Please see update********…read more They say, if you walk into a salon and love the hair-do on the stylist you've found your salon. I've found my salon! I first found Tammy, my massage therapist. I searched yelp, google then Facebook (being new to the area) and Tammy's name popped up quite a bit. I called and we set the appointment. Tammy is very kind and wants you to get the most out of your treatment so she reviews your needs prior to your massage then during to ensure you're happy. I have myalgia so not all days are the same but Tammy works with me and I appreciate her very much. As I was leaving she helped me schedule my hair color appointment with Angela the following week. I brought her a photo and I absolutely love the color. She was spot on! We didn't cut yet I go Monday. I'll try to remember to do a follow up. I know I won't be dissatisfied though. The shop is in a mini strip mall but not a chain!!! The decor is so welcoming and beautiful. Beverages are available as well. (But not offered. You must ask-communication is a bit of an issue here. I checked in and sat 20 minutes because my stylist claimed she didn't see me walk in behind her) *******UPDATE******* still LOVE Tammy for massages! Still recommend her highly. It was a a very tough decision - I've moved on to another salon. My original visit was for TAMMY and she recommended upon my request a stylist. My hair is very think and coarse and I needed someone that didn't upcharge me after quoting me on 2 separate occasions. I wasn't in love with my hair as I kept telling myself it is growing out. I went into the salon a few days earlier asked the stylist if she could do my hair color I showed her a picture of what I wanted a color I previously had. She said that she could do it. I asked her if she was absolutely sure she said yes I made an appointment I came back. I went to salon got there at 1 o'clock. She did not take me until 130. I showed her a photo again of me with the hair color I wanted and asked again if she could do it. she said yes. I sat in the chair for over five hours when she started to dry my hair, I told her that it was not what I asked for, she asked Another stylist to help she started adding all kinds of bright red shades. I asked for a little trim and not to take a lot I showed her how much. she took over 2" off my hair. I was so devastated what my hair looked like I was speechless. I walked out of the salon looking like Ronald McDonald. I went back to the salon because I was embarrassed how bad my hair looked like I spoke to the owners daughter she was very nice and said would I let them do something and would refund my money, but she needed to talk to the stylist. I then got a phone call from the owner, who was absolutely nasty and said that my color was beautiful I said it was not what I asked for and that everybody else that saw the color laughed at me. my friend who recommended the salon said sorry for recommending them. the owner got very nasty to me and said that she would not refund my money. the owner also said she hade me on video saying that I liked it. I told her I did not say that I was distraught about what the women did to my hair with the color and how much the stylist cut my hair. I was very adamant about the color and I didn't want a lot cut off. The owner refused to listen to any of my concerns and was very nasty and when I asked to see the videotape that she said she had she refused to show it to me. She is recording conversations that you have with your stylist without your knowledg. I have never had a salon owner treat me the way that this owner did. I do not recommend you going to this salon if you care about your hair and want your hair to be done the way you want not the way they think it should be done. Owner continued to talk about a video she had and when I said she was saying things that were not true and to show me the video she refused. I cannot express what a horrible experience this was.
