Dealership staff are dressed, extremely casual, and don't seem to really have any sense of urgency. I did look at a couple of vehicles that were extremely dirty and had a check engine light. It seemed as though no one really cared about the vehicles that they show. I can see why now they receive such terrible reviews. I don't think I would ever shop there for a vehicle. Purchased a car, understanding it was as is spent pretty much the day there. Had an engine light which I had asked them to diagnose at the time of purchase, stated it was likely an old code and cleared the code from the car. Also had a battery light I had them check as well prior to makingnthe purchase, battery was replaced. Test drove the car again to verify nothing came back on. Came back clear spoke to the sales rep regarding a warranty they were offering. Told it was good peace of mind to purchase it and that he had one as well on his car. I decided to purchase thr Warranty after he explained the so called benifits NVP is the company's name. I paid cash for the Warranty so in the event I decided to cancel it that it was separate from the loan. 3 days later light came back on, took it to a mechanic, turns out it was the wastegate solinoid. Repair was over $600. Called the warranty, pretty much wouldn't cover anything. I went to cancel the warranty for a refund so I had cash in hand for any additional repairs. Its been 8 days since receiving my cancellation confirmation. I was just told by the dealership that the refund, still haven't recieved, will be provided to the lean holder which was entirely separate from my purchase of the warranty considering I paid out of pocket for it, also not disclosed at the time of purchase. I could have put zero down on the loan if i so chose. I was just told that it was "implied" that the refund would go back to the lean holder if I canceled the warranty, it was not. If I was told that I would have simply financed the warranty with the loan, which I could have done. My recommendation, there are plenty of dealerships out there selling used cars, find a different one that does a better job. The car itself minus the out of pocket repairs is fine to be clear, its the dealership I take issue with. They purchase most of their vehicles from auction so its a mixed bag what you are going to get and if there is an issue, dont expect them to actually diagnose the issue prior to purchase and will likely just clear the codes and roll the dice it dowsnt come back before you sign the papers. Well owned the car for 2.5 months before it gave out. Second week owning the Jeep it wouldnt start (started after 10 minutes of waiting) and this problem would occur every 100 starts. Took it to the shop the computer and technician couldnt find anything wrong. Had some battery and alternator problems at week 5 had to get both replaced. And then transmission went out at week 10. For a $5000 I was sold a lemon. They get you to give a 5 star review while youre in the dealership before you even drive off the lot. Thats why they have such a good rating. Buyer Beware*********** Only a day after purchasing our vehicle the check engine light came on and the car would not start, after having it towed to our local dealership we were told that the problem was with the cooling system and emissions after they diagnosed the problem they informed to me that the radiator was cracked and the emisions were tampered with and wiring was bypassed. Marsh only offered to cover $300 of a $2300 repair. Marsh never disclosed that there were issued that were not visibly relevant instead they deleted the error codes only to have them come back after the vehicle was purchased. We are now filing a grievance with the attorney generals office and have to go to small claims to recover our costs. what is Interesting is there are other reviews about marsh deleting codes. I purchased a 2016 Ford F150 on 3/7/25 and was told that it had a minor exhaust leak. This information was disclosed prior to me deciding to purchase said vehicle, however, the extent of the leak I feel was severely down played. I took the vehicle to a muffler shop and the exhaust issue was extensive and involved both turbos and the cadilaic converters were clogged. This alone is costing over $4,000 to fix. While at the muffler shop they also quoted for a complete brake repair that would be necessary soon. I am very disappointed in this purchase and thought that I made an informed decision when buying this. While this is ultimately on me I do hold Marsh Auto Sales partly responsible for the condition of this vehicle. Beware!!! read more

Inquired about a car yesterday, low miles and the price was fair. I ask the person on the phone if it has any known issues and why the price would be so low? In their words: "everything on it runs great, no issues, just cosmetic". I go there to test drive it and the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree. Muffler clearly needs work as well. Multiple issues. Unwilling to budge on price or negotiate, despite lying to get me in the door. 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. I wish the sales person would have been transparent on the phone and said the known issues. Your dishonesty got me in the door, but instead of a sale (I brought cash ready to buy) it's going to result in 1 star reviews on every auto website I can find today. Marsh Auto Sales LLC Currently here as we speak after a 2+hr drive. We were here last weekend to look at a 2014 Honda Ridgeline with a price sticker of $14,900, they couldn't start the car - blamed it on cold weather - battery was corroded, jumped it. Car drove nice (not due to Marsh) however, we noted all 4 tires were dry rotted and needing immediate replacement, so we asked them to drop it to $13,900 (which mind you doesn't cover all 4 tires costs) and they wouldn't budge. We still thought about it because it drove nice and asked to look under the car. They said they couldn't put it on the rack for us due to insurance risk but allowed us to take it to get looked at. The mechanic said all 4 tires need replaced, as well as all 4 steering arms, rear tie rod and axle within the next year due to rusting, as well as needing rust