Called David and as is customary, he picked up the phone and I informed him of the situation. David said to give him a bit of time and he would call me back. True to his word, which is the norm with David, he did and informed me that one of his techs, Alejandro, would be arriving in 15-20 minutes, which he did. Alejandro assessed the situation and had the necessary parts in his truck to perform the repair on the spot, which he did flawlessly. He also performed a tune up and lubricated all of the necessary components. The garage door is in perfect working order thanks to Alejandro. We had a budget, and he helped us keep to it, but he really went above and beyond that. Other vendors told us there was no way to keep the 130 year window moldings, but Turab not only helped us keep them, but had so many neat tricks to improve our restoration project. Other vendors just gave us offers against our project scope, but Turab explained to us the dynamics of different windows in different parts of the house and what types worked best and saved us money. He made custom moldings for our cellar windows. He also helped us out to stop a fly tipping incident one day when we were out and not able to deal with it ourselves. And when it was pouring with rain and our basement flooded, he went outside and took a really long and hard look and told us what the problem was. They wanted $1,000 to fix after I paid $12,500 in full day of completion Jan 2019. Jeff Bershad wrote 10 years guaranteed on all labor siding work...so I guess this guarantee worth nothing. When they found out it's bigger problem than just hole in J channel, they said have someone else fix it! I got other opinions from other siding experts & they don't want to touch it because it's J&B responsibility...& they also say it's worst siding job they ever seen. Also that it will blow away with windstorm. Needless to say, I've had to file complaints with Consumers Affairs & BBB ..whom J&B Home Improvements has "F" rating. I hope to prevent someone else losing their hard earned money.
