Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. From the receptionist to the coordinator and even the doctor, I did not feel welcomed or treated like a valued patient. Their attitude toward me made me feel uncomfortable and as though I was not even a patient there. When you are spending a significant amount of money on dental implants, you should not have to feel this way when dealing with the people responsible for your care. Good patient care is not only about the dental procedure--it is also about communication, respect, and how patients are treated. After the procedure, He woke up feeling severe pain, not mainly from the implants themselves, but a strange and intense discomfort on the left side of my jaw. Although the clinic reassured him that this pain was a normal part of recovery, it didn't improve over the next week. By February 18, the pain had become unbearable, and he went to the emergency room. There, he was diagnosed with a lacerated tongue, something he was never informed of nor treated for after the surgery. Yelp can not publish that photo because it is too graphic. Additionally, the results of the implants were different from what was initially shown to him, affecting his ability to smile fully because the implant is visible. My father has fallen into deep depression and has since contacted an attorney and is pursuing legal action to address these issues.
