In fact don't believe the prices for "special offers" because they don't honour them at the cashier. Even when you complain and say that's not the price on the shelf, the staff don't care and leave you with the option of "pay this price or leave it." Aisles are narrow and cramped, there's not much room to move around or get past another customer. I was immensely disappointed by my experience shopping here. It won't be on my list to return to in future.

I live nearby and it has saved me hopping in the car and going to Home Depot or similar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I have also found the odd thing here that is sold out elsewhere (Ie like cleaning goods) too, fyi. Always great to shop local and help keep those small businesses alive too! :) FYI, you can look online and see if the item is in stock before you head over.

The service is very personal and the staff is great. Even for small things they make the effort to please you and smile. If they don't have something in stock they are genuinely sorry and apologize for it. Then they order it for you. More than once I have seen them carrying goods to a customers car and refuse the offered tip. This is all pretty amazing since the owner is based in his other store except for one day a week. He has made excellent choices in his staff!

It's pretty conveniently located close to Weston Road, with a large parking lot, and pickup area for bulky items. Sometimes you have to hunt a bit for staff on the ground, and sometimes they're part timers whose knowledge isn't particularly in-depth. On the other hand, dedicated staff at some of the specialty counters, like our experience in the bathroom section, were very helpful in spending a good amount of time going over different products to choose from. The garden section is a bit lacking as they only display decorative pieces on the ground. I was told that for basic concrete forms, they don't carry them there. I would have to go online and order them, which really didn't help me as I wanted to see the actual pieces to rebuild our back patio. I ended up having to go to specialty stores to be able to see the product. It's great to have them nearby. Their hours are convenient. I'm sure I'll have many occasions to return.

Bought a Napoleon Prestige BBQ at this store August 16, 2023. We like to buy Canadian if we can…read moreand we know Napoleon is a good product. The store even put it together for us which was great. This BBQ works great, it is at our cottage, and it has not been used that much. When we went to change our propane tank in July 2025, we noticed the doors that open there are lined with a hard plastic. This plastic is all melting. None of our other BBQ's had plastic inside these doors. We did not notice it as we had not needed to change our propane tank. We reached out to the store and they said that since it is past a year, we need to contact Napoleon - which we did try to do. Spent over an hour on two tries to get through to customer service. Then tried on line with no response. My husband called the Aurora store and spoke with the BBQ person - they then submitted our claim. That was August 6 - no word back yet. Not very happy. We thought shopping at a local Canadian store and buying a Canadian BBQ would be the best. But not happy. I have some good pictures of the melting doors if anyone wants to see them. We would like metal doors for this BBQ. We have been looking at BBQ's now when we are out and they all have metal doors - just like our old BBQ's.

My competitive purchase today was White Lithium Grease in a spray can for $8.99 while CTC sells it for $13.99 online. I bought 2 cans, one for my Brother who owns lots of recreational toys! Checkout was quick since my phone number was still in the Princess Auto database!
