Hate leave a bad review. Ford is a great provider, but…read more.. Looks like onvida is pulling a new billing scam. At the ENT clinic we had to sign an agreement that its a hospital service and a physician service and a hospital service will be charged. There will be a charge and a copay for both. I'd like to downgrade the review from two stars to zero stars, what is noted in the first section, doctor Ford is still a good provider. Unfortunately, the front office was an exercise in futility to be generous. We were unable to schedule the follow-up visit and were told to call back in a month. Then we tried to schedule to get hearing AIDS. They gave us a printed sheet of paper to call somebody else, and they started commenting about insurance that isn't ours, and finally realized they weren't even looking at the correct account. They were looking at somebody else's chart entirely. Obviously more annoyed than embarrassed at their incompetence, at that point they just tried to do everything they could to get us out of the office as fast as possible instead of taking care of us. I am not even angry. I'm appalled. How can a health care provider? They just said they were going to double charge and double co pay then say we just don't want your money. Go away. We're too incompetent to take care of you. I think they need to have their hearing checked. They said you may have to pay it out-of-pocket and then I said i'm aware of that. I'll pay it in cash $100 bills if necessary. So why in the hell couldn't they schedule it.

This is a tough one. Most (not all) of the actual providers are okay to great, but the company is…read moremercenary and has inappropriate clerical and front office staff training. Mercenary: Two charges and two copays for a (not at the hospital) visit to see one provider for one service. Maybe its legal, but its certainly morally ambiguous. Poor Training: Unable to schedule follow up visit at time of current visit. Have to call back in a month. More Poor Training: Tried to schedule a different service and was handed a number to call somebody else for an insurance company we don't even have. Then I realized they were looking at somebody else's account. Instead of apologizing and trying to get things straight they just seemed to want to get us out of the office as fast as possible. Saying they would check with our insurance and call us. It's not covered by the insurance I was willing to pay out of pocket, but they never even let it get to that point. My mom needs hearing aids. I'm willing to pay in cash with $100 bills if need be, but Onvida's ENT clinic on Avenue B just wanted to get rid of us. Generally, Dr Patrick Ford is a great provider there, but he could stand to know a little more about the other directly related services within the clinic. I'd give Dr Ford 4 stars, but Onvida as an organization would get just 1. Given that the cost of Onvida (a community non-profit medical organization) is among the most expensive in the country, my experience today taking my mom to see the doctor was very disappointing. I went with my mom today with every intent of doing whatever was necessary to get her hearing aids going, and left feeling like Onvida doesn't want our business at any price. It was pretty terrible.

And he was correct, top-notch treatment. Sad to say she left, and it has been terrible since. I was passed off to a NP and while her interest seems genuine the administrative operation of the office is a DISASTER at best. I was to be referred to a Neurologist and that is when the end was near. First on a separate note there were issues with getting insurance approval for a different issue that was affecting my knee. They sent me for x-rays, said I needed treatment, and they would get approval. Never got back to me on that issue. Back to the Neurologist. I was told a name and number and if they did not contact me withing a few days I should call them. I did not get a call, so I began trying to contact them. The Neurologists office phone kept giving me a recording announcing the voice mail system was not available. After multiple attempts I called Up2Par. Their assistant said she would follow up with the Neurologist. She called me back and said she reached them without problem, and I should call again. I got the voice mail system is not available message again. I called Up2Par and she said she would try while I was on the line. This time she got the voice mail not available message. Next, I was referred to Up2Par's scheduling office so I could speak to the lady who would be coordinating the referral. That was a disaster. She spent the better part of the call explaining why the issue was happening such as the doctor that I am referred to does not like voice mail, so the office does not use the technology. After listening to all her excuses, I told her I was unsure about using the doctor they recommended. So, between the multiple missed communications, it seemed after an extreme number of phone calls and mounds of frustration I had an appointment with the Neurologist, and an appointment to check some issues requiring an ultrasound of my chest. Still at this time I am not sure about my knee. Now I receive a form letter with the boxed checked stating and I quote, " We cannot live up to your higher expectations. Due to that, we encourage you to find another physician." Amazing they have a FORM letter that you check the box stating they cannot meet expectations. Apparently, they do that often!

