I've made unbreakable bond the staff and clinical director there. Everything is super confidential, and your information will not get shared with any other clients. When you get there, they find an individualized treatment plan that works for you. Nobody's is the same. If needed, they are 100% willing to make accommodations. They listen to what you need and make sure to get it to you. They also have family sessions. And I've never felt closer to my mom. they teach you non-harmful norms. if you have an option for what residential treatment to pick, CCH is the way to go. And for any staff reading this, thank you for making me feel like a true person, not just a little kid. For all my life, nobody took a struggling 12-year-old seriously. When I got to CCH, all of that change. So just thank you truly for all of the help from the clients, staff, and finding the help within myself. and one last thing... i made incredible friendships there. The people are so nice and understanding. My roommate was the highlight of my night. I am happy to say I am in such a better place now. sure I struggle, but I never throw in the towel.

It was very beneficial for him and for our family. His language flourished, he was toilet trained and he really enjoyed the relationships he made there. We even had the opportunity to take part in a research study through Drexel Autism institute during his time there. Many of the therapists I consider like family! After two years, We then transitioned to the school district. The staff was very helpful in making sure we had everything set up in his IEP that was needed for him to succeed. Today, he is doing wonderfully in 2nd grade. We got an incredible start with Interactive Kids.

He guided me toward self healing and preservation in order to live a healthy productive life. I continued our sessions to stay in line with good mental health. Then Covid hit and I lost my job. I felt hopeless and fell away from all my close relationships including my sessions with Dr Cohen. But I reached out to him this year after Covid almost took my life and he once again equipped me to live as a responsible healthy adult. I was back on track in no time. His support and encouragement has been priceless to me. Dr. Larry has never produced any such stories for my best friend (who also sees him) and me. He's in his mid 40s, but comes off as young and hip (though not in the "trying too hard" sort of way.) If you feel like you need someone to talk with and you're a hip 20 something (in other words someone who is on this site, hence reading this), I strongly suggest checking him out. Oh, and he's unbelievably attentive. If he knows you're going through a crisis, he'll actually call you sometimes. For instance, I have a very important job interview this Thursday and I have a strong feeling I'm going to get a call from him Friday morning. It's how he rolls. Check him out!

Sorry - ranting. My therapist is awesome so far. Doing virtual therapy with someone is a different city than I live is nice since I don't have to run into them around town. Anyway, this place is friendly and easy to get scheduled with. No ridiculous fees.

Myself and others (who are all filing medical board…read moreand BBB complaints this month) paid $180 + for a 5 minute appointment where they rush you in and out so fast because they're so worried about collecting the most amount of money from people and not your care. They told me not to worry about lab bills and took them from me for 6 months saying they paid them, only to tell me after I racked up hundreds of dollars and received notices from collection agencies, that they made a mistake and don't pay them. When we spoke to the COO he told us that he would pay them ONLY if I dropped out of the program. I did so, and never received a response from them again. I've never wrote a Yelp review in my life ... but this is insanity and disgusting. People are looking for help and to fix their lives and these people hurt them even more. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO - do not trust these people.

Having no experience with any of this we put our trust in the treatment facility to guide him in the right direction. Humble Beginnings is very client focused. They helped my son with finding his root issues and have given him the guidance to be able to correct his behavior. The care of the staff is unbelievable, they are kind, knowledgeable, caring and definitely can relate to their patients. From the moment I stepped into their office I knew my son was in the right hands. They genuinely want to help. The program they have at Humble Beginnings is amazing as well as the attention that they give to the families. My son continues to go there and is making great strides in his recovery. I would highly recommend Humble Beginnings to anyone in recovery for drug and alcohol addiction.
