I was at Dr Michael…read moreKeller's office and having a discussion about them denying my medical care due to my inability to pay my co-pay. I was on the phone with the Humana Insurance company trying to settle the situation and see my doctors when the two police office tap me on shoulder and told me to hang up the phone. I told no because I was talking to the customer representative but Office Garces yanked the phone from my hand and hung it up without even letting me said goodbye. He told me that I need to leave the property and said why. I am not doing anything illegal, he said that I was trespassing. He then decided to grab my arm very tightly and forcibly yanking me out. I told him that he was hurting me and he asked his partner to grab my other arm and told me that they will be bringing me to jail for what for asking my doctor to not deny me of medical care just because I cannot afford my co-pay? I never break the law nor have any police record and I never had any problem whatsoever with the police but today, firsthand I experience the horror of police harassment and abuse of authority just like the situations that they show on TV. I thought those only happens in big cities and all but I guess it happens here in small town of Yuma as well.

However, after witnessing this front desk, I felt the need to get my life together as effectively as this front desk. The front desk staff, Denise and Andrea, were very organized. We can all agree that the front desk of a business can make or break the establishment. BioMedical Group is lucky to have competent front desk staff and caring ones. They don't have to repeatedly cold call patients with confirmed appointment dates days/weeks out, yet they do to ensure you are taken care of as soon as expeditiously possible. Denise uses a handwritten triaging process to track patients who could fill canceled appointments. How often have people been told they'll get back to us, only to never hear from them again? Not on Denise's watch. Please give Denise from this BioMedical Group clinic a raise, or some other company will utilize and develop this professional's administrative time-saving potential one day. All the staff were excellent; however, the MVP of the day-to-day is Denise. Good job, and thank you very much for your service.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Woldemichael to my worst enemy. I have been dealing with serious medical…read moreissues since that fateful night, 4 years ago when I had kidney stones. He placed a uretal stent, but neglected to inform me it needed to be removed within a couple months, AT MOST. He didn't even explain the purpose or necessity for the stent. So, I resume my life, believing I will have it for the rest of my life. Fast forward 2 YEARS, I never received ANY attempts from Dr. Woldemichael's office to contact me at all. You know, like" Dear Ms. Blah Blah, it is URGENT you contact my office regarding the uretal stent needing to be removed. Serious complications may arise if it is not removed" etc. Not a word. So after about 18 months, I begin having some issues with painful urinating, pain and blood when being intimate with my partner, and worse...At 40, I can no longer control my own bladder. Yep, Depends at 40. MORTIFYING!! Then, I can't completely void my bladder. Yep folks, 8-10 drops every 20-30 mins. ZERO RELIEF. Of course, I think UTI and purchase antibiotics. No help, so off to the E.R. I go. Where I spend the first week waiting for Dr. W. to be on call, and another "Urologist" (Who literally told me, I'm not gonna even look at your case, I'm going to refund any money paid to my office and DELETE YOUR VISIT, but that's for another review) Finally, after a week, Dr. W. graces me with his presence. For the next week I'm in the hospital, he performs a procedure and removes a 3 CM stone from my bladder, performs some shockwave treatment to break up ANOTHER 3 CM stone that was stuck in my kidney. Still didn't remove the stent, said it's stuck in my kidney, however my kidney has been damaged by the shockwave and him practicing laser tag with the stone. Discharged from the hospital, appt made for one more shockwave treatment. I went to outpatient surgery for this one, and DAMN, that one hurt bad. I was ushered out as soon as I was coherent enough to dress so quickly by the nurse, that I'm sitting in passenger seat and notice, I still have an IV in my hand and have to tell to the nurse to remove it right outside the hospital doors. No prescription, no doctor W letting me know the outcome. I had to call his office 3 hours later for pain relief, which his snotty receptionist tells me "Well Ma'am, if you hadn't left the hospital before being discharged, you would have your prescription." Yes, you idiot, I just grabbed my clothes and ran for my life, right? Yep, and she was the office manager. Had no clue A NEW STENT WAS PLACED THAT DAY. I had resolved to wash my hands with this incompetent office personnel, and a Dr who seemed too busy or too arrogant to properly inform this patient. I give him and his office negative 10 stars if I could. And this is just part one. Stay tuned for part two, 2 years later in next review
