His workers carefully painted over the cans the "INT"erior and when I told them to leave the left over paint once finished, they were reluctant. I found out why! Fernando was exceptional -- his pricing was honest and competitive, his professionalism was evident from day one, and the quality of his work truly speaks for itself. The exterior came out absolutely beautiful. We were so impressed that we didn't hesitate to ask Fernando for an estimate on our kitchen and cabinets. The attention to detail on the cabinet work alone was remarkable. What also stood out was how smooth the entire process was from beginning to end. That kind of seamless coordination from the first phone call all the way to the final brush stroke is rare, and XAS Painting nailed it. I had just ordered my door and thought it would be available to be stained real soon. The sales team at the door place forgot to mention that ordering doors is a multi-month ordeal. Paintmasters educated me on the process of new doors, installing them, staining them, etc. The people I talked with there were friendly and funny and never gave me the sense that I was a pain. Finally, the door arrived. The next day I was down at Paintmaster's office to get my door stained the exact tint and color I wanted. With the help of a painter, I described the color, he showed me some examples, and he made the exact (I mean that, no compromise or settling) door I wanted to spend my money on. Customer service couldn't be better than it is here, and to top that off, the work is beautiful quality, too.

My house was long overdue for new exterior paint, and there were definite signs of peeling paint…read moreand dry rot especially along the side and back of house. I used the Yelp app and met with 4 painters. One was booked until Nov, one declined the bid since he was paint only and limited carpentry, one gave a really high bid, and then there was Felix who we eventually chose. Felix was perhaps the most transparent in terms of work scope and he took the time to measure and estimate how much wood and siding would be needed. He also has teams of both carpenters and painters so he does dry rot repair and painting. They also use ladders with fall protection for the high places, as opposed to scaffolds which would of course add more cost. The whole job took 2 weeks - 4 days of prep, and 3 days of painting using mostly sprays and hand painting of siding. Very professional job and 5 stars: 1. Daily communications by text and updates 2. Thorough covering of windows and doors 3. Clean work area after each day 4. Extra credit for getting rid of loose wiring, the previous owner's dish, and fixing a broken gate 5. Honest and transparent pricing - we had a change order since during prep, more dry rot was found than at first glance. Highly recommend Felix for your exterior wood repair and painting needs.
