A great experience from start to finish. Walked in and Dave, the owner had exactly what we needed since we live in a community that requires certain specs. He quoted a cost but said he would send Dave N., his salesperson to confirm and measure. Dave agreed on the price and threw in the pet screening for no cost. Here's the beauty of doing business with Prown's. They then sent one of their two installers to come and confirm what was to be done and if anything special was required. The installers, Lou and Bill were great. They're the key. If the installers aren't attentive, the job doesn't come out right. You won't have that problem with Prown's. Very meticulous and showed a genuine concern for your property. Patio Door works great. We even had them install a storm door. They also removed our window treatments and reinstalled them for no charge. Again a perfect job. Can't say enough good about them. Prowns is quite simply the best at what they do. I had windows replaced this week after waiting over a year for condo association inspections and approvals. Throughout the process David Prown provided whatever was necessary to be sure all requirements were met prior to installation. When the day for replacement arrived Billy and Lou were on time, worked efficiently , and installed the most beautiful windows in my home! They demonstrated how each window worked and cleaned up so well it was as if they were never there! Simply awesome experience! I would highly recommend all my family and friends to use Prown's. From start to finish we had a positive experience. The salesman who came to my house was professional and did not pressure us to buy something we did not want. Also the price of the shower door was very fair and the quality was superior to any of the large chain stores. On installation day the Prown's crew showed up on time and installed the shower door in a reasonable amount of time without any mess. The finished product looked fantastic and was higher quality than expected. It was what we wanted and more. There is a reason Prown's has been in business for over 90 years and counting. We had 5 doors replaced by Prown's some 4 or so years ago, and I'm constantly reminded of the quality of these doors every time I close and open them. They're solid, look good, seal well, and are very mark resistant, while the screen door on one of them is also top notch. The rubber scraper at the bottom shrank over the years and Prowns fixed that by replacing it. So when we needed 4 windows, it stood to reason to call in Prowns again, and the windows are phenomenal, strong, clear, and they match the other windows well. They're not inexpensive, but you truly get what you pay for and we're very happy with the service, the promptness, and the quality. We'd recommend both Prowns' windows and doors anytime! read more

Very professional and honest which can be rare. We are purchasing a home in tinton falls and there had been some question about the bedroom window that is 3 windows molded together. Our home inpection stated it needed to be repaired or replaced because of excess movement. Dave arrived right on time inspected the window and said "why do you want to place this window?". He then assured us that the window however not the best, is sound enough for now and not in need of replacement. He did not try to sell anything. I will definitely keep Prowns name and use only them in the future. Honesty is hard to come by. Prowns has been in bussiness for 90 plus years. Not a starter company. read more

We couldn't have been happier with their service from start to finish. After visiting the store, a salesperson came to my home and assisted me from start to finish in selecting the best materials for the job based on my needs and budget. I have used Prowns for blinds, radiator covers and windows for many years. When I needed blinds for a new room, I called them. They are very nice to work with. If they can't do something, they tell you. Karen who helps you select blinds has your interests in mind. Ordering is easy, delivery as stated or faster. The quality and workmanship of this American made door cannot be matched by what you might see in a big box store. I have used Prowns in the past, and the mark of a trustworthy company is that they have the same installers year after year! We had some new basement windows installed, and they are and improvement over the original windows which were much less energy efficient.
