I've had the opportunity to visit this campus several times throughout my Godson's college journey…read more-- from freshman orientation and move-in day to family events and finally graduation -- and every single experience has been exceptional. From the very beginning, the school created a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment that made both students and families feel comfortable and confident. During freshman orientation, the staff and student ambassadors were incredibly friendly, patient, and informative. They went out of their way to answer questions, give directions, and make sure everyone understood the process. Move-in day was surprisingly smooth and well coordinated, with plenty of staff and student volunteers available to help students and families transition into campus life with ease. You could immediately tell there was a strong sense of community and pride throughout the campus. Over the years, each visit reinforced the impression that this school truly cares about its students and their success. The campus was always clean, organized, and welcoming, and the staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and kindness. Most importantly, my Godson always felt supported academically and personally during his time here, which meant a lot to our entire family. Graduation day was the perfect reflection of everything we experienced throughout his college years. Despite the large crowd and busy atmosphere, the ceremony was extremely well organized and efficient. Staff members and student volunteers guided guests every step of the way, helping with seating, directions, parking, and crowd flow while maintaining a positive and celebratory atmosphere. The event felt special, memorable, and thoughtfully planned. Watching my Godson walk across the stage was an emotional and proud moment for our family, and I truly appreciate the role this school played in helping him grow into the successful young man he is today. Thank you to the faculty, staff, and students who helped make his college experience such a positive one. I would absolutely recommend this campus to any student looking for a supportive, organized, and welcoming college environment.

There is a giant park 8 minutes away from campus that is perfect for a picnic, a stroll, or an exercise. I like that this school has more school spirit than some others and they try really hard to spread that Titan Pride with beginning of the semester campus events. Parking has never been a situation for me because of how early my classes were; however, it does get hectic around noon. My experience with the financial aid office as okay. They aren't the fastest and don't even try to call them. They're too busy helping out people in person. You are better off driving back to campus in-person to get assistance with any financial aid problems, which is not ideal if you live 30+ minutes away.

They truly offer a quality education to our community and the campus is so classic and beautiful with many historical buildings. Come to find out, my physical textbook didn't correspond to the online textbook. Paragraphs were missing in each chapter, or data statistics were not the same. The textbook was sold to me was published in 2022 and the online textbook was published in 2024. I scratch notes and make highlights physically into my book to help me study information l, hence why I purchased the textbook. When attempting to fill in information that was missing, it became ok much to do in each chapter. I informed my professor that I am getting chapter questions incorrect due to questions being asked that were not in my physical textbook. My professor's response was "...printed textbooks are published every 3 to 4 years. By the time it gets to print what was written is 9 months old before the actual publish date... Unfortunately, we cannot stop the world from changing." Is this something where I say "you're right Professor. What was I thinking?" Why do I spend money on outdated material? It appears that the material is sold at the Fullerton College bookstore because the professor approved it. I ask again, why do I have an outdated textbook that was sold to me by the school?

Departments that should be working…read moretogether--like Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy--often have no idea what the others are doing, even when they're addressing the same student requirements. Professors within these departments teach drastically different content and expectations for what are supposed to be standardized courses. The curriculum hasn't been updated in years--circa 2005--and it shows. Policies, procedures, and codes of conduct are inconsistently enforced. Transferring is an entirely separate headache: departments pass off responsibilities to each other, and overwhelmed, underpaid staff members without adequate knowledge leave students to pay the price. There are other schools better equipped to help students meet today's challenges and develop practical life skills. And while this institution promotes a Christian identity, it often feels like it only scratches the surface--leaning more toward spiritual bypass than genuine transformation. Bottom line? You deserve better. Keep looking.

!! Please read !! Very weird and sketchy program…read more As someone who is a pre-nursing student, I was looking for programs that provide free CNA training to boost up my applications for nursing school. I found this through a couple Google searches and I fault myself for not doing much research but I was drawn to the fact that it was free and sort of local and they offer job placement after. I called them to schedule an appointment with them since you can sign up in person. When I went there, I did the applications and the program director takes my social security number and my ID to make a photocopy of it. This is usually a normal process but then she "forgets" to give it back to me. Nothing alarming about that at first since mistakes happen. I ask her can I have my ID and SSN back? And she's like oops. She tells me to buy scrubs since we needed it for the second day of the class. I went home and immediately bought it on Amazon. Fast forward next week, I get a text saying I got accepted into the program. Cool. I was excited to start my nursing journey basically. I had my scrubs and everything ready. Then 2 days before school starts I get a text saying the class is cancelled indefinitely. I tried to reach them in every possible medium I could find--phone, text message and each time I get an automated message saying they are busy with their students or I get ghosted on text. I just wanted to get more clarification on what happened. I don't know what they're doing with my social security number and ID but I hope they destroy it. I can't seem to sleep each night because I'm scared of being a victim of identity theft.

He made going to class so much fun and encourages learning through fun methods and sharing personal experiences. It is very evident that he cares about what he does and values what he teaches, which is very infectious and makes his students care more about what they're learning as well. The school gives you the option to pay for tuition after graduating, or you can work for one of their facilities for one year to pay off your tuition! The only thing you need to cover are the costs of scrubs and vaccinations in the beginning, which are very low. Lots of good food in the area as well haha.

The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.
