Kitchen area in room
Michele H.

The people were great here. The place was well kept and the little market area is great and well stocked. The rooms are large the only disappointing things were the heater in room never kicked in until 68 and turned off at 70. Which made it chilly in the room because outside weather was 13 degrees. Also there were no washcloths in the room to use. Thought it was weird but I just pulled out my emergency washcloth. Yes I carry an extra one just in case. The shampoo and body wash in the shower is a plus.

Overall the property is in very good shape, is well maintained and is a "better" property as far as good better best goes. I had no issues at all except one which is being self-admittedly a little bit overly picky and it's just the corners in my bathroom weren't totally spotless but clean as it could be otherwise and the housekeeping is stellar. My only mention is that it's probably time to deep clean all carpeting or replace it. It's near that point with multiple stains on floor 2 in the halls.

Delicious breakfast buffet with some high-end options

Such a convenient hotel full of incredible amenities so close to the airport! 5 out of five for sure! If you're traveling during the weekdays they have a shuttle service from the airport as well. It may not run on the weekends unfortunately, but you can save for business trips this would be perfect. When I say amenities I'm not kidding. The complimentary snack selection left in the room was unreal and something I don't think I've ever experienced even in another identical hotel. It honestly saved me as I was staying overnight getting in at 10:00 and needing to get a flight the next day. The idea of trying to find food at that time of night made me just think I would turn in instead and suck it up. But then I went in in the room head not only several types of candy bars, but in my case trail mix and an actual bag of popcorn to pop in the microwave! They even had a Pellegrino as well as a few sodas in the fridge and a couple normal bottles of water. The coffee uses a Keurig with several options left to pick from. The rooms themselves were very clean and seemed recently refreshed. The roller blind over the windows that blocked most of the light was something I wish all hotels would do! And then to top it off the curtain that slid through the middle of the room to block off the bed from the seating area if somebody was staying up was such a neat touch. The kitchen itself with the ability to borrow and range top from downstairs had all the amenities you could want to stay here and actually cook. (Plus apparently they replenish the snacks everyday according to their little sign). Overall amazing staff that was delightful and made a weary delayed flight not seem like such a bad deal after all. I will definitely be sure to hit this place up anytime I need to stay in the DFW area.

I could NOT wait to write this review. We flew into DFW late so we decided to get a hotel room for the night and drive home in the morning. Well, we were not expecting to fall in love with this hotel like we did! We ended up extending and staying a second night. The outside of this hotel is SO cute! When you walk up to the front entrance, there's a cozy area with outdoor seating, a fire pit (with a fire going!) and outdoor lights. The lobby is so colorful and the entire hotel looks brand new! There's a 24 hour coffee and tea bar- score! They offer free breakfast too which seems hard to find these days. The employee at the front desk was super sweet and welcoming. The rooms have everything you need! Kitchenette, couch, desk, mini fridge, microwave, LOTS of storage, and a nice size TV! The bathroom is nice too and has 6 towels instead of the normal 3-4, good quality shampoo and body wash machines in the shower (now I can lather super well instead of worrying about running out of my tiny bottle), makeup wipe, and hooks for your towels! All of these things are really hard to come by in a hotel. Breakfast is included in your stay and is a bit scaled down (I'm assuming due to COVID) but it was still filling. Everything was individually wrapped so you don't have to worry about dirty hands in your food. They offered cereal, yogurt, bagels, fruit, boiled eggs, juice, milk and coffee. The bagels were delicious! They have an on-site laundry facility, pool, gym, and little store to buy drinks and other necessities. They do not have an ATM, just FYI. They offer free parking which is awesome! The absolute BEST part of this hotel is the price! Two nights was less than $200! I don't think I'll ever stay at another hotel that's not a Home2Suites. After having bad luck with hotels on vacation this week, it was so refreshing to find this hotel. You can always count on a nice hotel when staying with Hilton.

Good breakfast!

If you're in Irving you should definitely stay here. The breakfast had a lot of great options including this cute Texas shaped waffle. They sold some snacks and beverages throughout the day. If you aren't driving, the nearest restaurant isn't the best walk but it's doable. The shuttle driver went above and beyond to help me. The room was very spacious with An really big refrigerator, which is hard to find in most hotels.