grinded off of the frame and recoated within the next year... All of which is over 2000 for parts alone..... So we went back with the news and asked again to come down $1000 on it, especially since it's sold "as is". No. Okay... So the week passed and we shopped around, however we still wanted that Ridgeline. So we called to see if they had sold it, surprise, they didn't. They claimed to have had a lot of interest in it (of course) and might be able to come down to the 13,900 but couldn't promise it especially over the phone. So, we made the 2+ hr drive back and test drove it again. This time, the TPMS sensor went off during the drive. They "looked at it" and said probably because it's been sitting. So once again, with cash down payment in hand and a 750+ credit score, we asked them to drop it to $13,900. While he's "checking with his manager" you can hear negotiations going on with other customers and they're lowering prices, as well as 3 people who came in complaining of previous issues of being sold a car from Marsh that ended up with huge issues, test driving a car and it suddenly having electrical issues, test driving a car where the seatbelt was torn, tire was bad and had dog hair in the back seat. So get this....he comes out and says the manager won't budge because there's an appointment on the books at 11:30 for someone to come look at it from Cleveland Ohio. They never showed. read more

I brought my Ridgeline 2 years ago from here I was excited and it was riding fine. Being a used car I expe problems as I saw a strut mount broke I went to get it repaired the mechanic told me the part attached to the strut was rusted out that I was an irreplaceable part and rusted out a long time ago. If I could give this dealer a 0 I would. I called at 10:02 this morning Thursday May 16th inquiring on a vehicle they had on their lot. I live 1.5 hours away and wanted to know some specifics about the vehicle as I had read other bad reviews about their accuracy of a vehicle. I was told I would get a call back , I called at 1:13 after I didn't get a return call and was told he was not available. I tried my last attempt around 7:08 and got in touch with another employee who asked to text for them to not respond to my question. Terrible experience and they lost a sale. This place really disappointed me. I saw they had a Jeep Compass with low miles that I had really wanted, and it was a good deal for it. I had done the pre-qualification for a loan online. I had received a call from Joey shortly after to discuss my options. Joey was great. He communicated very well and got back to me within a reasonable time. We talked for a couple of days and finally came to a good loan option for me. However, I had to get some things figured out before I gave a definite answer. I called the next day with some questions, and Joey wasn't there so I asked to speak to someone else. I was told she was busy and would give me a call back later. Later came, and still no call back. I called again. Was told she was busy and I would get a call from her shortly (I never got a call from her). I decided to go to the dealership that same day and check out the car and see if I could talk to this lady in person. I get there and ask to take a test drive and the guy pulls it up for me. I get in the car and am immediately slapped in the face with a disgusting odor. It smelt like garbage and it was also extremely dirty. The back seat had cigarette ash everywhere. The front dash had dirt all over. There was a sticky substance on the side panel. The ceiling of it was disgusting and dirty. The car wasn't driving right either. After I could no longer bare the stench, I headed back to the dealership. The guy asked how it was and we told him how it was. It was disgusting and smelt gross and he acted surprised. Mind you he got in the car before we did to drive it to the front of the building, so he had to have smelt it too and seen how dirty it was. He said "oh I guess it needs a "re clean" . I don't think it was ever cleaned in the first place and I also don't think it was inspected considering some of the carpet was coming up as well. I was super bummed out because It was the car I had really wanted. I think it was really unprofessional on Marsh Auto Sales part for letting their potential customers to get into cars like that. Recently purchased a truck here for about $40,000 I was excited, it was just the truck I was looking for. Unfortunately this place had a lot of red flags that I chose to ignore. I should have had a mechanic look the truck over but again.. my fault. Long story short it needs $3,000 worth of brake pads, rotors and calipers. Dealership is saying the calipers are seized up. Got the truck with 0% oil life. Who knows how long it was used past the oil life. It had 5% def fluid. 0% fuel filter BUT the engine ran great during the test drive. It was just heavily neglected. Most dealership will at least change the oil or change the fluids. After all it's a $40,000 truck.. I think the owner of this place needs to care about his customers a little more. I spoke with a few employees and these people aren't even commission based. Big lot.. lots of nice vehicles but be weary they are ALL purchased at auctions in Canada. May 2021 I bought a 2009 Ford Ranger. The description said "solid", "good tires". I did an inspection before buying and found some rust under the driver side. Couldn't poke a hole through with my finger but now a few months later a huge hole under my seat. They also painted over the rest of the rust areas which has since worn off. The truck is full of rust...FAR FROM SOLID. Shortly, after purchasing I took it to my mechanic. He said the tires were rubbing on the suspension. He said the wheel rims were the wrong size. I took it to discount tire and purchased new rims but they told me they could not put the tires on them because they were from 2005! They said it is illegal to put old tires on a vehicle. Now there is something wrong with the front end. After spending $9,000 on this truck it should last longer than a few months. The owner and manager and any other employee who knows they are ripping people off should be in prison! MARSH AUTO SALES ARE SCAMMERS.
