There were so many things I was afraid of when I started to look for a daycare, like cleanliness, my son not being taken care of well enough, daycare staff being over worked and overwhelmed. You hear a lot of horror stories that scare any parents but man does CJCC really exceed all my expectations. They send presious pictures and updates when asked and I truly appreciate the pics and updates . Ms. Pinar has been so amazing to my sweet boy! She truly loves and cares so much for him & works so well with trying to get him fed. (He was exclusively breastfed most his life) if you know, you know! She has been compassionate, kind, understanding and willing to assist to meet his preferences and needs. When I first toured I was SO impressed with their attention to cleanliness & infection control. From the moment I stepped in the door Ms. Pinar & Mr. Avni welcomed me with such warm energy, happy and inviting. They made me put on booties over my shoes and wash my hands. Which was a first! My son was 5 months when he started but I was so happy and impressed to see all the learning tools and hear about how they help the children with real life skills. I was so impressed I came back a second time with my son's father. We are so excited and happy to be apart of the cookie jar child care family!!

In this time my son has grown immensely, not only physically, but mentally, and emotionally as well. Mrs. Maria cooks home made food that my son is obsessed with. Mr. Avni teaches him manners, to play soccer and even piano. My son speaks with incredible pronunciation and has a very wide vocabulary for a 2 year old and I have no doubt it's from the education this daycare provides while my husband and I work. I absolutely love that they have no screen time and have a very structured day to help children learn to thrive in routine. I highly recommend cookie jar child care in Rocklin.

My boys had both been with a private nanny their entire lives - and we were extremely nervous about transitioning them away from private home care and into a school environment. The Merryhill team was fantastic and so supportive during the transition. My youngest especially had a difficult time with the transition. The teachers were so patient and kind with his crying at drop off - and would provide us updates on how he was doing via the school app. I also really like how they have big windows into each classroom; I am able to watch my boys and see how happy they are in their classroom before they notice I am there to pick them up. Both of my boys absolutely adore their teachers (Ms. Lindsey, Ms. Liz, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. CeCe) and look forward to seeing their friends every day. Beyond my boys being comfortable and happy - they have also learned so much in their time at Merryhill. Nearly every day I'm surprised by something new they've learned - like my 4 year old learning how to count up to 100, count in tens, learning the months of the year, and starting to read. My youngest learns new words every day, has learned his colors, how to count to ten, and is learning important social skills (like how to share). We feel very fortunate to have found this school and have already re-enrolled them both for next year.

When our oldest started there he had a bit of a hard time adjusting because he was coming from a nanny-share at home with one other younger child. The teachers were caring, patient and supportive, and after a few months he really blossomed and came out of his shell. They also helped us immensely with potty-training which was particularly challenging with our son (Thank you Susana!!). He has since made his way up through several different classrooms and will be starting TK in the fall. His current teacher Racquel is absolutely incredible. It's easy to see how passionate she is about child development and how much she genuinely loves and cares about each of her students. While we will miss her dearly, she is has done so much to prepare him for TK and beyond, and we couldn't be more grateful! Since our youngest started a little earlier, we got to meet a new room of toddler teachers who impressed us so much from day one (Kenzi, Izabelle & Yer). Our daughter wasn't quite walking yet, but they had her up and running within weeks. She often had a hard time with goodbyes in the morning, but the teachers always helped me feel at ease and I knew she would be in great hands. I feel like we were truly spoiled. Beyond out kids' individual classroom experiences, I think the school as a whole is run very well. I've been impressed with the environment and culture in general-- it feels very positive, nurturing and inclusive. Highly recommend!!