This hotel was fantastic! It was close to the DFW airport and has a shuttle. The people here know customer service. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and just loved their jobs. The rooms were spacious and clean. I booked a meeting space here as well and the staff made sure everything was perfect and refreshments were stocked. Perfect stay!

One big room with curtains divider

It's clean and basic. I wouldn't necessarily come back again for my next visit to DFW north, but for the price they were available, they deserve 4 stars. I heard about Home 2 Suites by Hilton, brand has been around several years now but this location is pretty new, just about a year old. As a frequent Hilton hhonors member, I thought I would try once to see what it is like. Upon check in, they had a bottle of water and choice of snack for a diamond member. Similar to Hampton Inn. Lobby is very clean and simple, reminded of me European budget hotels. Nice size gym is available 24/7 with a room key. Free breakfast is always nice. All the rooms is suites. Small shower, minimal bathroom amenity, they said "environmentally friendly". Nice size kitchen with full size fridge, stove, ceramic dishes, ideal for long-term travelers. No closet with a door. Closet has curtains. A divider between living area and beds also has curtains. It doesn't really separate bed area and living area. Just one big room. Front desk staff was very friendly. Good internet speed. Ample of electric outlets, very clean. It was just so simple, I would have enjoyed more amenity for my comfort. No complains for the price I paid per night, yet again I would have liked more traditional hotel amenity but those who doesn't need, this hotel is perfect.

Great hotel! Super cute, modern and eco friendly!? Super nice staff, rooms are spacious and very clean. Bathroom is a little and door doesn't lock but it's still a great hotel. Will definitely stay at again.

It also has a little known coffee shop called Over The Counter that is a nice hole-in-the-wall that is a perfect place to grab a nice cup of coffee and view of Lake Caroyln. This review is for Over The Counter. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Coffee, Return) Atmosphere - You'll find Over The Counter to the right of the check-in desk within the Omni Hotel. This coffee shop is a hidden gem because of the amazing views of Lake Carolyn and the Omni Hotel pool. This is a great spot if you're looking for a place to work while waiting for your Uber to head to the airport. The seats against the window have power outlets to charge your devices. It's quiet, not to busy, and even if you're not staying at the Omni Hotel a great place to grab a cup of coffee. Service - The Omni Hotel staff is very nice. Like most coffee shops, you'll place your order, customize it, and a barista will expertly craft your cup of coffee. On my visit, they asked what kind of milk I wanted (2%), and when I needed help with the Wi-Fi, they were super helpful in getting me online. 1 Star. Coffee - The coffee is nice and strong. My iced latte was smooth and had me buzzing. I had to sip it to ensure I prep for my meeting. I can't stress how awesome it is to enjoy a dup of coffee in a nice setting with an amazing view. My only minor feedback is that Over The Counter is in a the Omni Hotel, so expect to pay a little extra. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Now that I've discovered Over the Counter, I can imagine myself coming here on occasion to do work or conduct professional meetings. If you're staying at the Omni Hotel in Las Colinas, you should stop by. 1 Star.

Sometimes the best travel decisions are the ones made under pressure…read more After an Airbnb stay that didn't quite deliver, my family and I found ourselves in need of a last-minute reset something reliable, comfortable, and, most importantly, close to the airport ahead of an early departure. Embassy Suites by Hilton Irving Las Colinas offered exactly that: a soft landing when we needed it most. Traveling as a group: my mother, my husband, our 12-year-old son, and myself can make spontaneity tricky. But the ease of securing a suite that could accommodate all of us felt like a small victory in the midst of an otherwise hectic day. From the moment we arrived, the tone shifted. The front desk agent greeted us with a warmth that felt genuine rather than scripted, and what could have been a routine check-in became something more thoughtful. One particularly welcome feature: the ability to choose our room. With her guidance, we landed on a space that felt tailored to our needs rather than assigned at random. The property itself struck a careful balance between polished and inviting. It was clean, well-maintained, and subtly festive an Easter-themed backdrop in the lobby offered families a chance to pause and capture the moment, a detail that felt both intentional and charming. Our suite delivered on every front. Spacious without feeling excessive, it featured a king bed alongside a pullout sofa perfect for our son plus a small kitchenette and dining table that quickly became his gaming station for the evening. It's these small, functional touches that make a short stay feel seamless. Later, I made my way downstairs for the evening reception. The bartender, navigating a steady crowd with admirable efficiency, kept things moving despite the rush. While the drink selection was modest, the atmosphere carried a convivial energy that made up for it guests unwinding, conversations flowing, the quiet hum of shared travel stories. I also found a pocket of calm in the lobby, where I was able to catch up on work another reminder that this is a hotel designed with real-life travelers in mind. We didn't have time to explore every amenity, but the overall impression was clear: refreshed, thoughtfully updated, and quietly dependable. In the end, it was exactly what we needed a comfortable, well-timed stay that turned a stressful detour into something unexpectedly pleasant.

