Worst clinic I have ever been to, ambiguous and high service charge, a 15 min cleaning plus X-ray cost 600$ plus,they did all those without even asking me and confirming the price I felt like getting scammed by this dental office. My experience: Inexperienced dentist seen by me the other day. Diagnosed my painful tooth as showing nothing wrong on the x-ray, and that a root canal would probably fix the issue. What a mistake. The tooth got incredibly worse, to the point where I was not getting more than 2-3 hours sleep a night. Excruciating pain encroached with every night that was passing. Had to move to a new town just after this emergency visit (and poor diagnosis) and was struggling to keep it together until I could see another dentist for a second opinion. Turns out I had a vertical fracture in the tooth - something the guy at Markham NS Dental missed. How do you miss this? Bad eyewear? Dirty mirrors? No idea. (BTW, this was the SECOND time I had been to this office for this particular tooth's pain. Again - how do you miss a vertical fracture?) The fracture was starting to become infected and thankfully, I found a 3rd dentist that was able to do a full (and very necessary) extraction resulting in complete relief from the pain I thought I was going to lose my mind over. If you want good emergency services and accurate diagnoses - do not go to Markham NS Dental. Glad I'm in a new town with a new dentist who knows what's what. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. They perform procedures you don't need and at the same time make terrible mistakes that could cause long-term complications. They performed fillings trapping decay in the tooth. At the same time they damaged enamel significantly on one of the teeth. read more

I have to agree with the other two reviews here. My first visit, I felt they may have charged too much for a first cleaning and Xray. I asked about the various fees that I was being charged for after I was finished, and I felt they were being very shady about their responses and couldn't give me straight answers. The hygienist and dentist themselves were very nice people, and did a good job as far as I could tell. However, I felt it's the management and the push to make as much money from insurance providers I did not appreciate. I attempted to cancel the next appointment about a few months later, and the receptionist mentioned something if I had any other slots the rest of that day, and I said I wasn't sure. She sounded very disappointed and stated that the hygienist would be "doing nothing for that hour" even though I was cancelling with more than 48 hours notice! Overall, will not be going back. read more

This place is literally the WORST PLACE you can go to! Its very clear that all the staff are pushing you to spend more money than needed. They charge way too much for the bullshit service that they are providing! Absolutely the worst of all places! read more

100 % the WORST experience i have EVER had. Absolutely awful. I severely chipped my front tooth and this team of "highly trained dentists" (especially the male one whose name is not in the team information anymore thank god) had the audacity to scam me because of my ethnicity. I brought my chipped tooth in, and they said, in their exact words "its absolutely impossible to glue or attach it back together, no dentist can do it", so they suggested i just get a full crown which costs thousands of $$$. Skeptical, i went to my family dentist and presented them the exact same situation as i did at NS Dental. I did not feel the need to bring my tooth to them because "there was nothing i could do about it, no dentist could fix it", yet my family dentist told me it was easily attachable. Bottom line is, NS Dental has no ethics when it comes to healthcare, and no morals. All they try to do is suck you out of all your hard earned money and give you false information because we are just middle classed citizens that don't know any better right? Because i'm Chinese you think i have thousands of dollars to spend on my teeth? NEVER EVER come to this place again and tell all your friends its a HUGE waste of time & money. Very Spacious and modern dental clinic, the Dentist and the staffs are very professional and friendly

Service has been great. Dr. Nalini Sutharsan and the staff have been very professional. They have been very informative towards my options and weren't pushy in moving forward. They permited time to review my situation and decide what was best for me. I have grown to have friendly relationships with the staff and look forward to going to each appointment.I highly recommended to go to Markham NS Dental. read more
