It seemed like there are quite a bit of negative news happening about this station on TV each year. But again, there aren't a lot of things to do or see around the Rundle area. There is no reason for me to come or to stop at this station. Of course other than food.

Sunnyside Station is the first station after the free zone and is also the first station northwest…read moreof downtown. So if you are heading toward Tuscany or downtown, you would pass by this station. The station is located close to Kensington. Super convenient station. It is close to all the restaurants and stores. As well, it is in front of Safeway. Great for people like me who lives beside the C-Train where I can pick up groceries easily and head back.

The train station you should get off at for a fun summer's day (or winter, tough guy) stroll…read morethrough the shops and pubs of Kensington. This is also the place you would want to get off at if you're looking for a stroll along the river, and maybe head to Prince's Island Park. It's also the last stop before downtown and the first station out for the "free fare zone" leaving downtown. ON that - This is important, especially if you're visiting during Stampede. You'll notice that Calgary's trains don't have any turnstiles - the trains are free downtown but then we like to rely on the honour system for all the stops outside of downtown, well, that and the transit cops who sometime ride the train, or more commonly, are positioned by the exit doors on stations with only one exit. Sunny Side station, however, opens to the outside world and you can exit the platform wherever. So just sayin', if you ever accidentally misplaced your train ticket, this would be a good, low-heat spot to get off. (That or Lions park and Banff Trail) Be wary though, Sunnysideis a popular spot for the train cops to get on. #TheMoreYouKnow. They've put a fair amount of work into this station in the last year. They've upgraded it to accommodate 4-car trains - I don't know when the city will be switching to this, but it looks like they're preparing! And more immediately important is that they've improved lighting in and around the station, as well as they've gotten rid of all the creepy in-the-bush hiding spots. I definitely feel like it's more safe to be at late at night with the added visibility.

Another C-Train Station located outside of downtown. This is a red line station. The trains that…read morestops here are either heading toward Tuscany or Sommerset-Bridlewood. It is also known as the 201 line. It is one of the more convenient stations. The station is clean and because there are no indoor enclosed area, there are no homeless people here. It is located about 10 mins train ride from downtown. It is great for someone like me who wants to grab some quick food and jump back onto the train. There are a few restaurants within walking distance from this station. If I wanted to visit relatives, I usually pass by this station.

I do like this station due the the wall artwork. This is one of the least boring Station. Note that…read morethis is the first station after the City Hall Station and the free zone heading toward south west. Please remember to purchase a ticket here. There is only one exit here. This is the stop to the Saddledome and Calgary Stampede. During the Stampede time, it is super crowded here.

This is your stop for The Saddledome, The BMO Centre and of course, The Calgary Stampede! Important: Heading from downtown, it's the first stop outside of the "Free Fare Zone," so if you're gonna get off at Victoria Park/ Stampede you'll need to have a ticket. The transit cops (and even the real police) very often do ticket checks at the stop. Not only is it so close to the free zone, everyone exiting needs to exit through the same stairwell making it very easy for them to stop you and check for a ticket. Make sure you buy a ticket if you're getting off here, and you know... Always. If you're at the station for a concert or game, there' a good chance you'll see "Sax" the busker wailing away. Make sure to flip him a buck or two.

Easy access for mobility challenged. Take a few minutes and visit nearby Century Gardens and listen to the waterfall. Ticket vending machines accept coins and proximity cards only. So if like me you're rolling with a pocketful of paper money, you'll need to wander over to Macs and buy something so I could purchase a ticket. The Calgary Transit system is a "proof of purchase" one, so you must have a paid ticket or validated card with you at all times (except in the free fare zone) to display to a ticket inspector.

If you want a Walk to 7th St. if you'd like to take either a Northwest - Tuscany or West bound train, or the Downtown West/Kirby station if all you need is a Westbound, 69th St. Train. It the first stop on the Free Fare Zone. It's also the place to get off if you want to do some parkour at the retro 8th & 8th park, attempt a meal at the sketchiest McDonalds in the city, or buy a pack of papers from the infamous Crack Mac's. But they've really cleaned this place up. It bright and open and not too many places to hide, making it feel less "stabby" than it ever has.

I have used this taxi service several times. Unfortunately, when I get into the cab, I find that…read morethe driver doesn't know the city. I have to provide the address and the directions. This happens even when the destination is a clinic or a hospital. This is frustrating particularly when you have an appointment and you want to be on time. This cab was clean and it did arrive on time. I don't understand how this can happen in the age of GPS. I am giving this service three stars because I got to my destination in one piece.

Waved down a cab near the stampede last night. My wife has a mobility scooter. The driver was very…read morecourteous and helped us fold the scouter and lifted it into the cab. At our hotel he took it out of the cab for us and made sure it was unfolded before he left. Somehow I managed to leave my wallet in the cab. In the middle of the night the hotel slipped a letter under my door stating that a cab driver dropped off my wallet at the front desk. Nothing in my wallet was disturbed. It is so nice to experience an honest man.