However the bathroom sinks may just be an elaborate prank pulled on every guest of this hotel. There are many photos already on here, but the pictures don't do it justice. The sink is approximately 7" x 12", and has a mirror jutting out over a portion of it, leaving you with roughly 4-5" of functional sink space. This will be the smallest sink you've ever used in your life (and I've spent lots of time in NYC and Chicago, where I've used some very small sinks). Need to wash your hands? You're getting water on your feet. Shave? Better wear a bathing suit. Wash your face? A wetsuit is recommended. Accidentally turn the water on too high when doing any of the above? What I did not know was that the Illustrious Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated -- the ABSOLUTELY BEST sorority ever -- were also having ceremonies that night. Beautiful for them, chaotic for me. I pulled up expecting valet, only to be told valet was reserved exclusively for the AKAs that evening. Now listen... I respect it. If anybody's going to get special treatment, it's the ladies in pink and green. But for me? Whew. That meant I started driving... and driving... and driving. Forty minutes, y'all. FORTY. Between the restaurants, the event, and the already limited parking, it was a full scavenger hunt with no treasure. I finally tried the parking deck -- only to discover it ends abruptly at the top with no turnaround space. No warning signs, no heads-up, nothing. And because it's Girl Scout cookie season, I'm in our extended Escalade. Picture me at the top of this deck, realizing I have to reverse all the way back down. I could've cried. Actually, I did cry. My daughter is in the back asking if she's still going to the party, and I'm trying to be brave while my anxiety is sky-high. I went back to valet, desperate, and they basically said, "It's just a bad night for parking." At this point, I'm ready to cancel everything and go home. I called the front desk and spoke with a woman named Miccah (I hope I'm spelling that right). She was so calm and reassuring. She told me there were 12 underground parking spaces available, so I felt a little better. I drove down there... and there were only two spots left -- both for electric vehicles. And the elevator? Not working. Now I'm underground, no reception, no parking, no elevator, and a 9‑year‑old with me. I drove back up and called Miccah again like, "Girl, just cancel this. I can't do this. I've been circling this place for 40 minutes." And then -- the turning point. She said, "My manager is walking outside right now. He's going to move his car so you can have his parking space." When I tell you Alexander came outside and did EXACTLY that... that man was a blessing. He moved his own car so I could park safely and get my daughter to her sleepover. That is customer service times 1,000. When I checked in, I told him I felt like I was about to pass out. He said, "Ms. Page, don't pass out, don't pass out -- do you need a Coke?" And he actually brought me one. The kindness, the attentiveness, the humanity -- it meant everything after the ordeal I'd just been through. Because of Miccah and Alexander, what started as a nightmare turned into a stay I will never forget. Hilton, keep them. Celebrate them. Promote them. They are the reason I didn't break down in that parking lot. But Hilton... please fix that parking situation. It was truly ridiculous. And to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated -- the absolutely BEST sorority ever -- congratulations on your ceremonies. Y'all looked beautiful, and I love that the hotel rolled out the pink-and-green carpet for you. I just wish the parking deck had rolled out a little grace for the rest of us too. Thank you to Miccah and Alexander for rescuing my night and making my daughter's first sleepover a success.
