Smaller Marriott property but nice. There is no valet at this location which I thought was a little unusual, or at least there wasn't one during our stay there. There is a large parking garage just across from the main entrance so parking wasn't an issue and I honestly prefer to self park anyway. The girl at the front desk checked us in quickly and was friendly, however, did not go through any of the elite member benefits aside from late checkout (F&B credit, lounge access, complimentary wifi, welcome gift, etc) and o ended up having to use the chat function to ask about all of those things. There was a pool and fitness center along with a club lounge for elite members to enjoy breakfast in the morning along with snacks and beverages throughout the day. The room was large and well up-kept, however, it had a strong musty smell and some of the pillowcases has brown stains on them which led me to wonder if they had actually changed them or simply made the bed without changing anything. Overall a pleasant stay but given the stained pillowcases, musty smell, and lack of info given at check-in it's a 4/5 for me. Burnt sweet potato fries

We arrived a little early, and since there were rooms available, we chose to wait for one on the same floor as our event. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. There's ample parking if you're driving a car, but unfortunately, my truck didn't fit in the garage. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds were great, and once I figured out the lighting, it was easy to manage. The key cards, however, were frustrating -- they became desensitized very easily. The staff also wasn't familiar with how to activate the mobile key through the app, which would have been more convenient. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey for a buffet. The food was hot and fresh, though I would've appreciated more non-pork options. Unfortunately, lunch was a completely different experience. We were seated in the back by the manager, Hans, who never told the server we were there. As a result, we were ignored while several tables that arrived after us were served first. After waiting about 30 minutes just to place an order -- and another 30 for the food to arrive -- we were late returning to our event. The food finally came out cold, dry, with incorrect orders, and one plate even had burned fries. When we brought it up to Hans, he simply shrugged his shoulders, walked away, and said nothing. His dismissive attitude was unacceptable, especially from someone in hospitality. To make matters worse, he was there again the next morning and was just as rude. Later that day, we tried using the hotel's chat function to request a late check-out, but after waiting over an hour with no response, we ended up checking out through the app. As if that wasn't enough, all of the elevators broke down, forcing seniors and elderly guests to wait for a struggling service elevator while others had to walk down multiple flights of stairs from the 10th floor. For an upscale hotel, I expected a much higher standard of service and maintenance. While the rooms and front desk staff were nice, the poor dining experience, lack of responsiveness, and elevator issues overshadowed the good. I truly hope management addresses these issues -- especially the behavior of the restaurant manager -- to match the level of quality this hotel brand is known for.

Black mold, rm 603 bathroom.

The hotel seems fine on the exterior, and even in the lobby. However our room had black mold all over the ceiling in the bathroom which made us sick after our trip. While in the lobby one night, we saw a fire sprinkler fall from the high ceiling and hit the floor. Also during our stay, a friend of ours was trapped in the elevator for 30 mins. After that the elevator was roped off for the rest of our stay. Then another elevator would not take anyone up, staying on ground level with doors open. So there was only one working elevator. The Westin nearby is much better. Stay there.

A real test of a hotel is how it handles mishaps. Soon after arrival the guest elevators malfunctioned, but the staff had it taken care of in the time it took for us to ride down the service elevator, walk to a nearby restaurant to have dinner and return. Like everyone else they are a bit short-staffed on housekeeping, when they do service the room, it's good. I suggest to all hotel chains, pay your housekeeping staff better, treat them better. They sometimes had water to drink in the lobby, sometimes they had coffee. On one side of the hotel, facing east, is a beautiful view of Ben Carpenter's lake and lake walk. You should know this hotel is certainly not in Dallas, it's Irving Texas and a short walk from the DART Orange line which connects to the airport Terminal A. Otherwise Uber is $40. The DART, which is clean and convenient is only $3.00. In that way the location is good, it was a good hotel for a medium sized conference. Room was set up well for working, Internet good if a Bonvoy member, bathroom and bed all comfortable, plenty of charging plugs. The hotel restaurant and all area restaurants are expensive, and mostly not that good. If it weren't for the conference I think I would prefer to stay in Dallas, a city that has some great museums. Here in Irving, Urban Center area, the local restaurants get overwhelmed where there is an event at the Music Factory, but don't forget the proximity to the Orange Line. I have three great irrational fears from childhood, clowns, mermaids, and cheerleaders. This hotel was overrun with cheerleaders. Scantily clad blond children wearing too much makeup and glitter screeching, running, jumping, being judgmental, accompanied by their insane mothers. Not the hotel's fault, but I found solace in a 1.7 mile walk to the Cisternian Monastery, initially along part of the lake walk. I would not recommend this hotel during a cheerleader event but otherwise it's a good place. I initially assigned four stars but found out they don't recycle here. The room recycling bin is fake.