My kids are constantly asking when their next school break is because the idea of them getting a week with their friends at KC is a total highlight for them. We are at a stage in our kids life where they could spend their summers doing different camps and trying new things, but every year it's the same answer: they'd rather be at Rocklin KC. The staff here makes it so enjoyable for these kids that being there is more fun than anywhere else. Even the food is great (trust me, I know. Mr Chris saves me leftovers). I 100% recommend this place to any family looking for a place filled with added family. Ms Denise is everything you'd want in a leader, Ms Kym taught my kids the love of science, Ms Justina taught my kids patience and respect, and Ms Lizzy is a shining light. Mr Chris will always be my number chef and Ms Sammy will always be my kids go-to for fun. Please read if you're a parent considering this school!!…read more Today my newly diagnosed Level 1 autistic son was kicked out of The Goddard School in Roseville, and I'm honestly still trying to process it. I am heartbroken, angry, and deeply disappointed. My son is extremely high functioning. We have worked incredibly hard to support him -- I drive two hours twice a week to get him to occupational therapy, he will be receiving ABA support, and we've put countless hours into helping him thrive. Because of that work, he doesn't even qualify for speech therapy. He is a bright, loving, energetic three-year-old who deserves patience and understanding like any other child. Instead, we were essentially told he could not stay unless we provided a full-time one-on-one aide ourselves -- something that would mean paying tuition while also paying privately for someone to supervise him all day. As a parent, there is nothing more painful than watching your child start forming friendships and getting comfortable somewhere, only to be pushed out because he needs a little extra support. If a school is not equipped or willing to support neurodivergent children, families deserve honesty about that from the beginning. It would save parents and children a tremendous amount of heartbreak. Right now my momma heart is just broken. My son deserves a community that sees his potential and supports him -- not one that shuts the door on him. If you're a parent of a neurodivergent or high energy child, walk the other way. Thank you for reading.

The teachers are all truly amazing they really pay attention to each kids needs and just so engaged and loving. I absolutely love the app to use for all the reminders and pictures of what's going on and what she ate or if she napped. The communication is very open and ongoing of what's going on. The owners Millie and Ash are very present at the events hanging out with the kids you can feel the love and commitment they have for the school and the kiddos. From the moment you walk through the front doors each morning, you're greeted with smiling faces and a warm "good morning." They know every child by name and make each family feel welcome. It's such a wonderful way to start the day and immediately gives you peace of mind. The teachers are truly incredible. They are patient, loving, attentive, and take the time to get to know each child as an individual. I've never felt like my son is just another student in a classroom. They celebrate his personality, encourage his growth, and genuinely care about his happiness and development. I also really appreciate their student to teacher ratio. There are more teachers in the classrooms than I've seen at many other childcare centers, which means the children receive so much individual attention and gives me peace of mind. My son started in the First Steps classroom and has now moved into the Young Toddlers classroom, so we've had the opportunity to experience three different classrooms and many different teachers. One thing that has remained consistent throughout every transition is the genuine love and care the staff has for the children. Even teachers he no longer has still stop to say hello, give him high fives, and ask how he's doing. Seeing that they continue to care about him long after he's left their classroom speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. It never feels like they're simply doing a job, they truly build relationships with the children and their families. One of my favorite things about the school is how much they do to keep learning fun and engaging. As a STEM school, they incorporate hands on learning while also offering so many exciting activities throughout the year. My son looks forward to Music Mondays with Matt, art days, water play days, pizza Fridays, and the creative themes they change throughout the week. Over the summer they had a train come to the school and the kids got to ride on it, my son loved that! They even had an outdoor Robo Dance Party that came to the school. They are always thinking of the next fun thing they can bring to the school and it's truly amazing! They even have Soccer Shots as an added option for kiddos. They also host so many family events and holiday celebrations, including Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparents Day, Aunt & Uncle Day, and more. They truly make families feel like they're part of the school community. Safety has always been a top priority for me, and this school takes it seriously. The secure entry with double doors and coded access, along with locked and alarmed outdoor gates, gives me confidence every day that my son is in a safe environment. The playground is always clean, well-maintained, and a place where the kids can play safely. The communication is another huge reason we love this school. Through their app, I receive updates throughout the day with photos, what my son has eaten, diaper changes, water refills, nap times, and more. It makes such a difference knowing exactly how his day is going while I'm at work. I am so grateful that my son gets to grow up surrounded by teachers and staff who love him so well. If you're looking for a school where your child will have lots of fun, learn new curriculum each day, be safe, encouraged, celebrated, and genuinely loved, I cannot recommend this school enough. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this amazing community!!!
