They stand behind their product I purchased blinds 12 years ago and went in to purchase two new ones. Jorge was super helpful and knowledgeable. An abomination of a company. Steer clear! The summary- I spent just under 3,000 on a total of 3 standard size windows. They ripped out of my wall, not once, not twice, but 3x. I should have known problems would ensue when the installer came to put my blinds up and he moved my furniture to install and left never returning the furniture to its place nor cleaning up the drywall mess from installation. When the rods ripped out for the first time I was lucky enough to have the initial installer assigned to my house. This time, he was as high as a kite and left my house with a pungent smell of it. I asked him to please double check all of his work, which he clearly did not, because they ripped out a 2nd time but in a different location. This time I got a nice guy, a supposed manager, but clearly as clueless as the first because his work also ripped out of the wall. Let me add, these curtains are in a babies room and are kept closed and untouched for extended periods of time. I started working with a customer service manager, Destinee Lewis in August to resolve my issue and here I am in October with blankets still over my windows and my issue NOT resolved. I have to send every email a minimum of two times to get a response. Then, my email in not addressed in its entirety leaving me to have to follow up AGAIN. Talk about frustrating and incompetent. I have been kind, patient and polite in all of my correspondences and have a email trail to prove it. They had no problem collecting my money, but cannot support fixing THEIR mistake in a timely capacity. And sadly, I was told this issue of my rod pulling out is "not uncommon." I have wasted so much of my time in dealing with this clueless company. Buyers beware! blinds to go on 3rd ave & 60th st is alive and well with "the bait & switch". i was quoted a price by the manager whose name starts with L.she later told me she made a mistake on the additional discount she quoted me. there were signs for 30% off around the store. i told her i had a coupon for 30%off. L told me that would be an additional 30%off. however that wasn't true.i was told installation & meaurement was included. however when given my receipt there was a $48 charge for measuring & installation.L told me she would see if she could get me an additional discount. i asked to have her call me either way, i never heard from her.i know 3 people who were waiting to hear my experience before doing business with them. they are no longer interested in spending their money at blinds-to-go. I ordered blinds and in less than ONE year, the product started fraying on the sides and blackening. It took weeks of back and forth with the store and customer service to finally have the blinds sent back to be fixed at their "factory". They were not willing to replace. A few weeks after , I got a call saying they were repaired. But what they sent back are the same blinds, NOT fixed, but actually in significantly WORSE shape. The chalise is completely scuffed up and dirty-like it had been kicked around a dirty floor, the blinds are dirty/dusty and have darkened much deeper on the sides. I had to take off work days to be home during uninstall and reinstall and have lost money already. Customer service here is aggravating. You keep calling a 800 number and then deal with a different person each time. BUYER BEWARE, if you have any issue with your blinds, they just tell you to call a generic 800 number or send an email to a general inbox. It will be a nightmare. They do not escalate and it's a constant game of phone tag that leads absolutely nowhre. I am now being asked to take off more time from work for them to come and "fix" THEIR MISTAKES without any apologies or recourse. In my experience, Blinds To Go do not stand by their products, and I believe they are deceitful and thieves. Edit to the generic response below: the 888 number IS what I've been dealing with. I order some fake custom panels for my sliding glass door. The quality is trash. I hate everything about them. They get you with that custom made and then you are not able to return. For them to never call or schedule a replacement date...They play a run around pretty well. No one gets back to you. When you ask to speak to a manager you get nothing. Well, I'd give zero stars if I could. The experience with this location was far from pleasant. The vertical blinds intended for an office space were hung poorly by the installer. Blinds to go was notified several times and asked to rectify the situation. Calls to the manager Christina were unanswered and ignored. Several times a call back was promised - but to no avail. It seems "the customer is always right" is not applicable in this location. After being ignored by Christina - an attempt to reach to the corporate office was made. B2G Eatontown appears to make no effort to keep their customers satisfied, judging from the other written reviews from previous years it seems they haven't learned "the customer is always right". It's a bait and switch! You think you are getting "custom" but that's not true! I wanted one shade for two adjacent windows and was told I needed 2 separate shades. The two were installed looking like mismatched shades I installed myself! Curtains on my sliders barely cover the doors when pulled taught, looks dumb. When I inquired I was told I could purchase extra panels for another $300. I paid custom dollars for curtains I could have bought from home goods! read more