This hotel has beautiful lake view. If possible ask for a room with that view. You can rent a gondola, pedal boat, swan/duckie pedal boat nearby. You can jog or have a nice walk around the lake. It's so tranquil and relaxing. From the hotel, it's a short walk to the Mustangs of Las Colinas. The lobby is huge, the hotel has three elevators so you don't have to wait long. The gym and the pool are on the first floor on the left when you enter the lobby. The gym is large and has a lot of exercise equipment and machines: cable machine, leg press, chest press, rowing machine, and pull down. It also has several elliptical machines and treadmills. I spent hours working out in the gym. This is definitely one of my favorite hotel gym. Minor note: the rowing machine screen didn't work. I called for service and the front desk replaced the battery. Unfortunately the battery was not new so it still didn't solve the problem. Another note was that the pin for the light weight of the cable machine was very hard to insert. I definitely recommend this hotel. It's not far from the airport and Dallas. I could see Dallas in a distance from my room.

I tagged along with my husband on a business trip to Dallas and stayed at Marriott's Dallas Las Colinas property. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of my husband's project as well as surrounded by plenty of dining establishments, with quick access to the highway. Parking was ample. With my husband being a DV, we were able to find accessible parking, so I wasn't able to see the parking garage. The facility is very modern in the DOWNSTAIRS lobby, and the elevators, although slow, were functioning. But that's where the positives end. The receptionist said she would add the stay to my Bonvoy account but didn't. Though I've been able to add my account at check-in at numerous locations (when they were booked by clients or reps), I understand if a certain property doesn't allow it, but there's never any reason to lie to a customer. Our first room was fine enough. I noticed some dated furnishings and odd streaks on the wall. It resembled spray cleaner streaks running through grime, but it wasn't glaringly obvious. The room was a good size, as well. It had two small sitting spaces with a couch and a chair in front of a large window. We went out to dinner and asked the front desk for a late checkout (since I'm a Bonvoy Elite member, and that's one of the perks). The employee tried to tell us it wasn't possible until he saw my status, then allowed a 2PM checkout. He "updated" our cards, and we went to dinner. When we returned, we stopped by the bar for cocktails. A gin Rickey and smoked old-fashioned, with tip, cost us $50. We headed upstairs to shower and settle in, and that's when the excitement started. Our updated keys didn't work, so we had to go back downstairs to get them reprogrammed. There wasn't much apology; the employee blamed it on the computer instead. I was showering and hubby used the toilet. When he flushed it, he left the bathroom, and as I was rinsing off, I noticed water pooling on the bathroom floor. I thought the shower door allowed water to flow on the floor until I saw water POURING out of the toilet. My husband rushed in with shoes and helped me out of the bathroom safely, then called the front desk to have someone come up. He also asked for them to bring keys to a new room. It took 10 minutes for someone to arrive and another 10 minutes before my husband went down there and got the keys himself. We had packed our stuff and were sitting there waiting the entire time. While they did give us a room on the same floor, the new one was absolutely rundown and gross. Yes, it offered a (man-made) lake view, but it was smaller and dingy. Outlets were patched in, stains from water damage on the roof and walls (I guess toilets overflow a lot here), and mildew on the shower roof made it cringe-worthy. The nail in the coffin was the amount of noise the walls and ceiling let in. I could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and doing nearly everything. Breakfast the next day cost us $75 for cold toast, unseasoned scrambled eggs, soggy hashbrowns, and burnt bacon. This has to be one of the worst Marriotts I've stayed in, and I won't be returning.

I was here for three nights attending a convention with three coworkers. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable with four nice pillows. There was a mini fridge, a flat screen TV that was easy to operate and plenty of storage space, but no microwave. The bathroom was modern and showed no sign of mold or wear. The shower blasted out plenty of hot water. Although, to be honest, I'm not usually a fan of carpeting, I'd rather have laminate flooring that can be better cleaned. There was daily maid service which was nice On the 15th floor, they have a concierge that opens at 5:30 where you can gather with friends to watch one of several flat screens or just enjoy the view. There is an offering usually of nachos and some munchables, however there is a small limited amount of alcoholic choices that you can purchase. In the main lobby they have a well-stocked bar and very knowledgeable staff. They also have a menu to order from. There is a dining area adjacent to the bar where you can also have breakfast. Definitely a place I would stay again. Photos in review spell out the rest.

Awesome hotel with great amenities! The view from the balcony was amazing and for being in Dallas it was surprising quiet and peaceful!

