    This happened not once, not twice, but THREE times.

    An abomination of a company. Steer clear! The summary- I spent just under 3,000 on a total of 3 standard size windows. They ripped out of my wall, not once, not twice, but 3x. I should have known problems would ensue when the installer came to put my blinds up and he moved my furniture to install and left never returning the furniture to its place nor cleaning up the drywall mess from installation. When the rods ripped out for the first time I was lucky enough to have the initial installer assigned to my house. This time, he was as high as a kite and left my house with a pungent smell of it. I asked him to please double check all of his work, which he clearly did not, because they ripped out a 2nd time but in a different location. This time I got a nice guy, a supposed manager, but clearly as clueless as the first because his work also ripped out of the wall. Let me add, these curtains are in a babies room and are kept closed and untouched for extended periods of time. I started working with a customer service manager, Destinee Lewis in August to resolve my issue and here I am in October with blankets still over my windows and my issue NOT resolved. I have to send every email a minimum of two times to get a response. Then, my email in not addressed in its entirety leaving me to have to follow up AGAIN. Talk about frustrating and incompetent. I have been kind, patient and polite in all of my correspondences and have a email trail to prove it. They had no problem collecting my money, but cannot support fixing THEIR mistake in a timely capacity. And sadly, I was told this issue of my rod pulling out is "not uncommon." I have wasted so much of my time in dealing with this clueless company. Buyers beware! Unless you want to spend a premium on a subpar product with horrible customer service then look elsewhere!

    *** update previous review***…read more I finally connected with Monique who said she would offer me $150 "from her side" because their finance department supposedly wouldn't approve any compensation because they WON the case. Yet she still required my credit card, clearly indicating this wasn't coming from her personally. She also admitted that she could have offered compensation that started at 5%, increasing to 10%, 15%, and even 20% up to over $600 till I was satisfied, but only if I didn't dispute with my cc. That's unethical. I was transparent about being overseas caring for my elderly mother, and told them I'd resolve it when I returned. Instead, I was met with resistance, unclear communication, and a company more concerned about protecting commission than delivering a quality customer experience. If you value transparency, fairness, or basic professionalism, stay far away. I've emailed customer service as suggested by Kim in response to my previous review to resolve the issue which I have done. Let's see if they contact me and do the right thing or prove this is their standard response window dressing without any intention of taking care of their customers. This ordeal dragged on over 4 months!

The valance for one of the blinds was too short, even though they came to measure beforehand. They did come back to replace it but that took another 3 weeks. The bottom of the blinds look unfinished with hanging threads throughout. I was promised a partial refund which was a lie - it never materialized.

    We love our new blinds from Garden State Blinds! They look really nice and were a reasonable price…read morefor the quality. We did three sets of windows and also a slider for the patio door. For two of the windows, we did the faux wood slated blinds, which is style we were familiar with. For our bedroom window, we tried something new, which is the honeycomb cell shade that blocks light and that can be slid from the top down or the bottom up. This is a wonderful feature for the bedroom so that we get the privacy of the lower part of the window being covered, but we're able to let in light and look outside through the top part. Something that really made this company easy to work with is that all the people I interacted with were amazingly accommodating and helpful. Starting with Vito Conforti, the president, and then his son Andrew, who came to our house for the initial consultation and showed me all the different samples and help me pick colors and styles. All the people who answered the phone and did scheduling and answered my questions were polite and helpful and quick to respond. The installer Zach was an impressive young man who worked through a challenging install situation. We had just moved in and a lot of our furniture and boxes were blocking access to the windows and Zach very kindly moved things for me and even help me break down boxes for recycling and stack them up. That is going above and beyond what he came here to do and I really appreciated his help and good attitude. Additionally, they gave us a tin of Dutch shortbread cookies which are my favorite. It's so refreshing do business with an independent family owned company. Everyone here puts all their heart into what they do and this really sets them apart from chain and franchise businesses. If you want blinds for your windows, come here, and I guarantee you will be very happy that you did.

I highly recommend them and appreciate the none sales pitch attitude, straight forward conversation and on to the next project. They are a great value and provided more than the service requested.
