She showed us options, answered all our questions, gave us direction when asked, and made the process easy. Amber came out and installed our blinds and shades. She did a fantastic job! I could tell immediately she knew exactly what she was doing and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently she did the installations. We got motorized shades for the bedroom (which we love!) and she patiently took the time to explain the remote, the phone app, cleaning instructions and answered every question we had. This company understands the meaning of great service and competent and professional employees. We are very happy with the quality of the product and the experience we had. The service was highly knowledgeable, staff was warm and friendly, and the selection was great. When I later examined blinds at big box stores and other stores, I saw the quality differences in the blinds. Hunter Douglas blinds were clearly superior. Although the price point is higher, I knew that the installation would also be superior. I was right. This is a family business, and everyone involved in my purchase and installation was professional and friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with them. My new shades immediately helped block the cold January temperatures, and they look awesome.

    I wish I could write a positive review about this company but I cannot. After ordering $2800 of…read moreblinds with two cornices, upon delivery of the blinds, they misordered the size for my main doors and celing to floor windows, and had to reorder those. Then, the color they recommended, which was more of an ivory, looks terrible next to my white cabinets in my kitchen. I had asked the designer to recommend the best blind color seeing my decor, and she assured me the cream would look really great and soften the look. Well, she was wrong in that a blind with whiter undertones was absolutely what should have been ordred, not ivory since my cabinets were WHITE. When I called to tell them they don't look good next to my cabinets and that I took their recommendation, they said it was my mistake, I shouldn't have ordered them. When I said I took Katie, the designer's recommendation, they said it didn't matter, it was my decision and they would not exchange them. When I asked if they would consider a break on two cornices to cover the cream strip near the white cabinets above the blinds, they said NO. This was your fault and we will not give you any concessions. HRMPHHH. Go to Lowes or somewhere else to avoid this company. For the limited number of items I order for $3000, I could have bought from a much better company that actually knew what to design, and treats their customers with respect and understanding.

They wanted to start me with $10 dollars an hour (which I was okay with)... Because they said after 90 days you will get a raise. After 9 months I was working very hard and they gave me 30 cents even though I finished 40 draperies every day. It wasn't that difficult of a job, it was a very dark company because everyone there started to bully me and gave me a hard time. Every single day. Starting from the owner and ending with youngest person working there. They started to think I was recording them, but now looking back I wish I did, but I just wanted to let them know I was there to work and not for any high school drama. But again the boss wasn't very peaceful about this all together. just wanted me to have no say and quit. After that the boss started to put my friends against me, again I started to have patience. For them it was enough, they found themselves in a big serious problem. After we worked 3 months overtime the boss took a vacation for about a week and after she came back on April 1st 2019. she talked to my supervisor and everyone and made a plan to fire me without no reason. She turned the lights off (they didn't want me to catch them doing the dirty works). and she called me in the office. Saying " I have to let you go, because you sowed four draperies together before six months ago and you hurt Linda and Cathy". Which that wasn't the truth in the first place! What I'm saying in this review is the truth ..... This place is like HELL I need to let everyone know , if your interested in this job watch out .... Because it's too much to deal with. I NEVER MISSED day and they NEVER gave me a vacation.

    A NIGHTMARE!!! We ordered a house full of custom Hunter…read moreDouglas shades from Dave and he told us they would arrive within 3 weeks. He needed half of the money down. After 4 weeks and no call, we called and he said they had accidently been shipped to another state but should be in the following week. No call the following week. This time when we called, he said they would be in the next week and even set a time for installation. He called the morning of the supposed install and said they did not arrive on the truck. He consistently blamed Hunter Douglas for the problem and now said that they were behind in making them. (But didn't he tell us the week before that they had been shipped somewhere else?). I finally called Hunter Douglas customer service and they could not even find where our order had been placed. From that point on, he was very very difficult to get ahold of. It would be days before he would return calls to us or the Hunter Douglas rep. We finally called and told him we wanted our money back and he said his accountant was going to mail us a check. Well, a week later and no check so we called and he said he had mailed it 3 days before so we should get it any day. A week after that and still no check so we told him we would drive out to his store and pick it up. We picked up the check 13 weeks after placing the order. Now just hoping it doesn't bounce! And we still have no shades!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THE BLIND OUTLET!!

I do not believe the order was ever placed and he never returned my calls. Kyle has always been a wonderful installer but his hands are tied. I think this business is falling apart.

It took over 2 months but it was worth it. The apartment was completely renovated and even had new carpet. I had one minor issue for the move in checklist and it was remedied by maintenance within 2 days. Possibly more important -- this complex is very, very dog friendly. From the women in the office (Brianne, Amy and Deann) to every neighbor I have met -- they are all so nice to my dog and to me. This is a friendly place. I loved the layout of this apartment and that's why I chose it. I had no idea all of the other things here I would love. I was selling a house and worried about apartment living -- now I wonder what took me so long. I have not rented for many years, and this life is way better than I remember. I have to give Casto credit-- this place is well taken care of, and they have hired an exceptional staff here.
