We've been enjoying great wine from C.V. for years, often chosen with the help of their excellent staff. This past Sunday we went to brunch at their wine tasting bar and lounge. So yummy! But what really struck us was what a wonderfully, welcoming environment it exuded. A happy group of diverse diners, enjoying the delicious offerings. And again, just as in the wine shop, the staff were helpful, happy and professional.

Lil Red Wagon, I think I would chase you down for your steak nachos. That is, when I can find you. You don't seem to get out much, or at least not where I can get to you. Yes, I've tried other things on your short menu, and those, too, are good, but it will be those nachos for me. I don't know why. Among the other things I don't know: the connection between the name of the food truck and the food itself. It's all okay, though, because the name caught my attention enough to give their food a try, and if I hadn't done that, I would have missed out on those nachos.

We went for brunch on Sunday around 11:30 and although it was packed, our wait was only about 20 minutes, which was impressive for how busy they were. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive the entire time. My husband ordered the veggie hash and I had the loaded hash browns with asparagus and broccolini added, both were so flavorful and fresh. For our daughter, we kept it simple with one egg, a sausage patty, and bacon, and we also added a pancake with strawberries for the table. Everything was delicious! Overall, such a wonderful spot with a warm atmosphere and great food. This will definitely become a staple for our family!

Jack cheese is a much better bet. Good hollandaise but much too thin. Service was attentive, though I didn't appreciate the menu toss on the table from the hostess. It came off a little flippant, though perhaps was unintentional.

In regard to the signs I was "looking at the whole time" I saw that they accept cards and prefer cash but don't take checks. I didn't see anything about a credit service charge, regardless; I've came here before and it was great, this time must've been a bad day I suppose. I was just upset that I was charged $9.68 extra and found out after the fact. Initial review: Very disappointing, I went in to get steaks for my birthday. When I walk in the guy looks at me then walks to the back. I then was told the total was $72.50, and after the purchase the receipt said $82.18. She said "oh yeah there's a service fee for all cards". Not only was the fee not posted anywhere there's a service fee, but 12% is ridiculous.

I don't have the impression they have anything pre-cooked; it's all made upon ordering. I like that approach because soggy fried chicken is not a positive. If you're in a hurry, it's probably best to order ahead. While I cannot say anything against the size of the chicken pieces, sometimes when I've ordered, I can tell the oil in which it's been fried is not fresh. It gives the batter and the fries an unpleasant taste that the sauces (there are various options) does nothing to hide. In those situations, remove the batter and the chicken itself is okay. The fries are crispy, which I rather like for some reason. Overall, Fingers and Fries is an okay food truck and a nice option from the burger, taco and Asian-food truck choices.

It's a family owned shop with fresh cut meats, mostly beef and pork, but there is also various kinds of bacon, deli meats, jerky, brats, and sausages. There's usually a special of some kind. From time to time, they have buffalo meat and chicken. They also will do deer processing. During the lunch hours, they have a special highlighting the meats -- a sandwich, a slider, maybe a loaded baked potato -- something small, but always tasty. It should be enough to convince you their meats are equally good -- and they are. Friendly group of people, good place to get local Montana meats for dinner, and at lunch, have a small snack.