I developed an earache over the passed couple days. As I was about to head to CVS to pick up some…read moreover the counter ear drops, my wife recommended going to urgent care since we're heading out of town tomorrow. I'm a cash payer, no standardized health insurance, so I was reluctant, but decided it might be a good idea because the pain is worse today than it has been. I made the appointment and upon my arrival, I let the woman at the desk know I don't have insurance and ask how much the visit will cost. She said she can't tell me that and it all depends on what the doctor does, x-rays, exams, etc. I thought it be odd there is not a standard visit cost, but thought it'd be around $50-$75 since I knew no x-rays would be needed. I get called back, they weigh me, take my blood pressure and temp, all check out well. I wait a couple mins for the doctor. Not a long wait, which was nice. He walks in and asks about the earache. I tell him it's in my left ear and that I've had similar pain before which turned out to be an impact of the ear or wax build up. He immediately checks my right ear for reference, no problem. Then checks my left and says, "Guess what." I reply, "what." He tells me, it's all clear and completely clean. It is a little inflamed though, so he prescribed me ear drops. He was in the office a total of about 3 to 5 minutes. I go to the front and they give me my script and a bill for $180! What?!?! $180?! For what?! To tell me I have no wax build up in my ear take some ear drops, which I already planned to do? I was floored at the price tag. This is the problem with the health care system. It's such a scam. It's no wonder people result to Google or web md. If she would've told me the price before I went to the back, I would've walked out. But because I was "seen," they can charge whatever they want and I can't do anything about it. Shame on you NextCare taking advantage of hard working Americans. I won't be back, but what do you care? You got your $180.

After struggling with ongoing pain, she was one of the first providers who truly took me seriously. Because of her thorough care and willingness to listen, I'm now scheduled for surgery in May to finally address what I've been dealing with. Dr. Kelur genuinely listens and doesn't dismiss your concerns. She takes the time to understand what you're going through and makes you feel heard, supported, and validated. That level of compassion is hard to find, and it made a huge difference in my experience. She is not only knowledgeable and professional, but also deeply caring. I feel confident going into my surgery knowing I'm in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Kelur to anyone looking for a provider who truly advocates for their patients and takes their health concerns seriously. The lady's at the front desk were also very friendly and helpful greeted me when I went in and also thanked me and said goodbye when I was on my way out, been going multiple times as well for blood work and everyone has just been so nice and supportive great customer service all around. I was told yes, so imagine my surprise when I was billed almost $4,000 because my insurance was denied. Every time I've called in with a question, the front desk seems as though they have better things to do, and the nurses brush off my questions. Luckily, I only visited here from March to May of 2025, but I felt unheard by the nurses and doctors. Dr. Haddad was nice, but he ignored many of my comments about the timing of my cycle and took 19 vials of blood from me at once. Many staff members overlooked my concerns, and I did not feel compassion from them for my past miscarriages. I moved back to California after this and had to call a few times to get medication refilled. The process was difficult, and my medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy without my knowledge or any note in my chart for me to check the location. This medication was time-sensitive and necessary for me to keep my pregnancy viable, so the lack of urgency was very disappointing.

I never break the law nor have any police record and I never had any problem whatsoever with the police but today, firsthand I experience the horror of police harassment and abuse of authority just like the situations that they show on TV. (REALLY puffy feet, bad headaches, visual issues, and traveling numbness on my left arm.) Since we travel in an RV and live in AZ in the winter and travel in the summer, I wanted to establish a doctor in Yuma, where I am half of the year. I DO have health insurance that I pay for every month and have for over a year. This clinic was on the directory. When I was shooting the breeze with the nurse, I mentioned the weather and that I live in an RV and we'll be travelling up California in the summer. Then finally Brady Olsen, who I was appointed to see, came in and asked, "Do you live in an RV?" I said "Yes". He said, "You are a transient, we don't do that here". I thought he was kidding at first, so I asked, "What?" "We like to establish long term care for patients and you have too many health issues. We just don't treat transients" He then told me that he treats snowbirds because they live here for 6 months and then travel to somewhere else for 6 months. I told him that's what we're doing, we're just starting! At this point, he wasn't interested in talking to me anymore. He wanted me out of the office. He said, "Check out the Yuma Walk-In Clinic. They deal with transients". At this point, I can't believe whats happening. I never even got to tell him what's going on and what I need help with. The moment I said I live in an RV, he was done. Then, as he was ushering me out of the room, his 4 staff members were watching from the office area. He said, "We need to be more careful about transients". I interjected, "Because we're evil!" I was so upset! I felt humiliated because I was treated like a sub-human.