again since marrch i have waited for them to get mi order correct!!! it started in eatontown nj where monique at the end not only called the police on me but the screamed on the phone to the police that i hit her. when they got there she claime i also hit her another time and locked the door when one officer went insode with customers in there. i have called quebec where the corporate office is and again yesterday! i was on the phone for over 35 minutes only to be told i haven't paid! i ordered with andres all cream and mostly remote blinds. about 32 in total. i have dark gray and gold. this is my 4th or 5th review. go anywhere but to blinds to go!!!! read more

I am NOT happy with my experience. I ordered blinds for my kitchen and sliding glass door. First, having to estimate the size of my windows with my arms in the store is just insane. I was more than ok with paying for someone to come out and take measurements. Wasting 30 minutes guessing on a size based on arm's length is stupid. I ordered the blinds in August. As of November 21st, it is still not complete!! When the installer came to install the blinds, one of the valances was wrong and another blind did not tilt and was just closed. When I called the store, I was told that it would only be a 1-3 day turn around time to have those problems fixed. Over a month later, it took me going back to the store, after talking to the installer 3 times, to complain in person. The new valance was made, and when the installer came, it was the totally wrong size. It didn't fit any of the windows in my order, so I have no idea where they even got that measurement. The installer said that he wished he could tell me that this wasn't normal, but this is what happens in the majority of his installations (that there is always a problem with the order). So, 3 month have gone by since I've ordered 5 blinds, and it still isn't done. Absolutely ludicrous. Updated to add: Today, November 26th, I got a phone call from the store telling me that the valance was reordered, but it is now backordered. I can't say enough how disappointed I am, and I would NEVER, EVER recommend this store. All they could say was "sorry." read more

I am a long-time customer of Blinds To Go in Eatontown, since 1998, and could not be more pleased. My wife and I liked the pleated shades initially purchased back then, and much later, when the "ladders" and draw strings wore out, the shades were repaired with new strings in accordance with their lifetime satisfaction guarantee. I have purchased additional shades and blinds from them, and when the ladder of my kitchen blinds wore out this week, they were repaired and returned within three days. No matter when you call, you get a message that all associates are busy and are not given an opportunity to leave a message. I got my first quote to install blackout blinds during early April. After waiting months for the blinds to be produced, the installer to come and measure my windows, and obtain an installation appointment for June, guess what? The installer didn't show up! Even better, he never called, and he told the company that he "waited for 29 minutes". Where did he wait? I have no idea. I was home waiting for him all day. What did the company do? Nothing. They didn't call, and after I waited over 15 minutes on their customer service line to then be placed on a very long "brief" hold, they offered me an appointment a month from now. My baby has been waking up early from the light outside, so you can imagine my frustration to learn that I'm not getting my blinds and have no idea when I will get them. Doug was very nice and made the process easy but things took a turn for the worse when it came to scheduling the installer. The installer took days to call and couldn't accommodate us quickly as promised. He finally scheduled for a Thursday at 4. We were promised the blinds would be installed by Thanksgiving, so this was already cutting it close. My wife is a nurse and left work early 3 hours to meet but he didn't show. When she called after waiting over an hour, his response was" It slipped my mind." I called the store to complain and their response was that he's an independent contractor. Worst experience ever. Paid $169 for professional measure and installation. One blind was cut too short. They came back and remeasured. Product line is high end but so are their prices. Measurements and installation were made by the homeowner; there were no errors on the cut of the sheer shades from the factory. I picked up the order a week later and I received it quickly. It was the second time I made a purchase at the Eatontown store, no issues. The only point I must make is regarding the price. There was a 30% off promo. When I asked the price, the salesgirl casually said there would be no problem with the promo-I'd be fine [I'm sorry; when was she able to view my income?]When she rang up the order, the cost was over $500 for two regular bedroom windows! Yikes, I told her we'd need to bring the price point down and we did. I still dropped around $335.
