She showed us options, answered all our questions, gave us direction when asked, and made the process easy. Amber came out and installed our blinds and shades. She did a fantastic job! I could tell immediately she knew exactly what she was doing and we were amazed at how quickly and efficiently she did the installations. We got motorized shades for the bedroom (which we love!) and she patiently took the time to explain the remote, the phone app, cleaning instructions and answered every question we had. This company understands the meaning of great service and competent and professional employees. We are very happy with the quality of the product and the experience we had. We highly recommend Home Source!

The service was highly knowledgeable, staff was warm and friendly, and the selection was great. When I later examined blinds at big box stores and other stores, I saw the quality differences in the blinds. Hunter Douglas blinds were clearly superior. Although the price point is higher, I knew that the installation would also be superior. I was right. This is a family business, and everyone involved in my purchase and installation was professional and friendly. It was a pleasure to deal with them. My new shades immediately helped block the cold January temperatures, and they look awesome.

We worked with McCloud windows to replace 16 windows and our back door (changed from French doors…read moreto a sliding glass door). We had a great experience start to finish. We had original windows from the 90s in our house and we were having a hard time keeping the house insulated, our heating and cooling bills were insane and we basically had heaters or fans running 24/7. Since getting the windows and door replaced, our house has been much easier to heat and we haven't had to keep the heater running. We also didn't realize how much outside noise was getting into the house- but our house is way more quiet now, and multiple people have commented on it. They're really easy to open and close, they have locks we can use to keep the windows open partially and not have to worry about people getting in or our toddler getting out. They also have drainage set up where there isn't a bunch of gunk in the windows all the time. Scheduling was really easy. I'm a nurse so I work untraditional hours sometimes and the whole team worked really well to fit us in. Aidan, our sales associate, helped by fitting in appointments on weekends and texting back and forth to help answer questions as we debated quotes. He was really helpful in figuring out which options we really needed, versus things we could skip, and helped us find some nice discount options. Al, who came to measure the windows, was efficient and even brought treats for our dogs when he came by. He gave us clear instruction for how to clear everything out around the outside of the house for easy installation. We had Brad Sr. and Brad Jr. for our installation team and they were wonderful. They were careful about keeping our gate and doors closed as they worked, because we have animals who would take off otherwise. They were super sweet to our dogs, and talked to our toddler every time she went to see them. They communicated clearly around weather and rescheduling (it was way too cold one day so we had to reschedule, but barely). They were flexible and answered all our questions. One of the dogs messed up some of the caulk, and they fixed it before they left for us. For all the windows and the door, it took maybe a day and a half for installation, and they worked bit by bit to make sure the house didn't get too cold as they worked. They also worked with us to decide where they worked, since we had to work around our toddler's nap. We got quotes from two nationwide companies, as well as from McCloud and chose to go wit McCloud both because they were cheaper for the same product and because they were local and more personable. Would definitely recommend them!

ResAv was more than happy to do the custom install. We worked on a plan and it was up to them to execute the plan. At the last minute I decided to use Sonance in-wall speakers instead of what I had bought, so some tweaking was done in the process. No problem. (By the way the Sonance speakers made all the difference in sound and especially look) ResAv did all the custom wiring. In some cases it was difficult. My crawl space is not small, but not large either. They installed the connections to the receiver. No problem. The result is a clean looking and superb sounding A/V system ready to handle anything I throw at it. Over the three years they have always been there for information, consulting, and on-site when I need for that to happen. Pricing is competitive. In an industry where you usually don't get what you pay for, you can count on that with ResAv. They are honest, hard-working, creative, and VERY knowledgeable people. Don't look any further, give Aaron or Mike a call.

Mark was able to work wires in my 1960's home without "Swiss cheesing" any drywall! I know a handful of friends/family that have used ResAV and they all say the same thing, "best in town." My guess is the "business owner" that gave the unfavorable review was asking for the moon. Also to note, this is a small business Custom Integrator, not a 1-800 fix it. So running a service call, for a speaker issue that was installed by whomever and whenever, won't be top priority. Nice attempt with, "as well as asking for a price on an accessory," I doubt it.

We were not allowed to tour the apartment until a day before move-in, and once we handed over the check and got the keys, the leasing agent and management were nowhere to be found. The first week we moved in I requested that several things be fixed that should have been taken care of before we moved in: - scratched blinds from a cat from the previous resident - broken microwave - multiple lightbulbs out all around the apartment - cockroaches inside the common area near the trash room/garage - floor boards popping out - washer and dryer are old, loud, and do not work well and leave stains on our clothes - random charges on our monthly bills for electric even though we already put the bill in our name - no lights in the common area back stairs, which is pitch black at night - no regular upkeep of the building's common areas at all; dirty carpets and floors -the intercom system doesn't work These issues remain largely unfixed several months into the lease, even with regular calls and emails to the management. Moreover, the number and email listed for their management doesn't direct you to anyone; you have to call the leasing office for their Hilliard property to speak with anyone. Overall, there are cheaper apartments that are much nicer in the area. Their management is awful and unresponsive. They don't pay any attention to this building. Rent somewhere else.

At no time prior to lease signing we're we advised that the building intercom system was non-functioning and after 5-months the system is still not functioning. This issue has been raised numerous times asking why and when the system will be operational with only one general email to residents advising it would be addressed on a given date, but that date has passed more than a month ago with no additional communication and the intercom still non-functioning. The building fire & life safety system has been constantly ringing in trouble mode for most of the 5-months. This issue has been raised numerous times asking why and when the system will be operational with only one general email to residents advising it would be addressed on a given date. The system did stop ringing 'trouble alarm' on given date for approximately a week and now it has returned yet again to 'trouble alarm' periodically. There has been no additional communication from Property Management. It does not make one feel safe in their home wondering if this ongoing 'trouble alarm' should be taken seriously e.g. contact fire department, exit building, what happens if there is an actual fire. The building security entry doors have not been working the past 2-weeks with zero communication to the residents on why and when this will be addressed. Again, the safety of their residents does not appear to be of any concern to the Management Company. A representative of the Management Company was onsite when then issued started, so they are fully aware of the situation. With the crime levels within Short North district it should be paramount that the building is secured! We've discussed on numerous occasion the importance of communicating issues between resident and management company, but after 5-months it is more than obvious this Management Company does not have adequate staffing or 'care' regarding the residents or to adhere to the lease agreement. These are only three 'major' issues I raise, but there are several other issues that confirm the errors in our choice to call 40 W 3rd Ave. Columbus OH our home. We will be vacating the building at the end of our lease agreement as there is no assurance of changes within this Property Management Company! 40 W 3rd Avenue, Columbus Ohio is not a resident friendly location.
