Went here with my colleagues for a staff meal out because of its convenient location to where all of us live. We thought it sounded good from some Trip Advisor reviews.
The decor is a bit lacklustre and the place was empty but we were more there for the food. We were unfortunately really disappointed. Everyone's meat dishes were really dry, fish platter that me and my friend shared tasted really weird (then we both had poorly tummys the next day!), imam baildi starter was super oily, bread was nowhere near as fresh and pillowy as Turkish bread I've had in other places like Olive & Thyme in Chorlton. Quite disappointing and rather expensive considering the quality...
On the plus side, the wine was nice, the service was good and the Turkish delight they gave us with the bill was fabulous. Not enough to make us return I'm afraid. In my opinion Turkish is an amazing cuisine but quite simple and difficult to mess up if you're using good ingredients. Marmaris need to up the quality I'm afraid! read more
