Next, she took me back to the shampoo bowl. She washed and conditioned my hair and gave me the best head massage ever as she was washing. She took her time with my haircut. I had about three inches cut off and layers added. She was very thorough with checking to make sure the layers were even. She did a blowout and style at the end. I left looking and feeling refreshed. I wanted my icy platinum (extremely damaged) hair refreshed with a root touch-up and to get k-tips. Now, please keep in mind that the entire back layer of my hair is like 3 inches long from breakage. Any respectable hair stylist would have just said no, and I realize that now. But not Mirage. The photos speak for themselves. The first several are the way she initially sent me home, which is just laughable lol. The next ones are after she "fixed" it i.e. just took the super visible bonds out, but there's still absolutely no blend and it looks atrocious. I went somewhere else to have them taken out and this stylist was utterly appalled not only that they did this service at all with my hair in its current condition, but the technique was extremely sloppy and so tight I was getting sores on my scalp. I asked for a partial refund for the extensions and they refused, so I disputed it with my bank. Also, they lifted my roots to straight up YELLOW and told me to just "use purple shampoo" as if it works that way. You didn't lift it enough... at least they refunded me for that part. ALSO, they charged me $1300 for hair that I later found out costs like $700, they just pocketed the extra. Like ok... Unless you are getting something extremely simple done, AVOID.