Wife and I stayed here for NYE for the weekend with a private group. We were both impressed with the friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is cleaned, has a spacious lobby with nice bar, restaurant and elevators worked and didn't keep us waiting. The drinks at the bar were expensive but considering it was a New Years I guess that is norm, the quality of the food looked fresh and tasteful. Our king room was spacious, nice pullout sofa couch, comfy bed with fully pillows, desk with chair and big nice window. Bathroom is spacious and it's nice shower. We definitely had a pleasant experience and stay. Also conveniently located within walking distance of the Toyota Music Factory and restaurants

It also has a little known coffee shop called Over The Counter that is a nice hole-in-the-wall that is a perfect place to grab a nice cup of coffee and view of Lake Caroyln. This review is for Over The Counter. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - You'll find Over The Counter to the right of the check-in desk within the Omni Hotel. This coffee shop is a hidden gem because of the amazing views of Lake Carolyn and the Omni Hotel pool. This is a great spot if you're looking for a place to work while waiting for your Uber to head to the airport. The seats against the window have power outlets to charge your devices. It's quiet, not to busy, and even if you're not staying at the Omni Hotel a great place to grab a cup of coffee. Service - The Omni Hotel staff is very nice. Like most coffee shops, you'll place your order, customize it, and a barista will expertly craft your cup of coffee. On my visit, they asked what kind of milk I wanted (2%), and when I needed help with the Wi-Fi, they were super helpful in getting me online. 1 Star. Coffee - The coffee is nice and strong. My iced latte was smooth and had me buzzing. I had to sip it to ensure I prep for my meeting. I can't stress how awesome it is to enjoy a dup of coffee in a nice setting with an amazing view. My only minor feedback is that Over The Counter is in a the Omni Hotel, so expect to pay a little extra. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Now that I've discovered Over the Counter, I can imagine myself coming here on occasion to do work or conduct professional meetings. If you're staying at the Omni Hotel in Las Colinas, you should stop by. 1 Star.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Irving Las Colinas offered exactly that: a soft landing when we needed it most. Traveling as a group: my mother, my husband, our 12-year-old son, and myself can make spontaneity tricky. But the ease of securing a suite that could accommodate all of us felt like a small victory in the midst of an otherwise hectic day. From the moment we arrived, the tone shifted. The front desk agent greeted us with a warmth that felt genuine rather than scripted, and what could have been a routine check-in became something more thoughtful. One particularly welcome feature: the ability to choose our room. With her guidance, we landed on a space that felt tailored to our needs rather than assigned at random. The property itself struck a careful balance between polished and inviting. It was clean, well-maintained, and subtly festive an Easter-themed backdrop in the lobby offered families a chance to pause and capture the moment, a detail that felt both intentional and charming. Our suite delivered on every front. Spacious without feeling excessive, it featured a king bed alongside a pullout sofa perfect for our son plus a small kitchenette and dining table that quickly became his gaming station for the evening. It's these small, functional touches that make a short stay feel seamless. Later, I made my way downstairs for the evening reception. The bartender, navigating a steady crowd with admirable efficiency, kept things moving despite the rush. While the drink selection was modest, the atmosphere carried a convivial energy that made up for it guests unwinding, conversations flowing, the quiet hum of shared travel stories. I also found a pocket of calm in the lobby, where I was able to catch up on work another reminder that this is a hotel designed with real-life travelers in mind. We didn't have time to explore every amenity, but the overall impression was clear: refreshed, thoughtfully updated, and quietly dependable. In the end, it was exactly what we needed a comfortable, well-timed stay that turned a stressful detour into something unexpectedly pleasant.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above? The room featured a small kitchen, which I didn't get to use, but I could see how this would be comfortable for a longer stay. There was also an on-site laundry that worked really well, although it was hard to find because there were no signs and it was inside the fitness center. I didn't use the pool or fitness center, but they looked well-maintained. The only real problem with this hotel was how thin the walls were. I needed to go to bed early (think 8pm), and I could clearly hear the people talking in the next room. It wasn't just a loud TV - they were just talking, not even shouting. It was so loud that I could hear them even over the air conditioner fan running and my white noise app on my phone at almost full volume. If all of that was turned off, it was almost as if they were in the room with me. I have never quite experienced a room with that little soundproofing. It was a bummer for a hotel that I got exclusively to sleep in. If I could do half stars, I'd probably do 3.5, but for everything else, I am rounding up. Also, the breakfast on weekends doesn't start until 7am, which feels a bit late for an airport hotel where people often have early flights, but they did offer coffee!

