeks earlier and wanted to return a powdered peanut based supplement. It was a red tag purchase that I had made on impulse and grabbed off the sales rack without checking the label and didn't like what I saw when I actually did check later. The lady at the register took it and opened the top and I was surprised to see that someone had opened up the seal under it. She told me it couldn't be returned. I told her that I didn't know that it was opened in the first place and she proceeded to sarcastically tell me that of course everyone checks before they buy. Sorry but not sorry, I'm not everyone and I didn't check. Stupid I know. But I didn't. And it's not the first time that I see foods with torn packaging within the store that has the red tag on it so I assume that was the reason it was on sale. At this point, I'm getting stressed again and a bit angry and am contemplating on asking to see a manager so I can explain the situation. She sees that and asks if I just want store credit instead. I just want to get out of there at that point so I say yes. Needless to say I just spent whatever was left on that card in TJ Maxx down the street. Never again. read more

Good variety of clothes. Was very busy being it is a Saturday. Pleasantly surprised the checkout was faster than expected!

I must say after my wife dragging me in and out of this place, I find myself a fan of Marshalls. I they have a good selection to choose from and the prices are reasonable. i definitely recommend this place read more
