One year he was voted One of the Best Doctors in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine. Bedside manner = A+ Humor = A+ Empathy = A+ Professionalism = A+ Intelligence = A+ Since he is so good, his normal wait time to see him is about 3 months. However, he has several Nurse Practitioners who consult with him when needed. Physician students from around the world come to train under him. His associates are some of the best in their fields.

Yes, his office is over-crowded, but I think that is due to the lack of doctors with his expertise at Memorial City. I do not care about the spartan appearance of the waiting room. Best doctor I've ever gone to!…read more Not only does John have great bedside manner, he also knows his stuff! (Most doctors I've gone to never seem to know what's wrong -- not John.) I came in with various symptoms that could have been multiple things. Within less than 5 mins of me explaining my symptoms John was able to diagnose me with hyperthyroidism. He ran blood tests which confirmed it. When I told him I wanted to get a second opinion he happily obliged and recommended some great facilities that specialize in my case. All confirmed what he originally told me. Thanks to Johns quick diagnosis I was able to start treatment immediately. On top of that, John has always been willing to answer all of my questions. Whether I have an appointment or not, and when I randomly call the office, John always takes the time to call me back. Heck, he's even responded to texts late at night when I needed immediate help and the office was closed. I seriously couldn't imagine not having John as my doctor!
