This store is a decent size and usually has a good selection of clothes for all ages. I find Old Navy is a bit hit or miss for me. Either I go in and find several items I love or there's nothing there that interests me. Last time I went in I did find a nice top for about $30. Their fitting rooms are still open (least when I was there), which is really nice. Some stores in the mall have their fitting rooms closed, so you have to go to the bathrooms to try on the clothes (and keep the receipt in case you need to return something). Staff are always friendly whenever I've shopped here, and I appreciate the hand sanitizer at the front of the store. It's usually not too busy at this location unless you're here on the weekend. This is an Old Navy I'll return to again.

I guess I caught the start of their 50% sale sale... because there was a TON left and it was all SUPER cheap. Lots of great brands - Dex, Supertrash, S. Oliver, Kensie, etc... And it was funny how some great quality clothing that isn't necessarily popular in North America was the cheapest! I got an S. Oliver blouse for $12... which is insane, since they retail for around $60 in Europe. And Supertrash jeans for $15 (I had actually never heard of the brand before, but looked it up when I got home and I guess they're $150 jeans? nice!) They also seem to get a lot of unsold stuff from local stores - I saw American Eagle jewellery, shoes, and bags as well as Urban Outfitters jewellery. There is definitely some digging involved in this store (think thrifting), but it can be quite worth your time.

Located just south of the Edmonton city cemetery and literally behind (north) of Oliver Square. It can be a little tricky to find the first time. I have friends that have found some fabulous treasures here in the clothing liquidations but I haven't found that hidden Easter Egg yet. The layout is kinda like a thrift store but way less organized. You need time when you come here to sort and sift through the garbage to find the gems. Also, sign up for their email online for advance notice of sales and coupons. It's a fun little liquidation warehouse but it could be improved significantly with better organization and layout.

I've also shopped online when I was desperate, but between the exchange rate, extreme shipping costs, and the custom fees... you end up paying twice as much. I chose to attend the grand opening of this location (The first in Edmonton) on December 10th. I was happy with the selection, though the Torrid website still holds much more than what you'll find in store. I expected the prices to be a little higher (thanks to the crappy exchange rate), but was still surprised with how high some of it was. I would put the prices on par with Addition Elle, which is a shame. But be sure to sign up for their emails and you'll get lots of deals and coupons sent to you!! The staff were absolutely fantastic while dealing with a group of excited shoppes. Honestly, they never looked stressed or overwelmed. I ended up purchasing a gorgeous little change purse after drooling over dozens and dozens of items. They also sell costume jewellery, hats, purses and scarves and also complete jewellery repairs. The store reminds me of a kiosk in the Hawaiian International Market Place. Most of the items here are of lower quality but if that's what's in your budget, great.
