I inquired on how long the job would take based on pictures I sent over, and he replied "an hour max, and it will probably be a couple screws and glue" Communication was OK overall. Lee contacted me on a Monday and asked for the address, email and phone number and asked about my availability for the remainder of the week. I didn't receive a response to my reply, so I had to follow up the next day. We were able to get the job scheduled for the same Friday and his team came to complete the project utilizing a lockbox we provided. I didn't receive any updates during the job, which probably would have helped the surprise of the invoice I later received that was $232.35 when I was expecting something closer to $100 based on our first conversation. Lee did promptly reply and let me know that they thought they would hit a stud but since there was nothing, the job was more complicated as they had to create the support. Overall, still a solid experience and I would still consider using Lee and Finest Fix in the future.

I didn't want a small problem to become a large one, I couldn't fix it myself, so on the recommendation to use Mr. Handyman on Larkfield Road in East Northport I called them. Cassandra and Anita, the two young ladies who run the office, take the phone calls, were very helpful. They were friendly, they were professional. They took my situation seriously and got somebody out here as soon as possible. You get notification that the technician is on his way with a picture of him and his name so you know exactly what to expect Jim C. was the technician assigned to my home to do the job. He was very friendly. He was helpful, he explained things which put me at ease regarding my problem. The whole process was fast, easy & efficient. I'm very pleased. He left everything clean & the job done. I will use them again.

And also why am I paying someone to come see a job and talk about paying them more? And secondly, they quoted me 16,600 to build a 6ft wall and doorway in my (finished) basement, and hang 4 doors (which they decided they wanted to make smaller and take apart in a pretty much finish basement.... Which is pretty obscene. I've done a lot of work in past so it's pretty high up there. Would've given zero stars if I could, but one star would only be for the gentleman who showed up (and just works for the company and doing his job) was very nice and personable and also seemed knowledgeable. And I'm sure he is not the one making this huge upcharges in work. But overall I wouldn't recommend and also felt it was weird and sneaky to charge me after the estimate 80 dollars to come to my house to talk about the job. The company should be paying their workers for their time, or have them disclose and ask for the payment when they arrive so I could have the opportunity to decline. So for that alone it reflects as dishonest.

My Vanity was outdated and we kept a plastic container under the pipes to catch the water. It was embarrassing! Charlie removed the toilet the vanity and the floor. He reinforced the beams under the floor and it took two days to repair the mess under the floor from decades of neglect. He replaced the floor and a myriad of things. To make this long review shorter, I now have a beautiful bathroom That is beyond my expectations. Charlie is a Licensed, Experienced, conscientious professional, who does nothing half way. Jim built a beautiful built-in bookcase in my house and installed cove crown molding in several of the rooms of our 1888 house, along with a picture rail in one of them. He did an absolutely expert job (despite the variations in the ceilings and walls) for a very reasonable price. Jim is kind, calm, honest, mature, and professional and is an excellent communicator. When my wife and I get ready to redo the kitchen and bathroom, he is the one we will call. Highly, highly recommended.
