The hands-on activities and practical life experiences have helped him grow in so many positive ways. Ms. Maryam is incredibly caring and supportive, and she makes each child feel valued and encouraged. I also love that the school provides clean, homemade snacks, which shows the extra thoughtfulness and care that goes into everything they do. We are so happy to be part of this Montessori community!

The Montessori approach has nurtured his natural curiosity and independence in ways we never imagined. Ms. Maryam is incredibly attentive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. At school they create a warm, respectful environment where every child is seen and valued. Our son comes home excited to share what he's learned, and we love hearing about the hands-on activities and collaborative projects that make learning so engaging for him. What stands out most is the school's commitment to fostering a love of learning. Rather than rushing through lessons, they allow children to explore at their own pace, which has helped our son build confidence and a deep sense of responsibility for his own education.

When I say beautiful, I mean the materials the children get to interact with every day are next level. Everything feels so intentional, carefully chosen and really aligned with the Montessori method. Our daughter has attended Rocklin Ranch Montessori from 16 months old through age four, with some pauses along the way while I stayed home with her and later had two more girls. But we have always come back to Rocklin Ranch, and Aman and the teachers who have had our girls have been excellent. One of the best parts of the school is the communication. They send daily updates, especially for children in the 16 month to 3 year age range, and weekly photos. Their newsletter is wonderful and keeps parents updated and it is so special to regularly see photos of your child with their friends throughout the week. They also have a great skills chart where they track what your child is learning and working on. The outdoor play area and playground are gorgeous. There is a beautiful little garden and outdoor space where the children get to eat lunch and the whole environment feels sweet, calm and thoughtfully cared for. I also really appreciate that the children have the opportunity to nap for up to 2.5 hours, which is such a gift for young kids. They also have an option for the girls to play soccer during the day, which has been really great for our family and has simplified the need to put them in an extra soccer program after school or on weekends. Their pick up and drop off hours are also extremely flexible which has been so helpful for us. We currently have two daughters enrolled in Montessori and one of the sweetest parts is that they get to see each other during the day. That has honestly changed childcare for us, just knowing that they are both there together and near each other, instead of totally separate all day. Most importantly, Rocklin Ranch actually adheres to the Montessori method in a peaceful, organized and intentional way. For our family it has been so worth it.

After thorough research, Rocklin Ranch Montessori stood out. Every teacher is not only professional but truly invested. Ms. Dama, for example, embraced Ari's quiet nature, encouraging growth at her pace. From Redwood with Ms. Karina to Juniper with Ms. Dama, transitions were seamless. Ari comes home every day glowing with excitement. If you're considering this place, rest assured Rocklin Ranch will be an excellent choice for your child!

My kids are constantly asking when their next school break is because the idea of them getting a week with their friends at KC is a total highlight for them. We are at a stage in our kids life where they could spend their summers doing different camps and trying new things, but every year it's the same answer: they'd rather be at Rocklin KC. The staff here makes it so enjoyable for these kids that being there is more fun than anywhere else. Even the food is great (trust me, I know. Mr Chris saves me leftovers). I 100% recommend this place to any family looking for a place filled with added family. Ms Denise is everything you'd want in a leader, Ms Kym taught my kids the love of science, Ms Justina taught my kids patience and respect, and Ms Lizzy is a shining light. Mr Chris will always be my number chef and Ms Sammy will always be my kids go-to for fun. I can go on and on about the wonderful teachers and staff at Rocklin KC - because honestly, everything about this place has been wonderful for my family.

The 2 yr class is tightly packed with the minimum space I have seen as compared to other places. Many injuries happen to staff members and young children such as black eyes and other injuries caused by objects being thrown by unruly out of control small children. This writer's opinion is to NEVER enroll any child here ever, as most of those attending have out of control behavior issues. Staff turn over is high due to management of the center and abusive children to staff. No adult should NEVER be afraid to go to work, but here is a daily challenge. It appears to this writer management only care for the bottom line. This place needs the license pulled for irresponsible management, health and safety to staff and children.

My boys had both been with a private nanny their entire lives - and we were extremely nervous about transitioning them away from private home care and into a school environment. The Merryhill team was fantastic and so supportive during the transition. My youngest especially had a difficult time with the transition. The teachers were so patient and kind with his crying at drop off - and would provide us updates on how he was doing via the school app. I also really like how they have big windows into each classroom; I am able to watch my boys and see how happy they are in their classroom before they notice I am there to pick them up. Both of my boys absolutely adore their teachers (Ms. Lindsey, Ms. Liz, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. CeCe) and look forward to seeing their friends every day. Beyond my boys being comfortable and happy - they have also learned so much in their time at Merryhill. Nearly every day I'm surprised by something new they've learned - like my 4 year old learning how to count up to 100, count in tens, learning the months of the year, and starting to read. My youngest learns new words every day, has learned his colors, how to count to ten, and is learning important social skills (like how to share). We feel very fortunate to have found this school and have already re-enrolled them both for next year.
