And is it cheap! You'll find lots of interesting foodstuffs for around half the price you'll find them at the nearest high street grocery store. Deepak is also a spice haven: their spice section extends along two lengthy aisles. They're also really good for cheap fresh fruit and vegetables, though if there is one thing they fall a little short on it's their selection of fresh meat. Every time I stroll in there to pick up an onion they're out of stock. It's uncanny. That's one reason why I choose to go to other local grocery shops like Paamir Super Market. They never run out of food and all of their stuff is quality. I don't know whether it's organic or not, but you can tell that the fruits and vegetables you pick up from here are way better quality than Sainsbury's; they're brighter and they simply look more edible. The prices are generally cheaper than at huge grocery chains as well. You can get four avocadoes for a pound here and a three tonne bag of rice for a fiver. I'll trade Sainsbury's shopping for this any day.

With Spitalfields and Borough Market you can get a variety of food form fresh bread to on the spot sandwiches but this market is more like a fruit and veg / cheap little market selling cheapy food and goods, not really up-market and fancy. Very no frills. Even if you can't be bothered going all the way East or to the Southbank, Northcote Road Market (a very continental market) is close by. I'm not really sure what this really has to offer and I wouldn't trust the fruit and veg from here either, I'd give it a miss.

I bought some lovely plastic flowers and the lovely gent said I smiled so much he gave me another bunch for free! You can't beat that for customer service! The Food Hall has a good selection of groceries, I like the overall modern and cool set-up which makes it easy to find whatever you need. Being a smaller store, sadly there is no Cafe or toilets inside. The staff seemed friendly enough, there could have been more of them around the shop floor, but I understand the difficulty right now in the current situation. 4* - A nice Marks and Spencer store in Chelsea.

The service is fast and usually friendly, but beware: this off license gets very busy at peak times and sometimes there are queues. At the back of the store you'll find a full-on post office with four booths, though only two are ever really manned. On the post office side they offer lots of stationary like envelopes, pens, pencils and post-it notes, amongst other things. It is quite deep! They have cool stuff here that you can't get in the US- drizzle able peanut butter, astronaut gummies, European treats, so many fun things. I got some fun goodies to take home. My friend shops here as her primary grocery store and finds it to be almost half the price of grocery shopping in the US. It was clean and pretty easy to find items and pricing. They have a large self checkout section and you pretty much have to fend for yourself in there, unlike American checkouts. You also have to scan your receipt to exit. While it is very fluorescent and not too exciting, like an American grocery store, I still found it to be quite fun.

Nothing spectacular. i would even go so far and say its not great. They layout is strange. the way the organised their aisles has no real logic behind it. the frozen food is not even near the chilled products. the buscuits are not near the coffee and tea is ... I don't know ... around the corner. Also they are horrible in stocking up items. There is always something missing whenever I go there.
