This is by far the best Marks & Spencer (Simply Food) that I have ever had the pleasure of shopping in, and lucky for me it is my local one. With almost all the supermarket giants (Sainsbury's, Tesco, Waitrose) within walking distance, it is impressive and gratifying to find that M&S has stood its ground and for me, stands in a league of its own.
The brains and creators behind the M&S food never seem to rest, I am constantly seeing new flavours of chicken wings, original salads, even different flavours of hot cross buns; this variety is great and inspires us to not just eat the same thing everyday. All the while, the quality of the food, the competitive prices, and the popular choices still remain.
So why is this branch of M&S extraordinary in my opinion? Somehow for such a small local store it still packs in so much choice, fresh produce and it is open for a good length of time throughout the day. However, the stand-out feature of this store has to be the staff who, in all my years of custom, never fail to be helpful and cheery. The store and the staff all make grocery shopping a joyful experience. read more
