(I react badly to psych. meds) This dr. was the only one that stuck with it until something worked and supported me during many in patient stints and a Alcohol abuse problem that arose (many of us will self medicate to ease the pain of depression.) They even got me genetic testing to test for meds that would work for me instead of having me suffer as one med failed and then another. After reading some of the reviews below I feel the need to mention this: NEVER have I seen his staff act in an inappropriate manner and God knows I gave them enough Lip on the phone for their phone system or waiting to long. Let's face it us that have suffered for so long with our conditions sometimes can get triggered by a glance our way. In any of those occasions the Staff, office manager and especially Nurse Nancy and Dr. Pradeep Thapar have talked me down and found a solution and solace during that bad time. As far as them only wanting to prescribe high priced meds and take your money as mentioned, Nurse Nancy knew I could not afford the Pricy naltrexone shot for alcohol abuse after another release from treatment and was worried I would relapse. She called all her connections to get Naltrexone I could afford for me. Now does that sound like price gougers to you? If you want a REAL doctor that WILL find the right med and treatment, they never give up on you, then call this office and don't look back they will give you hope.
