Worst car repair experience ever…read more Had to spend an extra $600 at VW dealership to correct Cheshire's mistakes. They used the wrong springs for my Jetta. The car was literally 5 inches taller in the front. My husband jokingly called my car the 'mini SUV' when he saw it, because it looked so awful. There was a large gap between tire and wheel well. My car felt completely different, clunky and stiff. They charged me $1,091 to 'fix' my car. I brought my car back, and spoke with the mechanic. I showed him the issues and told him he did something wrong, and I was guessing he used the wrong parts. He said the parts were 'new' and it would 'settle. Wait, what?! I brought my car to the Volkswagen dealership, and asked them to look at it, since Cheshire had messed it up so badly. Dealership told me that Cheshire used the wrong springs. How could they not have noticed how they made my car look, and how it handled? Also, when I first left my car for repairs, they didn't fix anything. I needed my car back, and I asked if it was safe to drive. Was told it was fine. It was not. I had to have my car towed because a large piece of spring snapped off. Another serious issue: They used the wrong oil in my Turbo engine. Their error could have ruined my engine. Ended up bringing car to dealership, to fix mistakes. Because of Cheshire's errors, I spent an additional $600 in labor. In total, I spent $1,691 on this repair. I told Dale I would be writing a review and sharing photos of their work. He said that was "threatening". He then told me there would be "retaliation".

Sales department is awesome, service department not so much. Every time I go get something done to…read moremy CRV hybrid they say I need something done to my brakes, last time it was turning my rotors because they were "pitted", and this time it was " your state inspection is going to fail unless you get your brakes greased" I've come to the conclusion that brake work is a easy way for them to make money because it cost them nothing. I think I'll be bringing my car elsewhere for my service needs. I really wanted to like them because the sales dept was so great! UPDATE: you can't make this stuff up, after receiving my engine and cabin filters in the mail, I went to change the engine filter as recommended and one of the bolt on the filter housing cover was broken and the soft engine cover was cracked, this is unacceptable, how does a "certified" mechanic do this and not one replace the part he broke or at least explain and apologize?

My initial impression of this dealer stood out because of Catherine, their internet sales manager…read more She was a model of efficiency, immediately providing me with all of the information I requested. Catherine was like that ideal server in a restaurant who is there whenever you need something, completely attentive, yet not hovering or high pressure. She was completely transparent and thoughtful. I also was impressed with the knowledge and thoughtfulness of another staff member, Cody. I can't vouch for the management or service departments because I wound up choosing to buy a car from another dealership but these two staff members definitely put Honda of Keene's best foot forward.

Horrible: Waited 13 days for my car to be finished. The issue was a software malfunction (see…read morephotos), so significant that I could not drive the vehicle (note warning). They could not duplicate the problem but charged me $185.00 (labor) and never addressed the warnings during the software malfunction. Their diagnosis: car needed a new battery. Picked up car on day 13, and the interior smelled like a dead fish. I don't believe their claim that they drove it because how they didn't smell that awful aroma is beyond my comprehension, and the Tire Pressure indicator was on - what service dept would say the car is ready with that concerning warning indicator and awful smell?? The invoice stated my car was black (it's blue). The communication was poor, I was sent to voicemails with no return calls; promised call backs within 10 min and 90 min later I had to call them back. Jeff claimed to have called, but my phone indicated otherwise. My last phone conversation was with Portia - she rudely huffed into the phone. Evan had said to call if I needed a loaner, but when I asked Jeff , he said would connect me with a rental car. Not a quality place by any means; nor are they accountable to their lack of service. I picked the car up, and after 13 days, they gave me a coupon to their own car wash - wow.... didn't have time over 13 days to wash it for a customer who only bought a battery? The reviews show how the new buyers love the dealership; the owners are treated with disrespect. They just don't care.
