He provides very clear communication regardless if you prefer calls/emails/text, and he was very accessible throughout the whole process. This was especially important as we were buying from out of state with the intention of moving to Austin soon. Kiel gave us recommendations for what pricing to start with and helped with negotiations as well as giving a recommendation for a home inspector so that we would be well prepared on the condition of the house during the option period. Negotiations were data-driven with comps in the area and he also provides monthly market analysis. I would definitely recommend Kiel for home buyers!

He helped me sort through my priorities and ultimately find exactly the house I was looking for. Over the years, we regularly kept in touch about the market and my home's value. When it came time for me to move, there was no question that I wanted Carson to be my seller's agent as well. His advice on pre-sale preparation and pricing made a real difference. We received an offer within two weeks, while many other units in my development had been sitting on the market much longer, even after price adjustments. Having an experienced, knowledgeable agent like Carson guiding me through both buying and selling made all the difference. I would absolutely recommend him.

He's friendly, attentive, responsive, reasonable and doesn't hesitate to share his feedback, good & bad, or just for things I hadn't thought of. I was looking for someone with an experienced perspective, not just a yes-person, and that was my experience with him. On the selling side, some of my family had agents in the past who went unreasonably overboard with staging or bending over backwards for prospect buyers, and that was not my experience here, which I'm very grateful for. We dealt with a Prospect buyer/agent combo who were at times unreasonable, waited until the last minute to ask for things & where the agent didn't do a good job at managing their clients' expectations, and Jason handled a lot of those tougher interactions before I even had to, and was instrumental to getting us through close. Before finding Kat, we struggled for over 6 months in Austin's stressful seller's market. As first-time homebuyers, we felt completely overwhelmed. That all changed when we were introduced to Kat. Within 3 months, we closed on our first home. My top 3 reasons for recommending Kat: 1) Kat knows not only Austin, but also its surrounding areas (Bastrop, Elgin, Wimberley, etc). Though we looked at homes in Austin, we ended up in Spicewood. It was great to have a realtor whose knowledge was so expansive. 2) Kat has the experience to get your offer selected in a competitive market. We were in a multiple offer situation, and though our offer wasn't the highest, it was selected - all thanks to Kat's skills! 3) Kat truly cares about YOU as a person. She is passionate about understanding what you want and doing everything in her power to make it happen. Without a doubt, Kat will be our go-to realtor the next time we are ready to sell or buy.

Kristina is a whiz and an expert when it comes to working with first-time home buyers, single-home buyers or home-buyers who don't want or can't afford to put down 20%. She is equally sharp and patient, and if you have any doubts you can follow her blog (https://www.howtobuyahouseinaustin.com/) or instagram (@open_houseaustin). There are plenty of realtors in Austin and many can be pushy. Kristina is not. She met me for coffee and gave me a free book she wrote on her own about the Austin market. Throughout the next 9-10 months, I asked her random questions on IG and followed her blog to learn as much as I could about Austin. I also reviewed various listings that she was sent through her realty company until I felt comfortable reaching out to her to purchase a home. During the home-buying process Kristina was gave me plenty of feedback on the pros and cons of various homes, ways I could monetize my own property or make upgrades to make it more affordable and/or valuable and insights into the East Austin market. I picked out homes I wanted to visit and she helped me find similar homes within my price range, or ones that I had not thought of. She also connected me to a great lending team that helped make the closing and moving process smooth and I felt like I was fully prepared to become a homeowner in the hot Austin market even though I am single. I was even able to close 5 days early (closing took less than 30 days total) and earn a bonus from the seller. I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia on referral from my sister who spoke highly of her and…read moreso I decided to give her a try. Cynthia was absolutely fantastic to work with, start to finish. She listened and learned what my preferences were in home features, location, and budget and helped guide me to options that I was able to review. She stayed on top of things even when I was abroad in London for 6 months and sent me some options and kept me in the loop. She even Facetimed with me to provide me virtual views of homes while I was away! When I decided to put the search on pause until I got back to the States, she completely understood and respected that and didn't pressure me at all. When I got back to the States and picked back up on house-hunting on fast-forward speeds, things got a little hairy on my end where I was getting frustrated with losing out on bids or finding homes with too many issues. I had to leave yet again to go abroad and had about a little less than 1.5 months to find a home before I left again. I definitely took out my frustrations on her and got testy and grumpy (and yelly and angry and batshit) with her, but she never once reacted equally. She was always the consummate professional and was sympathetic with my plight of being a nomad for so long. When I finally got a house, she made sure she was on top of all the details to expedite the process as much as she could. She followed up on all the paperwork and action items, and made sure it was arranged for my sister to have power of attorney to handle the final transaction. The house closed, my sister got the keys, and Cynthia was a sweetheart and left me flowers, a bottle of champagne, and a kind note congratulating me on getting the home after a long and arduous search. After this wonderful experience with Cynthia, I cannot say enough good things about her. She's sweet, honest, sympathetic, patient, hilarious, and down-to-earth. She did not provide good suggestions during negotiations with the buyers - instead pressuring me to accept the offer with mixed messages that the market was changing, that all the other Relators were seeing the same thing, and that leaving my house on the market for 7 days would be a problem. She did not provide independent advice about the offer or the market - just said I should accept it and that I should listen to her professional advice. She seemed annoyed when I asked for more information. Closing almost didn't happen because she waited to work with the title company to get my loan payoff info until Friday at 430, for a Monday closing. Can't recommend.
