Then well into the appointment, once the dental hygienist was done cleaning, the dental hygienist announced to me that my examination would be done "by Dr. Lee", a dentist of whom I had never heard up until that moment. This unknown Dr. Lee recommended I extract a mobile tooth; when I tried to inquire what the advantages were of extracting the tooth rather than just waiting for it to come out by itself, he brushed off my questions and walked away. I waited for the tooth to come out, which it did painlessly ten months later, and saved myself the pain and expense of extraction.

I am vulnerable to covid, so I need to take precautions. They were great about that. All staff wore masks, as well as patients before they were being worked on. Would not recommend. Carolyn herself was great, but unfortunately, some of the other dentists she…read morehires was terrible. It seems like she is too busy running the business to properly quality-control the people working under her. I had a filling done on my back molar by one of the other dentists, and it was not done properly. My bite was noticeably off because the filling was left way too high and was not ground down enough to fit my bite and tooth anatomy. This caused a lot of pain and toothaches afterward. It was also extremely difficult to floss because the area between my teeth was left rough and jagged instead of being properly smoothed. I brush my teeth multiple times a day and floss regularly, but despite that, I later developed decay underneath that filling and had to have the entire thing redone by a different dentist. I also had an experience where one of Carolyn's dental assistants could not floss between my teeth. I understand that I have a very tight contact between my teeth, but I have never had that happen at another dental office before. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of care I received here. Carolyn may be a good dentist herself, but based on my experience with the other staff, I would not recommend this office.

Park Lake Dental has been my dental provider for probably about 18 years. As a child I was very…read morenervous about going to the dentist due to some previous traumatic experiences. They were, and still are, very respectful of my concerns and sensitivities. From the first two or three visits, they remembered my needs without me having to remind them. Only once have I ever had a small issue with their work (filling was not perfect, caused painful bite) and they were very responsive to that. When my insurance provider changed, I was very worried when I learned they didn't take my new insurance. I hesitantly asked what my out-of-pocket cost would be without any insurance. It was VERY reasonable, and for context, I'm definitely on the lower end of the earning spectrum. It's been a few years now and even when I need fillings and x-rays, the cost is very affordable. Park Lake Dental is very convenient in that they are just a few minutes from my house. That said, they are so excellent I would gladly travel 30-45 minutes just to know that I will receive the absolute best care. Today I brought my 3 and a half year old daughter for her first ever dentist visit. They couldn't have been more encouraging and supportive. They offered her surprise toys and stickers for doing well, they were enthusiastic and very friendly with her, and even had a supportive friend she got to interact with which made her day. My daughter has been so excited all day and has been telling everyone her friends at the dentist were so nice to her. TL;DR: I can't imagine ever changing providers. I don't think anyone else would give as thorough, cost-effective, and empathetic care. I highly suggest Park Lake Dental for anyone who either does not have or isn't happy with their current dental provider.

Welcoming, professional and compassionate at every encounter. A day before my appointment I was emailed a Covid questionnaire, and my temperature was taken upon arrival. Staff wearing masks and face shields. A very efficiency run practice. Crystal who answered the phone also did my x-rays, the doctor also took photos of my teeth, did a full examination, went over my hot spots with suggestions and treatment plans, and he did my cleaning. The dental assistant was in there assisting with water and suction while the doctor used the ultrasound to clean, picks for under the gums and polished. Quick, painless (always checked to see if I was comfortable and could raise my hand to indicate sensitivity) and professional. Dr. Tsang and I had a frank discussion about my gums and overall teeth health and I left with a plan, follow up visit and equipment to better care for my oral health. Your parting gift bag does not include a .50 generic toothbrush and floss, but a spin brush for better gum health, floss and toothpaste. He also suggested using an air floss which I purchased from him for less than Target prices (I checked). Dr. Tsang and his office are true professionals who care for your health and treat you as a person and not a wallet. Their cash client discounts are significant and much better than my prior who only gave me 10% discount. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you Dr. Tsang, Crystal and staff!

What impressed me most was her precision and dedication. She didn't just "fix" my teeth--she made sure the results looked and felt perfect. I walked out of her office not only with a healthier smile, but with a whole new level of confidence and comfort I never thought I'd feel at the dentist. And I have to say, her entire team is just as incredible. Every staff member was warm, professional, and welcoming.
