But she is so good! So compassionate and so supportive with all the health issues I am dealing with, but the call center ! Horrible! Making appointments! Horrible! Getting seeing sooner ! Horrible! Customer service! Not good! Except for this last time that sweet young lady finally heard my voice and my concern and got me taken care of by my appointment I needed within the three months the practitioner asked to see me in the three months not 9 months like the last time! At times I do want to find another gastroenterologist clinic but I won't for Mary Helmerich! She is Amazing! Everything else they seriously need to work on!

The waiting area is safe and comfortable. Plenty of room for people to wait. They have the procedures down to an art. Very organized and efficient. In and out within a reasonable amount of time. Follow up next day with phone call to make sure everything was ok. They only problem came with the lack of additional follow up in a reasonable amount of time. Over a month to get pathology reports back.

I was a 68-yr old disabled senior, who met Ms Matteionni at Renown Hospital, when she diagnosed me with probable gall stones. I am homebound, and with limited mobillity and transportation, she permenently ejected me from Gastroenterology Consultents, which I had gone too for over 10 yrs, without incident. However, due to my conditions, Covid-19 etc, I missed 1 appts, or was late, and with a total of 3 incidents in exactly 3 yrs; in one case, my appt was at 2:00 pm, and we were expected there 15 min early, but I was taking an UBER and got there at 2:05 pm. Her Office then not only refused to see me, but made sure that I was permently terminated from the GE Consultments without me being able to defend myself, or have any recourse whatsoever. Not once, had I EVER been late to the appt I had at GE other than her, and therefore I now am unable, without great duress to go way South of town, many miles away from home. Being now 70, Homebound, I see nothing of the kind and professional attributes that her patients see in her. I have known more than one persons in the area, who feel and have experienced her nasty, retributive manner. If you wish to partner with such a narcissist, I feel for you.

They completely missed my vein (two nurses) and the doctor started the procedure without checking if any sedation or memory block was working. I screamed five times in terror asking him to stop. The doctor asked the nurses to give me more sedation, however since there was not a needle in my vein, I received no medication at all. I was gripping the bed rails while the nurse told me I had to keep quiet and quit screaming. I could not say anything but "STOP". Everyone in that room ignored me. I was completely violated.

She was extremely professional, caring and my appointment was very successful. My entire experience, from office check-in to my visit with Abigail, was very efficient and professional. I was very pleased. Unfortunately, throat cancer intervened and my colonoscopy was put on hold for several months. Once my cancer was successfully treated, Dr. Gilles performed my colonoscopy Dec. 2025 - He was absolutely brilliant!). I was extremely pleased with the entire process and results. I am currently seeing Abigail and Dr. Gilles again for possible esophageal cancer and other stomach issues.
