This branch of M&S is one I use a lot and often call in there. It's in the main shopping street in Kilmarnock, which is pedestrianised, although there is a car park at the back of the store (easy to get into from the one-way system around the town).
It's all on one level so not a huge store but a reasonable size nevertheless. There's the usual good quality range of clothes for all the family and there are some great gifts there too. I like the cosmetics and toiletries
(non tested on animals), especially the new coconut range which is surprisingly inexpensive (£2 for a bottle of moisuriser for example) so I have been stocking up lately!
There's a great food hall at the back of the store and they sell flowers and newspapers there too.
You'll find a small cafe tucked away behind the tills (easy to miss it altogether if you don't know it's there) but I find it disappointing as with the cafes at other M&S stores. The coffees and teas are pleasant enough but the seating area is basic and crammed together and there's not enough choice in snacks or meals. read more