What I did not know was that the Illustrious Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated -- the ABSOLUTELY BEST sorority ever -- were also having ceremonies that night. Beautiful for them, chaotic for me. I pulled up expecting valet, only to be told valet was reserved exclusively for the AKAs that evening. Now listen... I respect it. If anybody's going to get special treatment, it's the ladies in pink and green. But for me? Whew. That meant I started driving... and driving... and driving. Forty minutes, y'all. FORTY. Between the restaurants, the event, and the already limited parking, it was a full scavenger hunt with no treasure. I finally tried the parking deck -- only to discover it ends abruptly at the top with no turnaround space. No warning signs, no heads-up, nothing. And because it's Girl Scout cookie season, I'm in our extended Escalade. Picture me at the top of this deck, realizing I have to reverse all the way back down. I could've cried. Actually, I did cry. My daughter is in the back asking if she's still going to the party, and I'm trying to be brave while my anxiety is sky-high. I went back to valet, desperate, and they basically said, "It's just a bad night for parking." At this point, I'm ready to cancel everything and go home. I called the front desk and spoke with a woman named Miccah (I hope I'm spelling that right). She was so calm and reassuring. She told me there were 12 underground parking spaces available, so I felt a little better. I drove down there... and there were only two spots left -- both for electric vehicles. And the elevator? Not working. Now I'm underground, no reception, no parking, no elevator, and a 9‑year‑old with me. I drove back up and called Miccah again like, "Girl, just cancel this. I can't do this. I've been circling this place for 40 minutes." And then -- the turning point. She said, "My manager is walking outside right now. He's going to move his car so you can have his parking space." When I tell you Alexander came outside and did EXACTLY that... that man was a blessing. He moved his own car so I could park safely and get my daughter to her sleepover. That is customer service times 1,000. When I checked in, I told him I felt like I was about to pass out. He said, "Ms. Page, don't pass out, don't pass out -- do you need a Coke?" And he actually brought me one. The kindness, the attentiveness, the humanity -- it meant everything after the ordeal I'd just been through. Because of Miccah and Alexander, what started as a nightmare turned into a stay I will never forget. Hilton, keep them. Celebrate them. Promote them. They are the reason I didn't break down in that parking lot. But Hilton... please fix that parking situation. It was truly ridiculous. And to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated -- the absolutely BEST sorority ever -- congratulations on your ceremonies. Y'all looked beautiful, and I love that the hotel rolled out the pink-and-green carpet for you. I just wish the parking deck had rolled out a little grace for the rest of us too. Thank you to Miccah and Alexander for rescuing my night and making my daughter's first sleepover a success.

If you're sensitive to noise, like I am, bring earplugs. Food and bar: there's a little bar in the lobby that serves good drinks and food. Nothing fancy, but very convenient, especially if you don't want to have to drive to a restaurant. The breakfast buffet is one of the better ones I've had. Lots of choices that change through the week. Also, if you have an early flight they have a continental breakfast that starts at 3am. Service: this is where the hotel really shines. The service is exceptional! I found all staff the be friendly and helpful. In particular Helen and Benny were wonderful and went above and beyond to make my stay a great one. Hats off to them! This will be my go to hotel when I am in the area.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Homewood Suites - Irving Las Colinas from January 30 to February…read more2, and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Check-in was a mess. The front desk agent could not find my reservation even after I showed it on my phone. Once she finally located it, she realized she had checked my reservation in under another guest's name and credit card, which is extremely unprofessional and concerning. She then had to call that guest back to fix the mistake. Even worse, the manager ended up checking me into the same room as that other guest, making it appear that two people were checked into the same room at once. That alone is a serious security and privacy issue. During our stay, the elevator stopped working and was out of service for two full days, forcing us to use the stairs the entire time, which was very inconvenient. The property itself is very outdated and in poor condition. The building smelled strongly of mold and cigarette smoke, which made the stay uncomfortable. In the bathroom, there were multiple earwig bugs coming in and out of a hole in the wall, which was unacceptable from a cleanliness standpoint. To top it off, our room only had one set of towels, even though the reservation was clearly for two adults. This hotel does not meet Hilton standards in any way. Poor management, cleanliness issues, maintenance problems, and serious check-in errors made this one of the worst hotel stays we've had. I would not recommend this location.

The staff members here are amazing and they accommodated me really well. The best thing about this…read morehotel is the location. You are minutes away from shopping centers and restaurants. The bad thing about this Homewood suites would be the layout of the premises. Depending on your room you are hauling your luggage up, down, and around to many steps. I am guessing at some point, the premises had to have been an apartment complex, or possibly a school dormitory. One unit has elevators and other units have nothing but steps. This can be a pain when you have luggage. Another complaint I have is with room 238. Bedroom outlet doesn't work, and there's no clock in the room. The decor is outdated and the unit could definitely use a refresher.
