We've been using Mark's Cleaners for the past two years and highly recommend them. They do an excellent job and are very reliable. Their prices are slightly higher than other cleaners, but the door to door service is worth it. They are in our area two days a week--so it is super convenient as well. It's like magic: we leave a bag of dirty clothing on the front porch one day, and a few days later it reappears on the porch, freshly cleaned and starched and on hangers! Dropped off two leathers in January to be cleaned for $105 and after 2+ weeks later, I received both back DAMAGED, BURNED, SMELLY AND STAINED. In person, I was initially told I would be refunded by "check" from an employee who spoke to the owner by phone. After another visit, I was told the owner was still out and someone will give me a call. Since I never heard back nor received a refund, I disputed the charge with my bank. 3 months later, this business tells the bank that "they have video of me inspecting the clothes for 3 secs and that I never tried to contact them to resolve the issue" yet I am still waiting to hear back from the owner in regards to a refund by "check" after visiting the merchant several times. Don't you have those videos as well? I'm sure you do. DISHONEST & COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE DO NOT BRING ANYTHING YOU LOVE HERE! read more

We are extremely grateful for the excellent service we have received from Mark's Cleaners. As with any large city, it is difficult to determine where good service is found. I became aware of the Mark's delivery truck in our over-55 neighborhood, and asked neighbors about the level of service. I was assured that Mark's services were top-notch. We moved to Hoover from Colorado just prior to the pandemic, so it took a while to discover and employe various local services. We now wish we had discovered Mark's Cleaners and their excellent delivery service years ago! Absolutely the BEST! My husband had tried several Cleaners along the 280 corridor and was either not happy with the way his garments were returned or shocked by the cost. I saw a recommendation on one of my facebook groups page so I stopped by the store & signed up for pick-up and delivery service. We could not be more pleased. Our clothes are always perfect when returned, straight on hangers, with buttons buttoned. They provide a container for hangers to be recycled, and deliver and pick-up twice each week. Occasionally, a garment may not be returned the next delivery but that has not been a problem for us. Prices may be a little above average but their quality and customer service makes it worth every dime. read more

Rarely use dry cleaning since retirement, so dropped off 2 pair pants here recently. No issues with quality of service or staff, but $9.07 per each pant ($20.14) seems excessive to me. Maybe I am just too far out of the dry cleaning loop to know, but next time will ask cost first! read more

Wonderful company! I have been with them for years and can highly recommend them! They will repair your clothes if you give them the ok. They try Very hard to remove stains. If you are not happy with something, ask for a redo at no charge. Pickup twice weekly from your house at no cost. Very polite and respectful on the phone or in person. read more

Customer Service is not their specialty. I dropped off clothes on Wednesday morning through the drive through window. The lady said it would be done on Friday. I asked for delivery service so I had to go inside and fill out a form. Then there John or Jason said it would not be ready until Friday, which was fine since I will be out of town but there will be someone at home. On Thursday night I received an automated voicemail at 9PM; that they would be delivering and picking up clothes on Friday. Friday comes and goes with no delivery so I called at about 3:00 trying to find out what the problem was. I was informed by an employee named Katie, that my clothes was ready but there would be no further delivery because "everyone left for a family graduation" the graduation for the owners son. She said that she would leave a note to see about delivering on Saturday, that, "it shouldn't be a problem". On Saturday we called to find what time they would deliver and no one was ever informed and that they don't deliver on Saturday. My husband had to go to pick up the clothes and was told there was a shirt not ready. He was told that they would deliver the missing shirt on Monday. On Monday we called about the shirt and was now told that they do not deliver to our location until Tuesday. We got the shirt on Tuesday and John (or Jason) called my husband to say the shirt was delivered, trying to apologize. Unfortunately I had to call him back because he told my husband things that were totally wrong. The bottom line is that this business has a very long way to go to on customer service. Family companies are great but there is no reason that one order should have so many untruths told in order to cover up for the fact that they left on Friday. Additionally, all employees need to be able to talk to the companies policies, even if they are only part-time employees. Because of these problems, we will definitely not be returning and everyone who asks (and some that don't) will hear about our experience. read more

They have a full service offering for cleaning. I like the fact that they pick up and deliver. I get a call from Mark the night before letting me know they will be in the area the next morning so I can put my clothes out to be picked up. When I get my clothes back they don't have the dry cleaning odor that I have gotten at some places. When I drive through to pick my clothes up (sometimes) the personell are very sweet and accomodating to my needs. They are also open to answering any questions I may have. read more

The staff has to be my favorite part, they are always smiling and they make my day instantly better! I wondered how I was going to thank Mark & team for their fantastic job on my daughter's dry-cleaning. Now I can let everyone know how pleased I am. My daughter before moving to NY came home with a boat load of cleaning which most likely had not seen the inside of a dry cleaners in a long time. (college kid) Needless to say there were stains from who knows what but Mark & team worked very hard to get them out. What I really appreciated is that before they tackled something they were unsure of they called to see if we wanted to proceed. Can you say integrity?
