there is no words to describe my experience with Dr. Crenshaw . I changed old doctor and moved with her. she is really great and very experienced . I really had bad experience with my old doctor but when I decided to go with her It was just a relief. anything I complained from during pregnancy she explained it to me. if I was worried from anything she did all the test that would assure me . she is a great Doctor . and blessed one. if you are really did not decided whom to go with , take my word do with her. After bad experiences with other local doctors, I decided to follow some early advice in life and pursue a good female physician. My first encounters with Dr. Crenshaw and her staff was good. Because of symptoms and signs I was displaying she ordered some tests and xrays. After completing all the tests, I never heard back from Doctor Crenshaw. A couple months later when the symptoms continued, I called her office. Rather then address my medical situation, the office staff instead made a case for the fact that they had called me back after my procedures (this was not the case however.) I said I would like to talk to the doctor, and waited again for weeks to no avail. Due to the fact that my symptoms have continued after leaving my last job (and losing insurance), I now started to apply for personal insurance. I have been denied due to a "Disorder" that was found during the procedures that Dr. Crenshaw ordered. This was news to me, so I called Dr. Crenshaw's office again. Both office staff I spoke to continued to effectively block any attempts I made to speak with Dr. Crenshaw (mainly because they claim she wont do telephone consults and I must see her in person). I continued to ask the office staff a few questions, and was quickly hung-up on. So, here I sit with an unexplained "Disorder" that wont allow me to get health coverage. This "disorder" was found in tests Dr. Crenshaw ordered. Dr. Crenshaw wont speak on the phone with me (I am a few hours away now). Her office staff is now rude (they hang-up on me) with me and unhelpful other than telling me to make appointments with her or a local doctor (well duh!). Cant make an appointment with =out coverage, cant understand what Dr. Crenshaw reported on my last insurance which causes me to not get insurance. I am now paying my part of tests/exams in the thousands, and have a "Disorder' that has yet to be explained to me by the Doctor who ordered the tests months ago. Yet this Doctor wont speak on the phone with patients. Weird rule and worse circle of non-support that I am now in. I am planning to find a new doctor as Doctor Crenshaw and her staff have made it loud and clear that they don't welcome me which really boils down to the fact that they don't welcome people who are to the point and trying to follow-up on their own conditions. read more

She's smart, keeps herself abreast of current studies, has a good bed-side manner, and she cares about patients, instead of cash first.

After not having had a "regular" doctor visit in, I don't know, 10 years or so, I was a little nervous about finally going. Kind of like when you don't go to the dentist in a while, you're scared of what they might find. But in the end there were no worries, Dr. Crenshaw has great bedside manners, is friendly and engaging, and offers the right big-picture perspective in terms of your overall health. She's very limited in her knowledge and easily takes offense at questions asked by the patient not offering a full range of answers or alternatives. She says she cares about you and wants to help, but I believe her narrow-mindedness and general lack of experience shoots her down a few notches. Unfortunately, like most doctors these days, she is not interested in causes, but merely masking the symptoms. I wouldn't be writing this if I hadn't looked at the report in my medical records, which displayed some quick assumptions and judgmental errors. Fab Doctor, unless u piss her off...she start out wonderful, we have been seeing her for the last 5 years, my husband has recently had some serious medical issues, she tried to help, basically ran out of options..went to see her to see what she might suggest as a last option, I took notes on my phone as she decided what to prescribe for him, when I went to pick it up at the pharmacy I did not look at it until I got home, called the office and her nurse said "I knew that he was allergic to that med and was wondering why she had me call it in". So they called in another rx for him that was the correct one( the one that I had put in my phone). I get a call from Paula , she's at home and she is upset with me !! I tell her everyone makes mistakes , its ok, she says "I believe you think I'm stupid", I said no I don't, I just think you made a mistake... Guess What??? She discharged my husband and myself as patients , and the next day he had an allergic reaction to the new drug... AND WE NO LONGER HAVE A DR !! So, Thank You Paula Crenshaw... I would rather vist my Dogs Vet than see you You are a horrible person for doing what you did, and I hope you have had as many sleepless nights as we have !! read more

Well I can not say I have the opportunity to actually see the Doctor. I made a new patient appointment two months out. I was told my appointment was @ 3:30, go to web site and download new patient paperwork and return it. I received a call three days before my appointment by a snooty woman telling me I needed to return it, so I immediately faxed it so as to not jeopardize my appointment date. I arrived at the designated time (3:30) and was told that I was late and the Dr. would not see me. I was informed that I should have been told to arrive a half hour early so the paperwork and Med Assistant could take my vitals before I saw the Dr. at 3:30. I asked why my appointment was not made for 3:00 to give the time needed to perform these task and then the Dr. could see me at 3:30. I was given the answer by a very uninterested front desk clerk that this is how things were done with new patients. I was given another appointment for two months in the future. So, make an appointment at 3:30 but show up a half hour early, it doesn't make sense. Why not make the appointment at 3:00? I don't think I want to go to a Medical practice that can not run an office efficiently. read more

Dr Crenshaw has been our doctor for several years now and is kind and does have good bedside manner. Her staff on the other hand is unprofessional, rude and as said by other reviews hard to work with. Both my husband and I and some friends have had major issuer with getting prescriptions refilled and staff not calling back. It took a week for one friend of calling back and fourth from the pharmacy to the office to get a plain ole every day med refilled. We as well have been given the same run around by staff saying that the doctor has and knows about the refill request and then when we call the next day they say they did not ever get the refill requisition from the pharmacy. Ugggg über frustrating! So bottom line for me is that the office has lost all credibility and we will not be returning. Hopefully they get new staff. read more
