The front desk staff at this medical office consistently lacks the correct paperwork, and is unresponsive to phone calls. When asked about it in person I was met with rude language and escalating behavior in front of the entire waiting room. When pushed on a mistake made by an employee that costs me a lot of money- Ivan at the front desk told me that she wasn't trained properly and berated me for asking any follow up questions. I would never allow any family members to come here and be treated so inhumanely. The audio diagnostic test I had done was also extremely rushed, so much so that I feel the tech was not paying attention. This place is a huge red flag.

We CONFIRMED the appointment two days before. Left our house at 5 am to drive to Sparks, drop off the dog with my mom and drove another hour to Carson for the appointment. So, well OVER 4 HOUR DRIVE to get to the appointment we'd WAITED WEEKS for to get my husband's ears checked out and see why his hearing is going in and out since his stroke. We arrived at the hospital 15 min before the appt, filled out the paperwork then waited...and waited...and waited. About AN HOUR LATER the receptionist asked if he'd had his examination yet. NOPE. She said that's not right and checked to see what was going on. She messaged the doctor (I do not remember which doctor to whom he was assigned) but no response, so she called the doctor and requested they check their messages. The doctor responded "reschedule". When the receptionist pointed out how far we had to drive that day for that appointment and how much it cost us in gas to get there and we still had to drive home the doctor just responded, "no choice, reschedule". The receptionist was not happy to give us this news. She was extremely pleasant and helpful and noted in our file in great detail what actually happen so no one can say it was our fault. It COST US $130 IN GAS, round trip, for this FAILURE of an appointment--and NO, we did not reschedule with this "provider". They DISRESPECTED an Air Force Veteran, gave no excuses whatsoever. (I'm guessing because it was to be paid by the VAMC and probably wouldn't receive the full amount of their exorbitant fees.) If we failed to show up, or showed up late, we'd been charged a fee for the inconvenience to them. What about the INCONVENIECE to us for their FAILURE to follow through with the appointment we were on time for???? As far as we're concerned, they owe us at least for the gas. However, I'd say they also owe us more for our WAISTED TRIP as well. I guarantee they won't be so inclined to offer payment. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND Carson Tahoe ENT Associates to anyone I know for any services at any time. There is NO TRUST and NO RESPECT for them from us, they didn't earn it. Shame on CT-ENT Ass.

I went to SNHAC because their office shares the lobby with his office and they sell Starkey hearing aids. I bought the Livio 2400 AI hearing aids in 2020-$7600 thinking they would do everything the specifications promised. The first thing I learned was - the hearing aid features are only as good as the people programming them. Although I have had battery issues with my Livio's since the beginning, the hearing aids, in general, performed as told WHEN PROGRAMMED PROPERLY. During the first three years, adjustments don't cost "per visit" and you are cared for with a smile until you present with too many adjustments or battery replacements. Your "warranty" will expire in three years and it will cost you $741+ to have them serviced and then pay for every visit after. You will be charged a "set-up" visit when your renewed aids come back, $65. If you need an adjustment after that, you will be charged another $65. Great, especially on a fixed income! These charges are not unique in the world of hearing aid merchants, but it's something they don't emphasize at the initial purchase. Have a problem after the warranty expires? You will be told that your hearing aids are "four years old" as if the care you gave them didn't matter because to them, it doesn't. They stay in business by selling you new devices because yours have upgrades that are no longer supported or they are just plain obsolete... Sounds like a cell phone right? (Speaking of which, iPhone and Android are coming up with reasonably priced hearing solutions for people like myself.) My point is, when I have a problem with a high-end, high-cost item I have purchased, I expect service with a smile and genuine concern for my satisfaction and health. I don't expect the receptionist to act like I interrupted her break or like I'm on an outpatient visit from the sanitorium. I don't appreciate the giggling in the back and sour attitude over the counter. I need help to keep my hearing aids going as long as I can now that I'm on a fixed income. I'm fed up with this office and finally called Starkey to file a complaint (800) 328-8602 and let them know what my experience has been with Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center and to please suggest another Starkey provider in the area. Done. They took my device S/N's and offered to help me over the phone. However, one of my devices is on it's way back to the factory - again. The company also gave me a number for Starkey that can give assistance to qualified parties for the purchase of new hearing aids, (855) 686-2202. The office audiology visit was pretty good and is the reason there are two stars instead of zero. The Starky company was concerned about their product performance and my problems over the four years - five stars for them. I have not cussed or yelled at the receptionist. Perhaps it's just bad chemistry? Regardless, my purchase is one among many that has paid your salary and kept your door open. I don't like leaving bad reviews for local businesses but four years of "hassling to hear" has done me in. Shop around and decide for yourself.

Three months ago I met with Dr. Hudson and his team and was given three options. Dr. Hudson recommended a sinus balloon dilation. Did the procedure and there was a drastic improvement in my breathing. I am a CPAP user and I no longer need to use sinus sprays before sleep. I just wish I had found this practice earlier but I am so thankful to my primary physician, Dr. Tyhssen for setting it up. Great Doctor and staff and a very happen patient. Never thought I would rave about a medical procedure but this warranted it.

The office manager has a bad attitude and is condescending. I am already a patient there, not looking for anything free but to get an appointment to remedy a sinus infection. She kept repeating go to urgent care which is a complete waste of time. I definitely will not be back, a good customer that can't even get a simple request met that I would have gladly paid for. Unbelievable.
