I explained what my budget was and they worked a deal much lower than my cap. Which was amazing, because the car I was looking at I've been wanting for quite awhile and just hadn't "taken the plunge". Also, everyone I met in the dealership greeted me, shook my hand, and offered their help with anything I may need then and in the future. I am glad that my husband convinced me to stop by Brown Daub Volvo when their competitor treated me…read moreas if I had the plague when I walked in the door for my SCHEDULED appointment for a test.  I have never experienced a salesperson meet me at the door to tell me "others are looking at the car, so sorry" , hold out his hand to shake as I depart and not offer an opportunity or appointment to consider other models.    What I initially noticed right off of the bat was the salespersons approach.  It was warm and inviting; not pushy yet helpful.  She delicately asked questions so that you could  determine whether I was "window shopping" or had an idea of exactly what I wanted.  She demonstrated that she knows the inventory because she knew right off the top of her head where the three vehicles were that I narrowed it down to.  When I explained that I did not want less than a specific  interior color and features in mind, she were right on point  While approaching one car, she spoke of her "no pressure" approach and showed me why Volvo sells itself.  At the time, I did not know what was a better option at the time (finance or lease) however Kathleen Reilly and Tom Connelly provided me every possible scenario based upon 2 of three cars that I narrowed it down to.  In all of my indecision, Kathleen was extremely patient and still did not pressure me.  I left you that Saturday knowing (or at least I thought that I knew) what I wanted --- NOT TO DEAL WITH ANY OTHER CAR SALESPERSON IN THE FUTURE OTHER THAN HER.    I confidently assured her that I was buying a car with DBV and how valuable customer service is to me.  Low and  behold, when I went to bed Sunday night, my decision changed.  Again Kathleen, went into action on Monday morning and provided me with different options before I made my decision.     This dealership (Kathleen and Tom specifically) reduced unnecessary stress (on my part) and made this transaction worth remembering Brown Daub Volvo..  Kathleen explained that she wanted to ensure that I was absolutely pleased with my purchase and physically comfortable in the vehicle.  Plus she spent time reviewing every control mechanism, and  feature to ensure that when I pulled off of the lot, I had a grasp of the vehicle

Don't risk buying used cars from this dealership they sold me 17 CRV for almost $20,000 not even 24…read morehours after I drove it off the lot. The battery died on it even though they supposedly had it pass inspection. Then three months after The turbo went, that was $5800 to repair. By then I had paid about $15,000 into the car itself. Then 1 month after that it was the catalytic converter that was $3500, then it was the cat again 6 weeks after that $900. They told me to take it to a Honda Dealership because they didn't have a way to further diagnose the CRV. The Honda dealership estimated $12k in repairs. (The catalytic converter they put in was too small and caused a head gasket problem) So yes, basically got scammed into paying $30,000 for a 2017 CRV. I went to the manager to try to amicably sort things out. I couldn't reach him for a week. They could only give me $8k for the CRV and only if I changed it for something else in their dealership. Please do not purchase used vehicles from them specially if they're not Toyota. I was told so many excuses and given the run around regarding the CRV. I've lost my trust in them and though I'm grateful they got me into a 2024 RAV4 it's still costing me 36k and I'm still paying off the 8k worth of repairs for the CRV. They kept my 10k in cash that I put down for the CRV took advantage of my situation as i was unemployed when I went in for the CRV, I took out 10k in savings for that CRV. Looking back, I regret trusting them specially since I was told the vehicle passed inspection and was in good condition, obviously not if it needed 10k worth of repairs within 6months of purchasing it. That CRV should not have been sold for more than 10k. Not in the condition it was in. I reluctantly accepted their offer, but my trust has been broken and I don't want others to fall into this situation either. Don't buy a used car from them unless it is certified with warranty. Specially if it isn't a Toyota. Again that CRV was not fairly priced. I will not be recommending them or returning to their dealership after having gone through what I have. I felt dismissed, belittled, disappointed, and taken advantage of. Them selling that CRV for almost 20k probably knowing it'd need repairs within a year solidifies that.
