Today at the recreational area near the pond, several families have videos of a group of us being harassed by the male security guard who would not give his name. Another resident and I were told that we have now been "86ed" from the park and playgrounds. He told people to put on masks in the playground area as we were in compliance by being away from the playground area and near the planters away from one another which is in compliance with the state mandate. Security stated that one part of the park is okay to not have a mask but the other is not. This invisible boundary seems to have changes multiple times and is not clear. He also threatened that "this uniform can come off," implying he was trying to cause altercation. He would not provide his name, but I do have him on video and many of the other family's do as well. He then said all 7 or so families that were present are not allowed to return or else. For one thing, I just moved in a few weeks ago and if this how security addresses families with young children, I am very upset that you allow this and that this has not been stopped. He harassed my 6 year old to put on her mask, he has no right to do so when she is clearly nowhere near anyone as she was roller skating around the pond. She was with me, her father and is not of age for him to be telling her to comply or else. All the families at the park with children were harassed by security and it is all on video. Conveniently 2 weeks ago security told another family children 3 and up were required to wear masks. Today it was 6 and up. One of the children spoke up that he was 9 and the security guard replied that was okay today. In the video he told another resident "we have to do this again, "I 86ed you," "yea I gave you a pass yesterday," then saying to him "I want you to stay here, YOU FITTIN TO GET TAZED." He screamed in my face and followed me and another man with his children (in masks) to the parking area. I felt threatened for my safety as well as my daughters, as he approached, yelled, and followed me while talking crap in a threatening manner. I left on my own accord this is not the community I thought I was moving my family to. If this is how going to the park with my child so she can roller-skate will be, I do not feel safe for her and myself. This man videoed us and held his phone in our faces and everyone there within 8 inches saying "86ed," "86ed, "86ed." The company you hired to patrol instigates fights with families who live in the community and when asked for his credentials refuses and then claims to "86" members of the community from using the park who were causing no problems. Your security made a very unprofessional scene in front of small children. You cannot "86" someone from being outside for God Sakes, this is complete lunacy. The videos are too large to load but they hold enough proof. The other residents' videos show what was happening as well. I will not be harassed or threatened in front of my child by your security firm for doing nothing wrong. In the video he admits I have a mask on but still continues to harass me and then make threats against members of the community. As a new resident I am disgusted by this incident, I am sure the other involved families feel the same as we all live here and this is unacceptable!
